The place was so clean. It was everything you see in the pictures. We were gone most of the days and came back and fixed suppers there. Everything was great!!!
The location of the cabin was amazing. The town of Keystone was extremely close and the train that passes through was so cute, my son loved it! This property was the perfect size for our two families of four people each, so eight of us total. Thank you for hosting us, we would definitely stay here again!
The setting and location was perfect. We enjoyed the space to accommodate our group of 7 travelers from ages 3 to 83. The owners were quick to respond to our requests and concerns, even when there was a power outage due to a lightening storm that was quickly resolved.
The perfect place to use as âhome baseâ while visiting the many amazing places in the Black Hills. The home was comfortable and clean. Bedding was quality. Plenty of towels for our group of 6. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils. In the evening, we saw deer in the backyard. And 2 bunnies in the front yard! Wi-Fi wasnât strong but we managed to get online things taken care of while in town.Becki was quick to respond to our queries. We loved this place and would definitely come back. Thank you!
We were well accomodated with ample clean facilities and parking. A very well maintained facility with nice quiet evenings and good access to surrounding locations. Great Black Hills location.
This home is very accommodating and extra clean. I thought the location was going to be too far out of town and instead found it to be nicely situated. We loved the vibrant green grass and trees with the extra special surprise when the 1880 Train went by. Wonderful to hear the steam engine from the distance as it approached. It was so quite otherwise : ). We waved but unless they were looking for us, the tree line provided the privacy to a degree. It was equally as good when we went on our train ride and could see our place from the train... So much fun! The mama dear and two little ones freely walked the front lawn. My adult sons spent their time on the back pouch, with such a beautiful view. When I met Becki, I immediately felt her warmth and excitement to meet. The grounds and home reflect her passion. I would recommend this home to anyone as our stay was memorable. Happy Travels!
After an all day drive to get to Keystone SD, we were 2 short miles to downtown Keystone, close to many food options that were open late. 5
We were lucky enough to book the lodge. It was perfect for our family of 4. Our twins (teenagers) got to have their own rooms.
The lodge was spatial, the master bedroom had a large ensuite with 2 vanities. It all seemed like it was brand new! Bonus for us!
We met my brotherâs family here for a fun filled 3 days in the Black Hills. Mount Rushmore and the steam train are only minutes away. Renting ATVs next door was super fun too. The property was clean and very convenient. Makes us want to come back!
We are a small family owned & operated business specializing in offering personal, friendly service. We own a cabin rental business as well as a ATV rental business in the area because we want to be able to be home when our 3 boys get off the bus, we want to be able to play & work together, & we want to raise our children with strong ethics which included hard work & playing in the great outdoors!! Our love for God, country, & family is why we do what we do & at the heart of our business. We've been blessed to call the Black Hills home & would love to share it with you. We'd love to have you stay with us, JAROD, BECKI, AUSTIN, CODY & KYLE
Becki's family is originally from Keystone. She has relatives that helped pioneer the town as well as help carve Mt. Rushmore. Jarod's family is from the Wall & Kadoka, South Dakota, the Badlands area. Beside Mt. Rushmore being the National Monument, Keystone is full of living history of the miner era that once made the town thrive. The Black Hills is also full of geological history & a favorite for rock hunters, which we are, & rock climbers, which we aren't:). The small hometown atmosphere of the Black Hills as well as the many diverse sites & attractions makes this the perfect place to make memories for a lifetime, again & again.
Hiking right out the front door, driving through the Pigtail Bridges, making S'mores over an open fire, playing tag with the kids in the backyard, 5 minutes to Mt. Rushmore, cliff-jumping at Horsethief Lake, looking through unique shops in nearby towns, going on a cave tour, laying on the grass & looking up at the stars, rock collecting, fishing at Lakota Lake, swimming at Little Falls, exploring Ingersoll mine, playing at the city park in Keystone, participating in small town parades & events, enjoying being together with our family.
