SOUS NOUVELLE PROPRIÉTÉ !! DROIT SUR LA PLAGE! Vues dégagées sur des kilomètres. Sortez par la porte arrière, quittez le pont puis vous êtes immédiatement sur le sable! Très privé avec pas de voisins au sud pour environ 2 miles et vue bloquée des maisons du nord, encore à distance de marche des restaurants populaires hot spot. Rénovations continuelles. Grand téléviseur 50 pouces dans la salle familiale et téléviseurs dans les trois chambres. Superbe vue sur l'océan depuis le coin salon confortable. Deux chambres doubles et la troisième avec deux Duobunks! Deux salles de bains, une avec un passage pratique de la buanderie au couloir de la chambre. Awesome ocean views from huge back deck right next to the dunes. Easy beach access from the house and new renovations….brand new kitchen, 2 new bathrooms and 1 new big picture window to watch the ocean from the inside when raining. Screened in side porch a plus also. Have been going here for 4 years now. So nice to see improvements every time! Thank you Don and Vickie for sharing your wonderful beach house. Hope to see it again next year.

Fabulous Location!

This home offers the most magnificent view and proximity to the ocean of any house that we stayed at while at the ocean. You could just sit on the deck and feel like you were at the beach!

Vacation

Perfect for private beach vaca. Even in the off season, it was exactly what i wanted. Quiet, but close enough to everything. House is very nice, clean, and owners were easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend this beach oasis!

Amazing!

If you want a place on the beach, this is it! There's a fantastic deck where you can sit and watch the waves. Then, just a few steps and you are on the beach. Beautiful!

Dolphins, pelicans and beautiful weather.

We saw so very many dolphins this trip along with a lot of pelicans. Watching them from the huge deck with the magnificent views was amazing. Weather was great, sunny and warm. Free Netflix is always a plus. Great restaurants, bagels and a bakery all within a few miles of Hip Nautical keeps cooking at a minimum. We hope to get back again next year.

Perfect holiday getaway

HipNautical was the perfect place to spend the week between Christmas and New Years! We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle and disconnect for a few days. Vickie and Don's place was so comfortable and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy a much needed break. Our elderly doggo was so happy to spend the days on the deck overlooking the beach. And man, the views are so beautiful! We can't recommend this place enough.

Great property

We had a great time staying at this property. This house had the best location right on the beach. We had my elderly parents with us and they had no issues getting down to the beach. The house is so close to the water. It makes this house perfect for kids, pets, and the elderly. We would definitely go back.

Paradise!

We had another amazing stay at Hip Nautical in Kitty Hawk. The cottage is in a very convenient spot and right on the beach. It has a nice large deck and a covered and screened in porch with new furniture. The cottage is well maintained and the owners are wonderful to work with. They do a lot of extra things to make the cottage special. This was our third time there and definitely not our last!

Relaxing and Accommodating

The property is comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We are older so found the TV a little complicated but mostly we didn't use it anyway, just wanted it for the weather. The location could not be better, right on the beach and near everything you could want. We totally enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very accommodating and answered every question we asked before and during our stay. We would use this property again.

Beauty and perfection in beach life

I was amazed and thrilled with this perfect beach house, It is even better than the pictures, because you can add breezes, ocean waves, birds, dolphins, and sunrises to the spectacular view. It's also in an excellent, central Outer Banks location for exploring, shopping, and sightseeing. Restaurants and pubs are very close, some you can walk to. And when you return home, there is that excellent deck and porch to enjoy. Many times it felt like I had the beach all to myself, the location is that good. Thanks so much, Vickie, for sharing your beautiful place.

Wonderful last minute get away!!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Check in and check out were smooth as could be. The house felt much larger than the pictures showed. The new deck was secure and spacious for keeping the dogs relaxed and safe. Location, even in the winter was perfect. There were restaurants less than a 1/2 mile away even opened in the off season. And THAT VIEW!!! The Beach was beautiful, We enjoyed many walks with our dogs! Vickie was a wonderful and thoughtful host! We can't wait to come back!!

Felt like royalty of the beach!

HipNautical was everything we hoped for for our first OBX vacation. Vickie was a delight to rent from and quick to help us with our questions. Being able to bring your pup on vacation narrows your availability, but this property was definitely the good life!! Steps from the beach, beautiful deck and covered porch, chilled and wonderful AC inside. We definitely felt like the royalty of the beach as we sat in our throne chairs on the deck, watching families haul their beach gear down the road and through the sand!! We feel so fortunate to have stayed at this beautiful home. Thank you!!

Location, Location, Location!!

This is clearly a well-loved property with owners who make sure that everything is ready to go as quickly as possible. Vickie let us know the SECOND the property was ready. Way earlier than most OBX properties. She calls herself a "mother hen", but really it is just good old fashion hospitality. She even offered to mail some clothes we left. Kitchen was a little cozy (galley style), but we made it work and LOTS of living space. This place is definitely "hip"!

The home was just as portrayed and Vickie was great about keeping me updated on check-in. Unfortunately, we travelled in during a bad storm and only stayed 1 night. We were unable to enjoy the outdoor areas but as a frequent beach vacationer, I could tell that they would have been amazing had the weather been more amenable. Vickie was very understanding of the situation and was a great host. I would highly recommend a stay at this property.

Don & Vickie’s home was peaceful, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing beach vacation. The walk to the beach was easy, and the dune wasn’t too steep—great for families. We enjoyed nearby attractions like the aquarium and had some amazing meals at local restaurants. The deck is awesome and the view is amazing! The host was friendly and quick to respond if we had questions, which made the experience even better. It was the perfect mix of fun and relaxation. We’d definitely stay here again - especially if we decide to travel with our pups later!

Just what we needed

Amazing deck; location is unbeatable… walk over (around) the dunes and into the beach! The deck is just awesome with such expansive views. Sunrise every morning while sipping coffee and taking our dogs to play on the beach was the greatest way to start our days! Outdoor shower is fantastic with actually a hot and cold line… and a hose line… so cleaning up coming off the beach is so easy and helped keep the sand off the dogs. A/C unit is a little older and had some trouble keeping up mid day with direct sun; but got comfortable again by the night with all the fans on.

Family loved our stay. Property is in a great location and clean. We brought our 2 dogs and the house was accommodating for them as well with covers on the sofas, food bowls, and gates on the deck that we appreciated.

My husband, Don and I love to visit the ocean with our adult children and grandchildren, so we decided to try a VRBO home to share with others. We have two sons, five grandsons and three granddaughters. They age from 16 to 14 months. Special memories are made at the ocean, whether it is total relaxation at the oceanfront house, or exploring the surrounding areas. We hope it is the same for you.

The best part is the amazing, HipNautical VIEW! Enjoy your coffee in the morning or a relaxing drink in the evening on the new deck with phenomenal views. Eight tall dolphin watching chairs to enhance your view! Part of the deck is shaded by 1100, for those who don't want the direct sun. The south facing screen porch also has a snack area for enjoying the view. There is a sitting area under the house with sand toys for children to play during the rain or just to get out of the sun for a while. Also under the house is a shower complete with hot water and a foot rinse station.
