Récemment rénové, cet établissement de luxe a des détails de conception exquis qui sont présentés dans toute la maison. La maison spacieuse dispose d'un décor avec des détails complexes qui ne manqueront pas d'être remarqués. De plus, le savoir-faire du mobilier et la beauté des œuvres d'art confèrent une beauté unique à cette retraite côtière. Le premier étage de la maison comprend le salon principal, la salle à manger, la cuisine, le séjour et 3 chambres et salles de bains. Les hauts plafonds et le plan d'étage à concept ouvert améliorent la sensation d'expansion de la propriété tout en offrant de nombreuses options pour dîner, se détendre, converser et jouer.

Le salon dispose d'un mobilier haut de gamme confortable et d'une télévision à écran plat. Il est ouvert à un bar avec évier et réfrigérateur à boissons, idéal pour savourer une boisson fraîche en après-midi. La grande île centrale crée un espace idéal pour le petit-déjeuner ou pour se divertir tout en dégustant des cocktails. La particularité de la maison réside dans la salle à manger, qui comprend une table en dalle en noyer aux rebords vivants et de superbes œuvres d'art allant du sol au plafond. La cuisine gastronomique est à la fois belle et fonctionnelle, avec des armoires haut de gamme, des comptoirs en marbre, des appareils électroménagers modernes en acier inoxydable et beaucoup d’espace pour préparer un délicieux repas. La spacieuse suite principale (chambre 1), situ��e au premier étage, juste à côté du salon, dispose d'un lit king-size et d'une vue fantastique sur l'étang de Canvasback. La salle de bain principale dispose d'une douche à l'italienne, d'une grande baignoire et de deux lavabos.

Il y a deux chambres supplémentaires (chambres 2 et 3) au premier étage, chacune contenant un lit queen et une salle de bains. La quatrième chambre (chambre 4) est située au-dessus du garage et comprend deux lits queen-size et une salle de bains privative.

Famille et amis voudront sûrement passer des heures sur la belle terrasse arrière ou dans le porche. Lovely home

This home was just what we wanted and as advertised. Very bright, clean, nicely decorated and well-located. There were some nice extras, such as beach stuff, available for our use. The property manager was quite responsive. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Walk to the beach

Great spot for a family gathering with adults and grandkids. Wonderful chef’s kitchen meant we never needed to eat out. Only a couple minutes walk to the beach. Kiawah is the best for beach play with flat sands and mild waves.

Summer vacation

Perfect house for our family! Loved playing games at the island every night and the weather was wonderful so we could enjoy sitting in the deck in the evenings. I REALLY loved the layout of the house and the fact that it wasn’t a 3 or 4 story beach house that you had to continually go up and down stairs! Very comfortable house! Would definitely return again!

The layout of the house is fantastic for a large group. Everyone has space without being directly on top of one another. The outdoor porch was great to watch the wildlife and yes there are several gators and snakes to be observed. A gate would be a nice idea to discourage those who think since it’s not gated it must be ok to go down and explore……it’s not. The Sweetgrass coffee starter was so good we tried tracking down the blend for purchase but learned it was proprietary and not for sale. We then had to break down the k-cups bc that was the only coffee we brought. We assumed all had keurig machines. I would think that this house would have more enhanced offerings in terms of beach chairs, umbrellas and a trolley to bring g all the gear back and forth. The outdoor space could have been better maintained in terms of cobwebs and the like but I suppose the cleaning team is focused on turning over the inside. The wine fridge really did not maintain a cool temp and the fridge was on small side so could not handle the addtl load. The dishwasher was not secured so when it was loaded or unloaded I had to hold it to prevent it from falling forward. We did call twice but it was not addressed by the on call person. The alarm battery was low and although he silenced it, it only lasted 12 hours and started intermittently alarming at 1 am. We were never successful in getting the Cable Tv to work (not addressed in the book about property) but luckily was able to get Apple TV account to work so caught up on Ted Lasso. All in all, great location, close proximity to Fresh Field Market and the beach. Really no need to leave the island. Would definitely recommend to others.

Great location needs some improvements/maintenance

12 Surfsong is a great house and has a great location. We stayed for two weeks. We visited from out of state and could not bring a lot of staples from home. Our biggest complaints are the mattresses. Especially in the primary bedroom. They are old and sagging. I slept on the bump in the middle of the bed, but then my husband was not able to get rest. By the end of the two weeks I slept on the couch. We left a day early because we wanted to go to my parents house where we knew the beds are comfortable. That was disappointing. The full size bed in the first bedroom and another bed in the room above the garage are also sagging and not comfortable to sleep. When the air conditioner stopped working on the 4th of July a maintenance person came out in the afternoon. That was greatly appreciated. Maintenance recommendations: The house should have beach towels. It is hard to bring when flying from out of state. Iron does not turn on. Ice maker is not working. We bought ice. Kitchen should have dish towels and a starter dish soap. Dishwasher needs to be attached. It leans out of the cabinet when it is open. Doorknob for the door onto the screen porch needs to be tightened. Light out on the screen porch. If the mattresses are updated, I would consider staying again. The house had good space for a group to enjoy and have space. The puzzles were fun. Our children enjoyed the room with pocket doors. They had their own 'living room'. Fireworks at Kiawah were great view from the beach. We were able to ride a couple times to the tower. We have young children ages 4 and 6. They had a blast. The lagoon did not disappoint with an osprey eating near by and alligators too. Thanks for letting us review 12 Sursong.

Thanksgiving 2021

This was a great rental with a very convenient layout and close to the beach. However, the cleaning crew seems like they cut some corners. Deck furniture was very dusty, as were some lamps around the house. We loved our stay though!

The house is in a great location and well decorated. The only issue we ran into were they really do only give one trash bag for the entire stay (read the fine print) and there was some maintenance issues that we could live through so we never brought up to the management. Everything else was as expected through the pictures.

Beautiful home that is very nicely appointed.....but needs some attention in a few areas. Good location. Easy 6 - 7 minute walk to beach. Indoor and outdoor lights need attention.....no 3-way bulbs in house and most outdoor lights need to be replaced. Front door sticks and is difficult to open and close. Screened porch furniture isn't up the that of the rest of the home and needs to be upgraded.

This home is a great space for a large family to spend time together. Large common and dining areas. Great light and location. We had a few issues with a broken freezer/ice maker, leaking gas on the grill and broken chair legs around the dining room table. We'd recommend the home. Our stay would have been improved without the issues.

Second stay in this beautiful home

We absolutely love this property and location and couldn’t have had a nicer stay! We stayed in this home two years ago and couldn’t wait to come back. The house is just beautiful and a perfect fit for our family with four young-adult children. It’s beautifully situated a very short walk to the beach, has lovely deck views, is well-appointed, airy, modern and comfortable. The property management company is a pleasure to work with. We hope to be back soon!

Beautiful house and location! The location on the river was amazing for us as it allowed us to experience wildlife watching! Nice short Walk to the beach! Place was also toddler friendly I didn’t feel I have to chase my 15 months old around too much! Thank you!

Very nice property. Felt like a home, not a rental

It appears the owner(s) didn't spare any expenses when they furnished their house. Every room had comfortable beds, great artwork, high end furniture and lighting. Some rental properties have no character because the owner(s) didn't want to spend money on furniture and interior design. Not the case in this case. The home felt very much like a home. Only complaint was the kitchen was just barely stocked (not even salt and pepper) and we had to purchase a lot of basics at the grocery store. But in general we were very happy.

A Fabulous Stay

We had a wonderful extended stay at this home - it was a perfect place to relax, work remotely, and enjoy everything Kiawah has to offer (e.g. 5 mins from the beach; patio that looks over the lagoon). The house is beautifully designed and set up - light filled, well furnished, stocked with every amenity a guest could need. We had a wonderful vacation and can't wait to return.

Fabulous stay!

Beautifully decorated and well-appointed house steps away from beach access and nestled among lush tropical landscape! We loved seeing the gators in the water and on the bank out back! Loved Kiawah and loved this house!

Great House - Clean, Spacious, Comfortable

We are a family of 3 with a daughter (12) so we have never rented homes while traveling. This first experience was a great one! We would definitely rent this one again. I believe it is centrally located...most importantly it's very near the beach (walk or bike). It's also near the Sanctuary and other clubs for dining and activities.

Multiple issues with the electrical and with the a/c unit for the back room. Took too long for someone to respond to us. Put in call on Friday the 5th and Saturday the 6th and did not have anyone come out until late on the 8th and then again on the 9th as more electrical issues came up. Also, the A/C unit in the main house and all other rooms works well but the very back room you have issues and even upon them coming out to remedy the room was hot which cause a few of our guests to have to sleep in the living room on the couch and in the open office/room off the main entrance. Also, the remotes don't work for the one bedroom that you have a TV in, probably should have TV's in all rooms, as you had to manually turn the TV of/on in that room. The AT&T remote works but again the TV remote did not. Probably a battery issue. Also, home could use some TLC in painting and in basic landscape maintenance and you need to sync your outside lighting to come on at night and not during the day. The timer must be off and when we stayed back in November of last year we also mentioned that to you. The house is very accomodating and we enjoyed it so take this as intended which is areas that you could improve on for your customers on behalf of the home owner.

Beautiful home

Beautifully decorated home in a lovely setting close to beach. A few things need attention such as many outlets that do not work specifically in the kitchen and bathrooms and the dishwasher that needs some significant leveling. One disappointment was the lack of a tv in the master bedroom and one other bedroom. Grill was filthy and broken upon arrival. Management company offered to replace but we had brought all of our food due to Covid and needed to cook what we brought before grill could be replaced. Screened porch was not clean.

Look no further -- this house is perfect!

Look no further -- this house is perfect! The house combines serious comfort with beautiful design and stunning artwork making for a relaxing and enjoyable space. The fabulous feel of the open plan dining and living area made each evening an event as our family gathered to hang out, share our day and dine together. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and a pleasure to cook in, w windows along two walls letting in the sunshine and the surrounding green of the lush foliage. The house is a very short shaded walk to both the beach and the bike trails that wind throughout the island, making exploration by bike an easy pleasure for all ages. When not on the beach or on the trails, my family enjoyed the secluded feel of the back deck and the screened in porch. From the deck we enjoyed following the movements of wildlife around the pond as we had our morning coffee or our evening meal. We also noticed that everyone slept well, as the bedrooms were very comfortable, quiet and had the thoughtful feature of high quality blackout curtains. You will exhale in this home and find it very easy to settle in and enjoy island life. My family unanimously agreed that this is the best vacation house we have ever visited!
