They recently cut down the bamboo noise barrier to start the project and the noise is louder now. But it should be resolved soon. Thanks again!

This is the first time in 4 years we have ever received a noise complaint from any of our neighbors period. Our home has an in-house sound system including two outside speakers by the pool which has been used by all previous guests without any problems or complaints from any of our wonderful neighbors. These guests brought their own concert sized sound system and played it so loud that not one, but six different neighbors, on both sides of our street contacted each other about the loud noise and thankfully they called us first instead of calling the police. Their concert sized sound system was playing so loud that our next door neighbor could not hear their TV inside their home and neighbors 3 doors down said they could hear outrageously loud music over their TVs. Three of our neighbors are retired police and said a noise citation should have been issued when music is that loud!! We live in a very nice community and we would have been very upset if any of our neighbors behaved this way. Every bedroom in our home has an empty dresser, luggage rack and closet to hang clothes. I was not aware the oven was dirty from previous guests who checked out that morning, otherwise it would have been cleaned (just push a button, self-cleaning oven). All of our guests are given our best Southern Hospitality with full access to our fully stocked bar, paper towels, detergent, toilet paper, sunscreen, bug spray, beach towels, pool toys, grill, and more..these items are normally not supplied in a weekly vacation rental. It's very sad to see ALL of our other guests give us a 5 Star + review and these folks left a bad review. After all the hospitality that I showed them.

Emily, Thank you for choosing our home for your time in Louisville. I'm sorry that we did not have enough counter space for you and I was late for check in. The first booking of the season is always the toughest to try and make everything perfect. We try our best. As for the dog hair, we had our area rugs professionally cleaned last week and they brought it back the day before you checked in, it was not dog hair, the rug sheds very badly after it's cleaned. Our home was professionally cleaned the morning you checked in and my dogs do not shed. I just assumed, people can tell it's our home by looking at the pictures, I don't know too many vacation rentals with family pictures everywhere and a china cabinet full of wedding china, etc. Thank you for your feedback and I hope you had a wonderful time visiting your family.
