Clean and comfy apartment for 4 lady friends! Kitchen stocked adequately to cook your own dinner, but walkable restaurants, too. Good, free parking spot (s).
We loved our stay here! We travel alot as a family, and can honestly say that Terry's place is special! We appreciated the thoughtfulness put into every room, and the fun creativity. It worked great for our family of two adults, one toddler, and one infant.Would come back again, for sure!
Fun and quirky apartment in a neighborhood that's lively late into the night
Charming and quirky apartment in a neighborhood that stays lively late into the night. This apartment is so cute and had everything we needed (plus snacks!). The host was terrific! The neighborhood is busy much of the night with revelers - and during the day provides access to shops and restaurants and an amazing coffee shop and bakery (and a Saturday farmers market). I am glad we stayed there!
The apartment is nicely furnished. The host provided coffee, filters, snacks, and a bottle of wine. I felt like the host went out of their way for my comfort. The location is close to anywhere in Ypsilanti. The room is on the second floor, someone with accessibility issues may want to consider the steps.
I'll admit I was a little worried when we entered the downstairs door and walked up the stairs... But there's was NO cause for concern! The apartment was fantastic and we loved every bit of our stay! Waking up on Saturday morning to a street fair with a farmers market, fresh breads, and local wares was icing on the cake. I'll recommend this place to everyone I know. Most appreciated was definitely the little things - having condiments, snacks, and amenities that are rare in a VRBO was extremely nice and thoughtful.
Loved our stay and how close we were to EMU and the Tap Room. We had a lot to celebrate with our daughter earning all-conference in the MAC Indoor Track Championship.
It turns out the apartment was only 3 blocks from my sons place! He could walk right over didnt even have to break out the scooter. We had a great time and everythung was so close. His favorite pizza and chicken and waffles. The amenities were really special and thoughtful. We will stay again when we visit. Thank you so much
The host responded quickly to any inquiry and provided lots of extras - snacks, wine and the loft was well stocked with linens and amenities. We would happily stay again!
We needed a place near Ann Arbor and wanted to see what Ypsilanti had to offer. This B&B was super clean and check in/out was easy. We loved the location in downtown. We walked to a bakery for breakfast and explored the shops. My kids loved the games and books that were in the place. Thanks for a great weekend!
The most well stocked place Iâve ever been to. Also so clean and comfortable. Host was amazing with communication. Very close to Ann Arbor - making it great location for visiting students
The listing was clear about the occasional stuck door; it's an old building with lots of charm. Ms. Penny had it stocked with plenty of towels, snacks and a bottle of wine, all of which came in handy. She also responded to every message quickly. Great place right where we wanted to be.
Ms. Terry was awesome. The unit had every little detail covered, even down to cotton balls in the bath. Highly recommend this unit. Location is fantastic right in the middle of downtown Ypsi. Visit the Tap Room also across the street. Very nice owner of that establishment. 5star for sure.
We live local and decide to come to ypsi to celebrate our anniversary. The location is perfect for us. Just have a good time and not have to worry about driving. The apartment was super cute and clean also beds were very comfortable.
Terrie added all of the great touches with a bottle of wine to celebrate and a card. Also have snacks available which out of the perfect touch.
We had 4 adults and an infant and stayed for 3 nights. We enjoyed our stay, and it was a good value for the cost. We are not familiar with Ypsilanti, and the neighborhood was a little tougher than we anticipated, including a Marijuana dispensary directly downstairs with associated aromas wafting into the apartment, but we felt perfectly secure inside the apartment itself. The building is old, which brings with it pluses and minuses including lots of architectural character but also some wonky things like doors that donât close well. Check in process and cleanliness were great.
Such a cute place and the host makes it easy to access. We felt like we were visiting friends, welcomed with a bottle of wine, a basket of treats and a fridge with some basics like bottled water and coffee creamer, really thoughtful! The space is VERY clean, and I'm picky about that. We only used the front bedroom (the Hollywood themed one) and the bed was very comfortable! It was a little noisy when the bars closed but nothing that bad (and earplugs/noise machine are supplied if you think it would bother you). The back bedroom is probably quieter. There are good places to eat nearby (Bobcat Bonnie's had a fabulous brunch!), cute shops and some bars. I honestly can't think of anything the host didn't think of that could have made it nicer, and we'll stay here again the next time we visit.
