Une propriété rare à Bora Bora : ce bungalow sur l’eau offre une vue panoramique à 180° sur le célèbre lagon turquoise, avec les motus bordés de cocotiers en toile de fond.

Ancienne propriété du célèbre acteur Jack Nicholson, ce bungalow allie charme, confort et situation exceptionnelle.

Situé sur l’île principale, dans une résidence calme et résidentielle appelée le “Condominium”, il bénéficie d’un environnement paisible avec accès à une petite plage et une exposition idéale du matin au soir.
Le village de Vaitape se trouve à environ 10 à 15 minutes en voiture.

Ici, tout invite à la détente : bains de soleil, baignades dans le lagon, couchers de soleil spectaculaires, et dîners face à l’eau…

Le bungalow N°3 est l’un des 5 rares bungalows privés sur pilotis de Bora Bora.

Son grand séjour lumineux avec cuisine ouverte s’ouvre entièrement sur la terrasse grâce à une large baie vitrée, offrant une parfaite continuité entre intérieur et extérieur.

Le bungalow se situe à environ 10 à 15 minutes en voiture du centre de Vaitape.

The property is located on the water about 15minute drive from the main village of Vaitape. Fantastic views and overall good clean property in a quiet location. Full compliment of amenities makes you feel like your in a home away from home!!

The bungalow is beautiful with gorgeous views. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Bora Bora. Only issue I had was getting here as we landed after 6pm so there was no taxi. We were lucky one of the resort shuttle was willing to drop us off.

Wonderful accommodation. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and great bathroom. Lots of towels and beach towels. Kayak and water floats were greatly appreciated. Tasha and Jessica were responsive and very helpful. Wonderful location for water and sunser views! Loved it.

The property was perfection. It was nicely appointed and very clean. The property manager. Natasha was delightful! We enjoyed swimming in the lagoon and fish watching at night. The kitchen has everything needed to cook meals. I LOVED this property. Cannot recommend it more highly!

Serene and aquatic getaway

We absolutely loved Bungalow 3! The overwater getaway was great, from rim the restful deck, with underwater lighting on the corners which drew curious fish, yo the excellent shower. The bedroom was equipped with storage space, and a comfortable mattress. The kitchen was well designed and met our needs. The AC in the bedroom made sleeping much more restful. We hated to say goodbye to Bungalow 3!

Over water stay in Paradise

Our stay in Bora Bora @ Over the Water Bungalow #3 could not have been any better! Jessica and Tasha were great to work with! Very communicative and Tasha had some really good recommendations on restaurants! Property was better than the pictures! Can't say enough great things about the whole experience! P.S. Rent their car, it was a perfect arrangement! Thanks Jessica and Tasha! Hopefully we'll meet again!

This place is unbelievably beautiful, no exaggeration... the pictures dont do it justice. The property manager Natasa was attentive and so sweet. If I could post some of my amazing photos or videos from there I would. Best sunsets you will ever see.. just be sure to wait about another half hour after you think its over because it will only get better. No one does this and they miss out.

If it's available for your dates - book it!

This property on BoraBora was very special, and our stay went well. Communications with Jessica and Tasha were easy and prompt, the house was as represented. We rented a car from Jessica - necessary if you want to leave home for anything. We swam from the deck, enjoyed seeing the fish in the night lights, had a wonderful boat trip to the fabulous Coral Gardens - Glen picked us up and dropped us off at our dock. Only negative thing I can add is the sliding screen that didn't slide easily - but then maintenance is probably a challenge over the water. Yes, we'd stay there again.

This property is GORGEOUS!! The pictures don't do it justice. It is absolutely breathtaking. Bora Bora was the last stop on our honeymoon and with this overwater bungalow, we absolutely had saved the best for last. The water is beautiful and there is great snorkeling right in front of the bungalow. Also, Jessica was a great host. She is easygoing and does all that she can to make sure that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. She also is able to arrange pickup/dropoff from the Air Tahiti airport-to-Vaitape boat if you aren't renting a car immediately during your stay. We loved Bora Bora and it was a great way to end our honeymoon!

Better Than The Pictures

We stayed for about a week in early July 2023. We were blown away. The host did a phenomenal job at communicating with us and giving us tips and suggestions. The house was extremely clean, beautifully remodeled, and the view is breathtaking. I have only very positive things to say about this house and the hosts. I do wish we had done more research about Bora Bora before we chose it as our travel destination. We would not choose to go there again, however if you have fully decided to go then this is the house to stay at. We drove around the island several times and this is by far the nicest house!

Absolute Magic

Do yourself a favor and book this property. Everything about it exceeds expectations. We felt like royalty. The property managers were kind and communicative, and helped us with everything including a car rental through the house making our entire trip seamless!! We went on a boat tour with Moana tours (captain Glen is THE BEST!!) and had beautiful meals around the island. We also cooked a lot at the rental with all the tools so generously provided. This rental is a MUST for your dream stay in Bora Bora. We are absolutely in love with overwater bungalow #3 and know that anyone else booking will be too. Thank you thank you thank you!

Perfect Tranquility and Stunning Views!

We stayed at this bungalow over Christmas 2024, and it was everything we hoped for and more. If you're looking for complete tranquility, this is the place to be. The location is ideal—secluded enough to provide a sense of peace, yet close to all the amenities you need on the island.The bungalow itself was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the abundant sea life right below the patio, making daily snorkeling a real treat.The hosts Jessica and Tasha were fantastic—always helpful and quick to respond to any questions. We also rented a car from them, which I highly recommend. It made getting around the island, going to restaurants, and picking up groceries so much easier. Without a car, some of these activities would have been quite inconvenient.Although there were great tours available, we found ourselves spending most of our time at the bungalow, enjoying the ocean, the views, and simply relaxing on the deck. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with all the right amenities, this bungalow is the perfect choice!Thank you again for all your help Tasha, Jessica!!! Sergiy and MarianaP.S. Just Perfect!

I can not say enough nice things about this property. First and foremost Natasha are host was absolutely amazing, she was so attentive to our needs and wants. Any question I had regarding where to eat, where to go- she would research or offer her likes of island restaurants and excursions. She is so informative. The OWB was everything we wanted and exceeded our expectations. The beautiful aqua water and the fish were so beautiful. We snorkeled right there at the OWB and saw so many beautiful fish and coral. We were far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown traffic but close enough to get to any where within 10 to 15 minutes. The locals were all so pleasant, nice and helpful. The inside of the OWB was just as welcoming as the beautiful aqua island waters. Big, beautiful, state of the art appliances, hot water with great pressure in the shower. We had a washer & dryer just like you were at home. Full kitchen and a Apple television so you could use your Hulu or Netflix account to watch television in your preferred language. All the luxury's of a resort without the high cost of a resort. Just Perfect!

Wonderful over the water bungalow

This over the water bungalow was so cool! It is a wonderful home, very spacious, great kitchen with all of the accessories and a beautiful view of the water. We especially enjoyed the porch where we ate our meals. Also having a washer and dryer to do laundry was a plus. Renting the car that is available through the VRBO was very convenient. The car was left in the ferry parking lot for us so no waiting in long lines to get the rental car. And leaving the car in the ferry parking lot when we were leaving Bora Bora was super convenient. The bungalow is a good ways from any restaurants or shopping so the car was essential for us. The only down side to this particular bungalow is that there is only air conditioning in the bedroom/bathroom. We vacationed in Bora Bora in January, which is their summer, so it was hot and humid while we were there. The bedroom was nice and cool, but it was very uncomfortable (sticky and muggy) in the main living area and kitchen. I think this would only be a problem during their summer months. Otherwise this was a wonderful place to spend a week in Bora Bora.

Bungalow #3 Honest Facts

If you are looking for a modern over the water well maintained property with notoriety (aka Jack Nicholson's x digs) then this is your place. If you are comfortable with tour boats stopping by to take pics while you are on the deck, then this is your place. I you love watching motorboats and sailboats approx 50 per day not counting jet ski tours, five at a time half a dozen times per day then this is your place. if you are OK with the property being adjacent to a small public beach with a picnic table and people floating around the bungalow in "noodles" then this is you place. If you don't mind having a camera above the sun tanning deck, then this is your place. If you are OK with a DIY check in with Jessica or Tasha nowhere to be seen, then this is your place. PS: they were not even on BB. If you are OK with the DIY approach to how everything works in the house based on a manual, then this is your place. If you are OK finding you car rental in pouring rain pulling your luggage in a sandy parking lot at the ferry terminal based on a pic amongst hundreds of cars, then this is your place. If you are looking for a peaceful quiet property with zen, then this is NOT your place.

Overwater Bungalow w/out the Resort Tether

Bora Bora is about the water and island time. This bungalow will allow you to experience them without the resort fees or stuffiness, yet with the occasional touch of concierge if you need it. Do a tour & grocery pickups as needed, but there's little reason to leave the bungalow. Leave the kids at home. Fully upgraded with all amenities. A car rental, though helpful & available from host, is not necessary and the hosts will generously help with taxis as needed. Some restaurants provide taxis as part of dinner service. Upon arrival, consider walking to Chin Lee (best market in town), grab the local fruits from the street vendors, and head back to ferry for taxi. Tell them "condominiums at Fah-ah New-Ee". Lights on pilings attract fish at night. Very memorable. Unlike the resorts, there's still live coral in the water here. easy swimming & kayaking with gear provided. Really great hosts who care about the quality of your stay. Neighboring bungalows can cause noise, as they allow larger parties. Public dock down the road attracts local kids that like to blast music, which is unfortunate. These minor noise issues are the only negative to this otherwise magical property.
