Great Townhome in Big Bear Lake - Walk to Bear Mountain Ski Resort & Golf Course

A skier's and golfer's dream. Walk to Bear Mountain Ski Resort and Bear Valley's challenging 9 hole golf course. Bear Valley Alpine Zoo is just a 10 minute walk. Townhome is located in the desirable area of Moonridge in Big Bear Lake. Minutes to grocery stores, Dollar Store, and eateries.
Walk In Lower Level - 2 Master bedroom suites each with their own full bath. Both bedrooms includes walk in closets with dressers and access to downstairs patio . Cal king bed in one bedroom, 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed with twin on top, double bed on bottom with a twin trundle. Total sleeping capacity of unit is 6. Upstairs couch is wide and cozy, like a futon, that could be used as an extra sleeping place (extra linens available). Infants do not count in total maximum of 6. Maximum adults allowed is 4. Children ages 16 and up would be considered an adult.
Upstairs - Large, inviting open concept living and dining room with fireplace and lots of floor to ceiling windows. New comfy leather couches and chair. Small breakfast bar. Kitchen with side by side refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, oven and stove. All kitchen essentials are furnished. Upstairs also has a half bath. Large dining table in open living space.
Spacious patio with comfortable seating. Full size propane barbecue is provided. Views of the beautiful aspen and pine trees from the patio.
A one car garage is provided to tenants with storage for skis, snow boards and boots. There is access to inside of house from garage. Garage door opener will be provided for tenants.
Large laundry facility in townhome with full size washer and dryer. Laundry detergent and drying sheets are provided.
Games, books, and coloring books are provided.

Great cozy place and location

We had a great time staying at Phyllis' condo in Big Bear. Location was great and was perfect for our family and two young kids. Would definitely stay here again!

Easy peasy. We liked that it was less than a 10 minute walk to the slopes. The place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We also liked that it had a garage. We didn't use it, but wanted it just in case the weather became inclement. Everything was clean and fresh. Beds were very comfortable, even the pillows, which often times I have a problem with. Loved having ensuite bathrooms too....so many nice surprises. Everything worked, two types of coffee makers, which is a plus. Oh, bonus, the owner left us snacks and wine. That was super sweet.

Our host, Phyllis, was very communicative and even offered us an earlier check in which we were able to utilize when we got into town early. The condo was exactly as pictured. It was VERY comfortable and cozy. We especially enjoyed the welcome basket, plethora of games, warm blankets and mountain decor. This was by far the cleanest home we’ve stayed in on our trips to big bear. There was no dust or dirt to be found, despite being in the mountains and surrounded by lots of dirt and snow. It was absolutely perfect. The water got hot very quickly, which for me, is a huge plus. The beds were comfortable. The location is perfect for those interested in visiting bear mountain to ski/snowboard but also not too far from the village to enjoy shopping or eating. We had the best time here and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area. Thank you Phyllis for the opportunity to stay in your home.

The property is amazing, at the foothill of Bear Mountain Ski Resort nestled within a beautiful and secure neighborhood! The cabin is gorgeous, and quite frankly the listing does not do it justice! A must stay and a definite return for my family!!

Beautiful layout and furnishings.

As soon as I opened the door I noticed how immaculate and well cared for this place is. It has lots of seating space for everyone. I loved the private baths in each bedroom and the upstairs living area has a 1/2 bath Plenty of nice dishes and cookware and they even provide a nicely supplied welcome basket.. Another big plus, its only an easy 5 minute walk to Bear Mountain Resort. From beginning to end the experience was wonderful!

My teens and I were very comfortable in this condo, it was spacious and had everything we needed. The location was great. A little far to walk in ski boots so I dropped off my skiing teen (or maybe bc she was whining) and walked back in my snowboard boots. Fine to walk to lifts in snowboard boots if you go through the back meadow to parking lot. Marco the check in guy was great, very helpful and accommodating and responsive. I would definitely rent this condo again.

Amazing comfortable cozy and spotless cabin !

We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully decorated cabin with all the comfort and amenities to make you feel at home ! It was spotless clean and very comfortable, with extra bankets and heaters. The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry rooms were extremely well fitted with snacks, a bottle of wine that my husband enjoyed, cleaning and washing products, spices and even olive oil, a lot of games for the children… we felt at home ! There were explanations for how to use everything : the beautiful electric fireplace, the fans etc. There was even a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. It is very conveniently located a very short walk from the Bear Summit resort. The only negative thing is that our big SUV car did not fit in the garage, but other than that, this place is perfect !

Great Townhouse!!!

We've stayed at several of the townhouses in the Bear Meadow complex because of it's proximity to Big Bear. This one was the best so far. Everything was updated and easy to find. The hosts even had an electronic lock on the door, so no keys to carry around or lose. Also, very nice welcome snacks upon our arrival. TV was easy to use and had all the streaming services. Games were plentiful, along with a Keurig for morning coffee. Shower had dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash. For me it's the little things that make the townhome comfortable, and this unit has it all. Would definitely stay again!!!

Fantastic host, wonderful location

We decided to stay here and celebrate the holidays together as a family. We are so thankful we did. We had a wonderful time and the amenities were perfect for us. The host put a lot of thought into setting this rental up and it is literally walking distance to the ski slope. Loved our time there, we already miss it.

Great Big Bear family getaway

It’s a wonderful two bedroom townhome at the foot of the ski resort and on the first hole of the golf course. It is very well decorated and comfortable. We loved our stay!

This property far exceeded our expectations. Probably the cleanest rental we have ever had. Everything was very well thought out and you can tell they take great care of the property. The location was awesome! Close enough to walk from Bear Mountain even after hurting myself!

Beautiful immaculate condo!! Great location!! Love the layout - very open and spacious. Attention to detail is evident throughout. Usage of the garage and a washer/dryer is a plus. Kitchen is well equipped. Our grandson enjoyed the all access tv channels and apps!! Phyllis has done a great job decorating as well - very warm and cozy. Mario met us at ck in - he's very kind and knowledgeable about the area. We highly recommend this property. We are looking forward to a return visit!

Amazing!

Escaped to the snow with my 17 & 11 year old. We had a BLAST! Townhouse was incredible and just perfect for us! Girls loved the bunk trundle bed and coach sure did suck you in for some much needed naps after a long day of snowboarding! Kitchen was very well equipped with everything and anything you needed! We got to enjoy the fireplace the first night but remote wouldn’t work afterwards, probably just batteries which I meant to go buy and replace but kept forgetting while out n about! Garage was a little tight for my big truck but parking around unit was easy and always had a spot right outside! My daughter LOVED the snow and enjoyed being in a safe little complex where she could play outside and not be on any busy street. Yet bear mountain was just a little strolle away! Location was PERFECT! Actually EVERYTHING was perfect! We will def try to be back again sometime in the near future and hope this incredible little treasure of a spot is still reasonably priced and available! We had an AMAZING trip! THANKS Phyllis

Weekend trip

This is a wonderful condo right next to bear mountain, 5 min walk to the resort! Very spacious for a 2 bedroom and has a balcony and bathroom in every room. Everything was clean and well stocked. We did have a hiccup with the hot water heater but that’s something that can be repaired. Overall a great rental and bargain right next to the mountain!

We're sorry the hot water didn't seem adequate. It is a small tank. We did have it checked and it checked out fine. You can not be washing clothes at the same time or all using the showers at the same time. Thank you for your honest review. We do appreciate it.

Tourism Sentiment Index, included Big Bear Lake on its "100 Most Loved Travel Destinations Around the World." CNN included Big Bear Lake in its "Best Lakes in California" and Lonely Planet also included Big Bear Lake in its Best California Family Winter Destinations. There are amazing bike trails, two great ski resorts right in Big Bear Lake, many hiking trails, boating, camping, fishing, water sports of all kinds, Magic Mountain Alpine Slides, bowling, go karts, shopping in the very quaint Village. There are more restaurants than you can imagine. Our property is located close to marina's, the lake, walk to Bear Mountain Ski Resort, Big Bear Alpine Zoo, and the only golf course in Big Bear. Walk to the club or the driving range. Clubhouse also has a great restaurant.

Location, location, location. Located in the desirable area of Moonridge in Big Bear Lake. An added benefit to our townhome is that it has a one car garage for your use. Walk to hiking trails, Bear Mountain Ski Resort, golf, Big Bear Alpine Zoo. You can catch a shuttle, after a short walk, to Snow Summit in the parking lot of Bear Mountain Ski Resort.
