À propos de cet hébergement

Notre cabine spacieuse a de nombreuses caractéristiques étonnantes emballées dans ses 1000 pieds carrés. Notre cabine unifamiliale était présentée dans le magazine COUNTRY'S BEST CABINS (2013) et dans le magazine COSY CABINS & COTTAGES (2018).

La cabine dispose d'un salon accueillant avec une grande télévision à écran plat et un poêle à bois. La cuisine ouverte est entièrement équipée.

La grande chambre a un ventilateur de plafond et est meublée avec un lit de journal queen-size avec des draps de haute comte et une couette alternative en duvet. Dans le salon, vous trouverez également un canapé-lit queen-size en cuir américain avec un matelas Tempurpedic.

La salle de bain complète est dotée d'un sol en pierre et d'une douche à l'italienne.

La cabine a un porche couvert privé pour vous permettre de vous détendre et profiter de la magnifique vue sur la montagne et les couchers de soleil magnifiques.

Si vous aimez les activités de plein air, la cabane se trouve sur 12 hectares entourés par la forêt nationale de Flathead et offre un accès facile aux sentiers de randonnée. Un lac alimenté par une source de 3 hectares avec un quai où vous pourrez nager, pêcher et faire du kayak. Tally Lake, le lac le plus profond du Montana, n'est qu'à 12 kilomètres de la cabine!

Prenez un trajet pittoresque de 9 miles jusqu'à Whitefish et profitez de tout ce que Whitefish a à offrir. Whitefish abrite une scène artistique active mettant en vedette de nombreuses galeries, du théâtre et de la musique. Si vous aimez faire les magasins, Whitefish ne vous décevra pas. Whitefish a de nombreux magasins de vêtements, de souvenirs et d’antiquités à découvrir. Whitefish abrite également certains des meilleurs restaurants et brasseries de la vallée de Flathead.

Whitefish Mountain Resort se trouve à 25 km de la cabine et offre de nombreux équipements été comme hiver. Le parc national des Glaciers se trouve à 45 minutes en voiture de l'entrée ouest du parc et de la route en direction du soleil où vous pouvez faire de la randonnée, du vélo, du sac à dos ou faire une visite du parc dans l'un des célèbres bus Red Jammer.

Perfect

I could live here! I travel a bunch and have yet to see a better-appointed renal home. The pantry was better stocked than my own and had everything we could have needed. The view into the valley was incredible, as was the drive in. The bed was fantastic!! I really appreciated having bear spray available, although we saw no bears. I hope to stay there again someday.

Amazing home away from home

We had a wonderful time at Mikki’s cabin! It was perfect for our week relaxing and exploring Whitefish and Glacier NP. The cabin was clean and very comfortable with all of the amenities we needed; it made the perfect place to come home to after long hikes and other adventures. It’s close enough to Whitefish to make going into town for dinner, or ice cream!, easy. And the drive from town is through one of the prettiest valleys I’ve ever seen! We hope to be back!

Quaint Cabin in the Woods!

We loved our stay here. The cabin had everything we needed and much more. Great owners who offered advise and answered any questions. Great location from Whitefish and Glacier National Park but secluded away from crowded vacationers. Hope to return some day!

Amazing.

This cabin is beautiful and cozy. While we were using it to take a break from the Glacier National Park area, you could absolutely stay here while you were visiting the park. The drive to the cabin is also stunning. Mikki and Bill have thought of literally everything to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. Communicatuon with Mikki was great, and there are notes throughout the cabin to give directions on how to use things. Do not hesitate to rent this wonderful property.

My favorite!

Everything about this cabin was amazing! This was our 2nd stay because we liked it so much the first time. Michele did a great job hosting us and she is just a wonderful human being. I would highly recommend this property and we will be back again in the future.

Peaceful and perfect cabin

Listen to the reviews and book this cabin! It’s perfect and has so much character. The property is amazing. It is very close to town yet still feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. Enjoyed the porch views every hour of the day.

Wonderful experience!

We have stayed at numerous properties in the area. This is our favorite. Clean. Quiet. It is ideally suited for a couple. Convenient to both Whitefish and Kalispell. The hosts are great. Everything as advertised, and more.

Quiet secluded getaway

We fell in love with this perfect cabin in the woods. It was spot-on for what we were looking for, for a quick getaway. We had such a relaxing time by the fire after a long day of skiing and snowboarding. It's a quick beautiful ride into Whitefish. They thought of everything and even had a Vitamix:) Soft pillows, sheets, fabulous toiletries, coffee, and even wood for the fire. What an amazing home!!! They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and to insure we had a lovely time. This place is a GEM!

Perfection!

This is, hands down, our favorite vacation rental....ever! It is beyond perfection. The location is wonderful!! It’s so very private and tucked into the woods, but amazingly close to town. The cabin has soooooo many wonderful touches. It is beautifully designed, built, and decorated. We want to live there! I cannot overuse the word “perfection” while describing everything about this beautiful cabin. The wood stove was amazing, and wood/kindling/paper were ready and waiting. when we arrived. So thoughtful! Mikki is wonderfully communicative and such a wonderful host. Stop looking. This is the place you want to book. Seriously, it is. Stop looking. This is it!

Secluded, Serene, Spectacular

Those three words really describe this beautiful "cabin in the woods". This was the first time that we had been to this part of Montana and this was the perfect place to stay for lots of reasons. It is not far from Glacier National Park, and it is very close to the town of Whitefish, which we found charming with lots of good places to eat. Mikki was a wonderful communicator from the start and she was ALWAYS available to answer questions and make good suggestions on things to do and places to eat. And it is the best equipped VRBO home that we have rented. Mikki has thought of everything! If you are looking at this property, rent it! You won't be disappointed. And when you are there, be sure to read the story in the magazine on the coffee table about what made Mikki and Bill want to retire in this area, and all of the planning that went into making this such an extraordinary cabin. It was obviously a real labor of love, and it is a true work of art! This is not just a property, it is a home, and that's exactly how it feels from the time you walk in the door!

Whitefish PERFECTION

This cabin is perfect in every way!! Our only mistake was our stay was much too short!! The cabin is secluded yet only minutes to Whitefish & also close to GNP. While the pictures of this cabin on the listing are spectacular it is 100x better in real life! As soon as we drove up our worries went far away. We had the best 5 days here, by far the best vacation we have ever had!!! We were very lucky with the weather & spent the evenings on the back porch with wine enjoying the quiet. Every morning several deer came and hung out with us. The views are incredible from every angle outside & inside the reclaimed lumber and attention to detail are unmatched! This cabin had everything you need: fully equipped kitchen, exceptional linens, Aveda bath products, fishing gear for the private lake, a short hiking trail right out the door. This is the PERFECT gateway location for a couple wanting to escape noise & crowds. The hostess was always very helpful with any questions & very easy to communicate with. We can’t wait to return!!!! This was truly the BEST experience ever!!!!

Mountain Paradise

Mikki & Bills cabin is absolutely perfect!! What a fabulous weekend for our anniversary getaway. The scenery is unbelievable & so secluded yet a short drive to town. Dog sledding close by & ordering door dash is perfect because you’ll never want to leave the cabin! Everything you could ever need. We can’t wait to return for a 3rd trip

Amazing!

Amazing cabin and location! Perfect setting outside of Whitefish. The cabin is as perfect as a cabin can get and the added touches of hospitality (local beer, Jam, candy, coffee) make it feel like home away from home!

An amazing property and beautiful setting. We only regret that we had not been able to stay longer. Cabin is very tastefully done, and one of the best stocked we’ve stayed in. Miki was super responsive and helpful. This property is one of a kind.

Great first visit to Montana

When you immediately feel at home in a vacation rental, you know you made a good choice. We spent 10 nights here and the cabin greatly added to our experience in seeing this area for first time. Owners are nearby and helpful if needed. We enjoyed the hike to the lake, the kayak and fishing. Whitefish is a short drive away for shopping and groceries. Would definitely rent again.

Fairytale cabin in the woods and mountains!

We loved every thoughtful and welcoming detail of our stay in this charming oasis! Hope to be back some day. It was the perfect place to end our 12 day Teton-Yellowstone-Glacier trip, with sweet reflections on all that we love about this region. We stayed in wonderful and special places each step of the way, but the personal attention, thoughtful appointments, and welcoming touches made this one our fave! My husband and I are originally from Ohio. We have always enjoyed the great outdoors! We enjoy hosting and meeting our guests from all over the country and the world and sharing with them our little piece of paradise!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

My husband and I chose to retire in Whitefish Montana because we love the area and love being active outdoors. We built the cabin in 2007 out of reclaimed wood acquired from 170 year old Ohio bank barns. The cabin is surrounded by Flathead National Forest which gives you the feeling of being alone with nature, yet it is only a short drive from the cabin to downtown Whitefish, Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort and Glacier National Park!
