Was a great place to stay. The Metro is within easy walking distance and from there easy access to everything in DC. There is a Costco literally a block a way and multiple restaurants within walking distance as well. The house was clean and exactly as advertised.
Loved this place! Family in North Carolina and Boston met up for a weekend. Wanted something convenient to airport and Metro. Was so easy to walk to Metro! House was clean, updated, quiet neighborhood, no safety concerns. Would stay again.
Our stay was well enjoyed! Easy access to all things in D.C. House is on a busy corner, but it did not bother us. Bathroom to bedroom ratio was awesome for our large group, kitchen was well stocked, and there were plenty of linens. We will definitely rebook for next year!
Overall, we had an enjoyable stay at this home. Great location that is only minutes from Reagan Airport and a short drive to DC and Georgetown Lots of space for 14 people, including a teenager and 3 ten year olds, with 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. The property has a 2 car garage and driveway that easily accommodated both our rental cars. Only issue we had was that the queen bed listed in the common room is really a sectional with a removable divan and was not comfortable for an adult. Otherwise, the stay was pleasant.
Property was very nice, spacious, didn't feel crowded with our large group. Staff were very friendly and prompt to answer questions or concerns. Very close to the metro stop which was very convenient and seemed like a nice neighborhood. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals. Had everything we were looking for and a bit classier than expected.
Location is great. Safe area and a short walk to trains, mall and restaurants. The only loss of a star has to go with a terribly hard bed in the master. The place could use a fresh coat of paint and it seems as things broke they just left it for instance coffee pot was broken, master shower had multiple heads and only one remains. One Knob on the oven was Broken. And lots of ants running about in the upstairs master. Overall great property but a few things were not worth the price paid.
4 families enjoyed this home for the weekend. Local area restaurants were wonderful, location to the Metro is an easy walk and under 10 minutes. House was clean, 2 cars can park in the garage, and 2 in the driveway. Big kitchen and living area. Laundry on second floor nice to have clean towels. Basement was a room with King bed, separate bathroom and living area with mini fridge. Safe area. Close to Pentagon. We would stay here again for sure.
We all arrived after 23:30 coming from Arizona, Washington State and California. I was provided a code for entrance 5 days before. We arrived and my code did not work. I called the after hours contact and I was told my code would be accessible in about 45 minutes but that we could enter on a temporary code. We did that and went in. We had only family in the home and there were 10 the first night and additional 4 coming on Monday. There were only enough towels for 6 people and no additional blankets and no shower/bath mats which is dangerous. There also were only 6 spoons and 9 forks and 7 knives in the drawer. I called the after hours contact again and was told due to the hour of the night , we could have 2 people go to the home next store managed by the same owner and get additional towels and linens and silverware. Because it was so late we chose to wait till the next morning to go over with the owners permission and we did get what we needed no problem. That same morning there was only enough hot water for a couple of people to shower. We inquired with the management company again and told them the hot water heater was on vacation mode. Within a reasonable amount of time , they remotely set the water heater correctly. We were in Virginia for my mothers memorial at Arlington National Cemetery and the location was wonderful. Where our stay was fine and the management company was responsive as well as the owner, it was disappointing the home was not ready for our stay.
This property was in a perfect location for us to have the ability to uber into DC and surrounding areas or walk to a number of places close to the property for any needs we had.
This house was the perfect location for our family and friends from across the country to gather for a special event. The location is wonderful and the property manager was very responsive. The only downside was that the cleaners did not complete their work prior to the 4 pm check in time. Easy walk to metro station, a large mall and plenty of places to eat and shop.
We traveled to DC to see a family member graduate. We wanted a large place to accommodate our whole the family. The location was perfect and slept everyone well. Each bedroom had its own full bath. What a pleasure it was to stay all together and enjoy each others company.
Family trip to see the sites Only suggestion would be to have a clothes basket in the basement bedroom. 3 flights is a long ways to carry clothes! Great location to Metro.
The host was always available when we needed assistance and was able to help me get my family in with no further issues. The house was spacious and accommodating for all family members. The location is on par to walk to restaurants, shopping and to the metro. 5 min drive to the airport with Uber transportation within minutes for a pickup.
There was a possibility that our flight would be delayed or cancelled from the storms in the Midwest, the host was more than willing to assist us with another stay if needed.
For a large family of 5 siblings and significant others we were very happy with our accommodations.
Everyone loved the place and it's location to the metro/city. We had all ages and families from no kids to many kids. The home was clean and having so many bathrooms was awesome! Only complaint from everyone there was the bedding. The pillows/sheets were very cheap quality, some even went and bought their own pillows. It would probably be beneficial to bring your own if this bothers you.
The house was located in a nice neighborhood very close to the Metro which made seeing the sights in DC and Alexandria easy to get too. The house was large. Everyone had their own bathrooms. A real plus! Better than that everyone had a bed. Hard to find a place for so many adults that don t have bunk beds! The owner quickly answered my text with a call - within minutes. I would definitely stay again if returning with a large group.
The property was disgusting. Crayons all over the walls, ants on the bottom floor, no supplies, and not well cared for. Thermostats could not be adjusted and no paper towels or garbage bags. Would not recommend!
Here for the Marine Corps Marathon. The location was a short walk from the Metro and in a very nice neighborhood. Places to eat close by. House was very spacious. Plenty of room. Clean and neat overall, yet a few items did / do need attention, such as the vent in the half bath on the main floor needing cleaning, writing / marks on areas, as other reviews have stated, especially downstairs, button to open microwave door broken, dead batteries in t v remote, springs through sofa in upstairs bedroom. Couple of lights flickering constantly. Not enough towels in bathrooms. Not enough toilet paper. Garbage cans in garage area where you were supposed to leave trash on checkout were full. Little things. Not a problem for us. OVERALL IT WAS EXCELLENT and suited our needs very well. No complaints.
The house was great. It was .3 miles from the Metro which made it very easy to sightsee. We even took an Uber Scooter from the White House to the house (26m) and was a blast. It accommodated my large family well. The water pressure in the master bath is amazing. There were TVs on every level of the house which made it easy to occupy the kids when grown ups needed private time and babies needed to sleep. My only complaint was that the beds and pillows were not comfortable for some people and one of the bathroom showers was clogged. For reference I sleep on the firm copper Nectar Premier and I thought my mattress was very uncomfortable even though it was also firm. Also, none of my party was overweight.
Overall, the property was great with lots of space and very short walk to the Metro. It was winter so didn't mind that there was no yard. The only complaint was the cleanliness. Many things in the kitchen felt a little greasy, the soap dispensers in the bathroom didn't work and were filled with soaps that didn't belong in them and no hand towels. There were clean towels and sheets in the bedrooms. The space was great for 11 of us but it was decorated very sparsely so felt like a hotel instead of a home.
felt that the property was poorly taken care of. crayon colorings over most walls and living room main tv. ants in all bathrooms and kitchen, master bed was terribly uncomfortable so didnt use after 1st night. coffee table, end table, and couch in master bedroom were all broken. 1/3 of all the lightbulbs in the house were nit working. an outlet by entance door was not connected to wall and safety hazard. found a vape next to kids bed. the shower curtain rods would not stay up. ceiling in living room had tons of water damage that has not been fixed. supposed to hold 16 people, but when we arrived only had about 6 towels and none for sinks. again 16 but only about 6 glasses to use. and the guest bed was broken and we had to find the supports and put it together after a terrible night sleeping. the only thing positive was the location. paid 900 a night for itâŠ
