Cette communauté fermée d'Ainamalu, "Terre protégée et paisible", est la plus récente communauté de villégiature située dans le magnifique Waikoloa Beach Resort. Son emplacement privilégié sur la cÎte de Kohala vous permet d'accéder facilement à toutes les meilleures commodités de la grande ßle. Notre maison a une vue imprenable sur Mauna Kea.

Notre maison a une grande véranda pour les repas en plein air avec un gril à gaz, des plafonds voûtés, des armoires personnalisées, des comptoirs de cuisine et de bain en quartz. Pluming Kohler, appareils électroménagers en acier inoxydable Jenn-Air et plaque de cuisson à gaz. Une grande suite principale avec une douche tropicale extérieure et une grande baignoire profonde. 2 chambres d'hÎtes avec une salle de bain complÚte à partager. Beautiful home but quite remote

No pool and the remote location made this home a challenge for me, the mom, but it was well enjoyed by the kids. Lots of space to run and play, but no pool, left is wanting for things to do, not wanting to drive the 30 minutes into town, but otherwise very clean and beautiful, comfortable home.

Luxury home for a wonderful family trip

The newly built home was the perfect spot for our extended family of 6 (including our newborn daughter) to visit for a warm vacation over the Christmas holidays. The house was spotless when we arrived and had all the amenities one could possibly need. We spent the majority of our 11 night stay preparing our own meals in the spacious kitchen, or BBQing. The house is a 10 minute drive to one of three grocery stores (Foodland, KTA Super Stores, and Island Gourmet in the Queen's MarketPlace), and a short drive away from Hapuna Beach, the Hilton Waikoloa Beach Resort, and 'Anaeho'omalu Bay. Unfortunately, it's at least a minimum of a 45 minute walk to most places give the location as part of the new Ainamalu development. While this house was fully built and had a magnificent garden, many other homes on the street were still actively under construction. We saw that there are proposed plans for a shared pool and a club house (for the Ainamalu development) that will only make this property better in the future. Thank you for the wonderful, and very comfortable stay.

Nice house

We stayed at this property for a week and enjoyed our time there. Unfortunately the house was not as clean as we hoped. The floor was stick and dirty when we arrived. Previous renters probably wore their shoes into the house and the cleaners did not clean the floors before our arrival. We ended up wearing house slippers as our socks and feet were getting dirty walking around barefoot. Some of the plates/dishes in the cupboard, although clean, still had food stuck on them. So, cleanliness could've been better. With those out of the way, the house is nice and comfortable and Michelle was great to deal with. We were already on the island before the day of check in and she arranged to have us check in before the normal check in time of 4PM. This house is in a convenient area of the island and it's easy to get around from there. Cleanliness issues aside, we'd stay here again.

We enjoyed grilling and eating dinner on the lanai overlooking Mauna Kea and the beautiful landscaped yard. The original artwork is so impressive and the furnishings have a great Hawaiian feel.This home can accommodate three couples comfortably in the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The location is great for nearby golf courses, beaches, restaurants and hiking trails. Everyday we enjoyed using the Hilton pool pass with free parking. We loved all the amenities of the Hilton Resort without staying in a small hotel room.We will definitely rent again next year.

Beautiful Home

We’re locals of the Big Island and reside over on the Hilo side and needed a place to stay for a week long work event. Home was in the perfect location, with beautiful furnishings, and a fully equipped kitchen. Definitely looked forward to returning each day after a longs day of work. Highly recommend and will be booking again.

Enjoyed sitting outside under the covered lanai drinking coffee every morning before jogging around the neighborhood. Their are boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, umbrellas which we found to be very helpful Good supplies of mugs, glasses, plates, bowls.. we didn’t cook but there are enough pots and pans if you want to cook although the knives are quite dullWasher and dryer always come handy. You can park your car inside the garage. Clean beddings, comfortable pillows The house is clean except for inside the refrigerator Cons: can’t really walk to restaurants or groceries but if you have a car it’s not a big deal. No amenities such as swimming pool or fitness center since it’s a new development. High cleaning fee. Overall it’s a very pleasant stay for a rental, and keep in mind I’m more like a hotel/ resort kinda of person and I’m picky so do not hesitate to book if you’re looking for a rental place. Suggestion: for longer stay, management should provide enough supplies such as paper towels, detergent, toilet paper etc.. we had a 5 night stay and if we cooked, It would be a hassle to run to the store to get more supplies

Beautiful home in a great location

We have a wonderful and relaxing stay here. Enjoyed being on the lanai street night and feeling the breeze while gazing up at the stars and the mountain. Very close to shopping, beaches, and great restaurants plus easy to get to Hilo and other places for day trips. Definitely would stay here again.

Great Home in Waikoloa - Big Island

Our stay was for 11 great nights on the Big Island's Kohala Coast in Waikoloa. This is a bit north of Hualalai and next to the Mauna Lani Resort. The home is new and located in a great single family home development that is only partially complete - quiet with little traffic. The home has an large family room - dining area - kitchen that is open and fairly well stocked. Bedrooms are comfortable and the master batch includes a large tub, shower and an outdoor shower that I thought was a real treat.....loved it. The yard out back is big with a large lawn area that look out to Mauna Kea and Hualalai - absolutely wonderful sunrises and view. The lanai is large, covered and has comfortable furniture and ceiling fan. We visit the Big Island annually and usually stay in condos located in Mauna Lani......but we loved this home and would come back if available. If you like to walk this location is great.....1 to 5 mile walks through the Waikoloa development are great. Waikoloa golf is not quite as nice as Mauna Lani or Mauna Kea, but still pretty good and only a couple of minutes away. Sound system and TV's are good and Amazon Prime and Netflix were available to us. Instructions from management for entry, rules and exit requirements were clear. The BBQ is older, but fires up easily and can sear a great steak. My only complaint is that they do not provide a garage door opener.....every time we left we had to get out and manually close the garage door. It would be great if they made one available even with a $100 fee if you lose it..... It is Hawaii so you will see some bugs/insects, but this place was pretty clean. Bottom line....we had a great stay and would stay there again if available. Mahalo

Paradise abounds

We had a wonderful stay at Ainamalu 29. It was a beautiful home. There was ample room, and the home was very comfortable. We had everything we needed for living and visiting the island. No detail was left to question. The outside of the house was gorgeous and well kept as we enjoyed many coffees, afternoons, and stargazings there. We have rented many VRBO homes and this was tops. Michelle, the property manager, was extremely helpful with keeping us informed of the weather of the island, she was very responsive. This is a “do not miss, rent it now” property. We hope to be back soon! Mahalo!

July 2021 Vacation revie

Just stayed here for 8 nights in July 2021. Let me start with all the positives about this place. The house is new, modern, and extremely clean. I would call it a high end VRBO. It is well appointed. The kitchen is great and we were able to cook wonderful meals. The backyard is large and has a nice lawn our kids played catch on. The master bath shower and bath tub were really nice after a long day at the beach. The outdoor shower also came in handy! Now on to the negative aspects. There are two security cameras (that we know of) outside the house. This should have been disclosed in the VRBO listing along with the locations. I totally understand the owners would want to protect their wonderfully high end rental. However, it did feel weird grilling outside with a camera pointing directly at me. Guess they now know I a BBQ master. The fire alarm went off three times during our stay. Once while cooking bacon (it wasn’t really smoky at all). Another time they just went off with no cooking. The third time was during light cooking in the kitchen. They seem to be way too sensitive. Because this is a “smart house” you are unable to reset them by opening doors etc. They have to be manually reset with a code and you will need to call the property manager to get a code and let them know not to dispatch the fire department. Once we had to leave dinner to come home and deal with the fire alarm because my in-laws have a language barrier and they did not know what to do. There also must be an ant/pest problem as we found multiple traps on the floor and people were spraying the yard of the house next door. Lastly, the “pool access” is just a 10% discount code for the Hilton Waikoloa pool. The day pass is $100 per adult and $60 per child. You get a 10% discount off that price. With the discount it still equates to around $500 hundred dollars for 6 people to use the pool for a day. The idea that there is pool access available is deceiving as the access they offer is the same offered to the general public. The property will be much better once the community pool is built. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. We would stay here again if the fire alarm issue is corrected as this was a total nuisance. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your special house. We had a great vacation.

Wonderful stay on the Big Island

We loved this place...clean, modern, stylish, and upscale. We ended up staying in for dinner most of our stay and enjoyed the patio and view. The stars on clear nights are stunning. Quiet and peaceful nights. Highly recommend.

The backyard views of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa can’t be beat. Conveniently located in Waikola Resort, restaurants, beaches, shopping, movie theatre, and a grocery store are a quick 5 minute bike ride away. I will never stay anywhere else because we felt so spoiled staying here.
