Check in and out was so easy!! We were just blown away with the views!! The house was stocked well with toiletries, towels, and two amazing welcome baskets. One with incidentals you might have forgotten the other with incredible snacks including Huckleberry jam and licorice. The beds were very comfortable. the firepit was used every night and the blackstone every morning for breakfast. We were here for a wedding and it made our time here so pleasant.
We had a wonderful stay in an awesome home. Got to see loads of beautiful country and animals. The weather was delightful. Some fine places to eat, enjoyed a rodeo, rafted and fished the Yellowstone river, and even took in a great concert.
From the front windows the view of Emigrant Peak, Chico Mountain, and Paradise Valley are truly captivating. Close enough to Yellowstone NP without feeling crowded. Old Saloon worth a visit on Friday or Saturday night for music, food, fun. Chico Hot Springs relaxing and kids liked it. House was as good as VRBO offers.
Spacious home within 30 mins of North entrance of Yellowstone
This super clean, well stocked home (the kitchen has absolutely everything possibly needed) with comfortable beds and a large game/entertainment room felt like home away from home. The mountain view from the deck is beyond spectacular. The deck itself does need some TLC, especially the loose railing. I mention that for guests with young children who may try to climb on or lean against it. Our family of seven occupied all five bedrooms: be advised if you visit during summer months, the two BRs on the second level (as well the game and exercise rooms) are extremely warm, as there is no a/c. There are oscillating fans in every room, though, and opening the windows after sundown does get some cooler air flowing up there. Mike is pleasant, prompt, and a pleasure to worth with. His house manual provided clear instructions and helpful suggestions with regard to dining, shopping, and activities near the home. He also provided a thoughtful welcome basket, which was so kind. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Mike!
Our family of 8 loved our stay. Plenty of room for everyone, well stocked kitchen, minutes from Emigrant for quick resupplies. Our favorite part was sitting outside for breakfast and dinners with gorgeous views of the valley. Mike is an excellent host, responsive and helpful even as our trip got disrupted by massive airline delays.
We had an amazing stay at this lovely place. Views are amazing, everything is exactly as advertised or better. Short drive to gardiner entrance as well
Spectacular View of Paradise Valley and Yellowstone River
We gathered in Emigrant for my son's wedding at Chico Resort and Hot Springs which turned out to be only about 5 minutes away.
The house was clean and well kept with spectacular views out the front windows. Beds were comfortable and we had everything in house we needed for our stay.
Communication from owner was excellent and would not hesitate to stay here again.
great home with all of the accommodations that you could need. Very clean and well-maintained home. Would definitely consider staying here again if I visit the area again.
We were here for a mini family reunion, and it was perfect! If you have small kids, they will love the upstairs. Check out the toy closet! The house had everything we needed, and was close to Yellowstone, Chico, etc.
Host was easy to work with. We would definitely come back.
Awesome place!! The views were amazing. Great neighborhood to walk in. Loved the upstairs with the pool table and toy closet. Our grandson had a blast! Very cozy and welcoming!!
It was the perfect location for our group. We organized a fly fishing trip on the Yellowstone from the fly shop 4 mins away from the house, but we thought we might be too far outside of Bozeman to do other things. However, Emigrant and the surrounding area had everything we needed. A BBQ joint, the Saloon had live music each night, Chico Hot springs were a short drive away, and we had easy access to Yellowstone Park.
We really enjoyed our stay. Very comfotable home with a fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. Plus, they had toiletries, laundry supplies and snacks! Owner was very responsive any time we messaged him. HIGHLY recommend for anyone going to the area. An easy trip to the northern side of Yellowstone.
We brought 4 of our children with us to explore Yellowstone and the surrounding area. Northside was the absolute best side to stay on. We saw so much wildlife and getting in and out of the park was a breeze. The home was perfect for us and we loved every moment of our time in Emigrant, MT. Thank you to our amazing hosts who made our trip feel like home-away-from-home!
Our Family stayed in this gorgeous, rustic cabin for 5 days and enjoyed many adventurous in the surrounding area. So many things to do. The cabin was very well stocked with things we never expected. Even had a toy closet for the Kiddos. Definitely recommend! Owners were very helpful and kept in touch with us!
Other than having to deal with a mouse or two (we're from Wyoming so we know those babies can find a way in), our stay was wonderful and the house was perfect!! Owner was very responsive and attentive. Only suggestion would be allowing more time for check out.
The house was perfect for our family of 7 plenty of room to spread out. Mike and Jodi are all about their guest! Flowers on the table and a basket of goodies and essentials just incase you forgot something. Very easy to get to Yellowstone . We enjoyed several meals in Emigrant and a concert one evening at the Old Saloon.
Perfect! Everything was great and as advertised. We were coming for a mid week wedding at Copper Ranch in Pray and a combined trip with another family from Chicago. The house was in a perfect location for the wedding and getting to Yellowstone.
The check in and out process was easy. We received the appropriate amount of communication from the owner/host.
Because everyone else has stated it âthe house is so cleanâ. đ. The kitchen has everything you could possibly want or need. We had four adults, two teenagers and one 5 yrs old in our group. Enough rooms for each kid and two big enough rooms for the adult couples. We enjoyed and utilized the upstairs game/movie theater space. The is enough grass around the house and we pitched a tent to check out the evening sky and stars.
I am giving a 5 star and when I come back to Montana this will be at the top of my list. We visited during the second week in July and the locals said it was unseasonably HOT. This is just an FYI, the house doesn't have central air conditioning. The owners had fans in key rooms and gave instructions to getting some air flow going.
As I stated at the beginning everything is as advertised. The latest Smart TVâs and strong WiFi many devices. It felt like being on the Ponderosa ( if any one gets that 50's TV reference) the neighbors were far enough away you didn't notice them. Enough parking space for two vehicles. I highly recommend.
