Great house for a Tahoe golf trip!

We stayed at the Saint Bernard Tahoe Retreat in Truckee for a guys golf weekend and it was a perfect setup for our group. The house had plenty of room for everyone, was very clean and comfortable, and the location worked great for the courses we were playing. The hot tub, pool table and BBQ were big hits after a full day of golf. The kitchen and common areas gave us plenty of space to hang out, cook dinner and enjoy the house without feeling crowded. Everything was as advertised and the Wander experience was easy from check-in through checkout. Would definitely stay here again for another Truckee/Tahoe trip. Highly recommend, especially for a golf group or larger group looking for a great home base in Truckee.

Hi there Miles. Thank you so much for such a lovely review. We’re delighted you enjoyed your stay and, most importantly, that you were able to relax and feel completely at home. We love the location for exactly the reasons you mentioned: close enough to enjoy Truckee and everything North Tahoe has to offer, but peaceful and private when you come home at the end of the day. And we’re especially happy to hear the beds got a mention! A comfortable bed after a long Tahoe day makes all the difference. It was genuinely a pleasure having you stay with us. Thank you for choosing our Tahoe home, and we'd love to welcome you back again.

Hi there Marcella and Family. It was excellent having you stay with us and the super time you had is great to hear. Thank you for your kind words the house is how we like it and hope how people like it we have it stocked as a home would be not how a rental would be. The cleaning takes a lot of effort on that house it's not a small house and quite complex plus being in the mountains you get dust and everything, but we do our very best so thank you it’s so great to have the thanks on how clean the place is much appreciated. Thanks for all the great communication it's important and goes both ways to treat people how you want to be treated crazy but communication is always the most important thing in our books again not easy but you have to try right? Stay well and we loved having you at the home hope to see you again.

Thanks for the great accommodations! We will be sure to visit again!

Charles and Joanne's place was perfect for our two family trip. There was a kids living room and an adult living room, making movie night very enjoyable for everyone. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds and the adults the king size bed accommodations. Beds were very comfy, which is a rare find in most rentals. Hot tub was also a fantastic treat.

We just finished our second stay at the cabin in the past three years and it was just as good if not better this time than the first time. The place was immaculate and equipped with everything that we needed for our stay in the snow. The owners are fantastic and excellent with communication. Overall, our party of 7 had a fantastic time and highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in the Tahoe area.

Thanks Danielle, and group we really appreciate it the house easily sleeps up to the fire limit of 10 people with great comfort, the house isn't small as you found and has a lot to offer, not that far from anything you need winter or summer. We have spent a lot of time putting the house together how we would like to find things. We have even put in a desk area now so you can work remote or work from a vacation home. Thanks again.

A+ stay

This was the perfect house for our two families to get together. Two masters and two bunk rooms were ideal. Shared spaces were great for everyone to play games- ping pong, cards, chess. Hot tub, grill, kitchen were all nice and put to good use. Great location for everything we wanted to do in Donner, Truckee, and beyond.

Place is beautiful and convenient. We had 4 small families, and all had our own space for sleeping and room for adults to mingle and cook upstairs while kids played downstairs. Amazing property!

We loved this stay immensely. The owners were very communicative and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. From the beds to the towels to the kitchen amenities - no detail wasn't thought of. You can tell the owners actually stay here plus rent this property out instead of the typical "it's for renters so let's do everything as cheap as possible"! I appreciated how clean and organized it was. The location and setting are beautiful too. We will definitely return!
