I donât normally write longer reviews, but our experience was so great I wanted to share more!
In my opinion, this house is excellent for larger groups. Itâs clean, decorated in a contemporary style, and has plenty of space for everyone! My husband, kids and I; my brother and his wife and kids; and grandparents fit comfortably in this house. What I loved is that the communal areas were spacious and entertaining-friendly AND everyone had their own private spaces to retreat to.
One of my favorite parts of the house is the Grand Room. Guests can stay connected while not always needing to all come together as 1 group. The Grand Room has a kitchen and 4 conversational areas, including a bar! The bar is so nice and modern-looking with added bonuses of a wine refrigerator and ice-maker. The house has not 1 but 2 bars on the main level, which was a pleasant surprise. This 2nd bar is on the screened porch that overlooks the water with a vibe reminiscent of Margaritaville. A drawback if I had to conjure one was that there was an extra loft bedroom (#6) that we couldn't get to and the rooms were cool, dark, quiet, yet very comfortable at night.
My other favorite aspect of the house is the VIEW! Itâs truly a multi-dimensional view as you can see the lake, the rolling hills of the beautifully manicured golf course, and the cove. The Grand Room has 2-story windows covering floor to ceiling to give a gorgeous view and lots of natural light.
We also had fun outside of the house, so donât forget about these perks when you stay. The house has a private dock in the back yard so you can access the water right away. I suggest renting a pontoon boat. Nearby are a snack shack, a pavilion with picnic table set-up to seat up to ~60 people, and a large fire pit overlooking the water. There are also restaurants on and off property as well a movie theater and grocery store about 5 minutes away. This house and surrounding area have so much to offerâŠI highly recommend it and am returning with my family and for a girls trip this year!
