Nous sommes à une très courte distance (environ 6 à 7 pâtés de maisons) des plages, des restaurants, des bars et du parc d’attractions Arnolds Park. Nous sommes situés face à une réserve naturelle, à un pâté de maisons de l’eau (West Lake) et à quelques secondes d’une piste cyclable époustouflante, sans oublier 6 pâtés de maisons du centre commercial Emporium, des restaurants dans les environs tout en profitant des activités nautiques. Vous êtes sûr de profiter de la région des lacs, peu importe votre intérêt, que ce soit vous et vos amis ou votre famille. Venez profiter économiquement des Grands Lacs de l'Iowa à Okoboji!

Ce chalet / maison est situé en face d’une réserve naturelle et à côté de notre parc de véhicules de camping saisonnier. Stay if you want be in a campground

We checked in at 4pm and the place was a mess. No one had been there to clean. I place was very dated and is in the campground with very little parking for several families to stay. The rooms are not as they look in the pictures. Upstairs 1 room with king bed, and 1 room with 2 queen beds is right. In the advertised pictures they just change the pictures and bed spreads to make it look like more rooms. The 3 bedrooms in the basement each had a full size bed with little walking room and no headboard or nightstands. This place was a step up from staying a camper in a close quarter campers. I give this place a negative 10!

Great location and nice property

We were late to planning and had only a couple options with 5 bedrooms to accommodate our full family. The property was great! I was a little concerned reading the reviews but it was great! Very clean! There were dehumidifiers in the basement to avoid any damp basement smell mentioned by others. We had a small issue with the air conditioning and left a phone message for the owner. He was at the door in 10 minutes!!! And quickly fixed the issue. The house sits right along the road but is primarily bike and golf cart traffic. We had ample parking and there is. Spot Long the road the was easy to park the boat. We were able to walk to Arnold’s park and the beach on quiet back roads. I would definitely stay here again.

Not as it looks in pictures

The property is in a RV court which is not listed on the description. The outdoor fire pit and patio area is very small and beside a busy road.. this property did not give a good depiction and the inside of the cabin is very dark. It could improve on cleanliness and the beds are not very comfortable . Many of the doors are warped, and do not close..one of the gas grills was not hooked up and the other was very dirty. I would not recommend this property.

We arrived to a clean property after having to wait to check in past the check in time. The property is located in an RV park and has a small, unkept yard. The patio was dirty and unkept with branches all over. It is not secluded at all, nor is it safe for children. The pictures were deceiving about the location of the property. The location is very busy located on a busy road and also with a road circling the house for any tenants to use. The house is not in walking distance of businesses or beaches. The house itself was clean. The kitchen faucet and dishwasher barely worked. We struggled to find information as there was no booklet or information left in the house for Wi-Fi login, remotes, checking out requirements, and garbage information. Parking spots were unclear. The host responded once in a while. We contacted owner about grill and remotes. One grill did not work and was not hooked up. For the amount of money spent to stay, we felt the information for booking was misleading.

Misleading listing

The main problem with the listing is that it is misleading. It does say that it is located next to an RV park, but does not reveal that there are RV's surrounding the house (literally within feet). One end of the house is the office to the RV park, and there is very little outdoor space. The only outdoor space available is pictured - a small porch and fire pit - and it is just a few feet from a fairly busy road. So, if you are looking for privacy and outdoor space, this place is not for you. Also, the house, especially the basement, was extremely damp and musty. This may have been worse because of the very wet summer that Iowa has had, but it made especially the basement unpleasant. All the doors in the basement were difficult or impossible to close because of the swelling due to the moisture. We usually do a lot of our own cooking on vacations, and the pots and pans at the house were not adequate for cooking family dinners. Otherwise, the house was clean.

Great location!

House fit our needs well and is great property just a block from the lake. Beds were all comfortable and two rooms upstairs are huge. Would stay here again.

Perfect house, big and clean

The upstairs rooms are huge and worked out great for cooking, eating and playing games. Used the outdoor table to eat too and fire pit one evening. Three bedrooms downstairs are fine to sleep. All three bathrooms were updated and very nice. Couldn't ask for more..so glad this was our place to stay!

Siblings Retreat

We had a great time. We left a list of suggestions that we thought would be helpful for future guests. We are probably ‘unusual guests’ in that we enjoy being together, cook, bake, play lots of games n stay at the house for the most part. Okoboji Family Vacation

This cabin was very clean and just the right size for our family. Only downfall is that it wasn't near as close to walking distance to shops and restaurants. Overall, a great place to stay!

Good Location, security needs updating

First the bad - to access the property there is an electronic key pad. The access code is so basic that if someone wanted to break in, it would probably be their first or second guess. Not only that, but the code has clearly never been changed, so anyone that has ever stayed here would already have the code and could come back and access the property anytime they wanted. There are no additional locks, chains, slide-bolts, etc. so anyone that can figure out the extremely basic access code can access the property at any time. We did not have any problems with this while we were there, but I never felt very safe while we were sleeping (although I wedged a chair in front of the door at night) nor did I like leaving all our stuff during the day. I get why the owner uses the electronic key pad for check-in and check-out, but there should be at least one additional lock with a key that the renter has control over while staying (or at least a chain or bolt for additional security at night). I would have given the property 4 stars, but this issue really bothered me. Outside of this, the property is in a good location. Just minutes from beaches, marinas, or the amusement park. Its a little odd being on the edge of the RV park. However, this is a seasonal, long-term RV park and is very quiet. We stayed Sunday-Thursday and only saw anyone in the RVs once or twice. The place had everything we needed. Gas grill was in great condition and had full tank and all the utensils we needed. Bed mattresses all looked/felt new and were comfortable. However, the master bed is slightly out of level (or maybe its the floor that isn't level) and it slopes slightly toward the headboard. The TV remote in the main room barely works and a channel listing would have been helpful (although it was so hard to use the remote not sure how much help).

Very nice

This cabin was very spacious and clean. We had 13 people in our party and we stayed for a week. Just a Couple blocks to lake. Kids enjoyed fishing off the dock. Highly recommend this place!
