Sunset Sand Castle est une bouffée d'air frais, situé directement sur les sables de Sunset Beach avec une vue imprenable sur l'océan et un accès facile à la plage juste derrière la porte arrière. Le jardin est parfait pour les journées ensoleillées avec beaucoup de meubles de patio et un barbecue à gaz, tandis que l'intérieur a une atmosphère confortable avec toutes les commodités modernes que vous pourriez espérer.

Vraiment l'escapade idéale pour une maison de plage, des planches de surf et des planches de bodyboard sont fournies pour votre plaisir, ainsi qu'une petite flotte de vélos pour explorer la région!

Le château de sable convient parfaitement aux vacances en famille, avec un accès facile à la plage et une chambre avec lits superposés pour les enfants, mais il y a aussi quelque chose de spécial pour les parents!

La chambre principale dispose de baies vitrées qui s'étendent sur toute la longueur de la pièce et s'étendent sur presque tout le «mur», ne laissant rien entre vous et les couchers de soleil spectaculaires qui donnent son nom à la communauté. Un balcon de couple récemment ajouté permet de profiter pleinement de l'expérience complète (verre de vin à la main, pouvons-nous recommander).

Alors que la journée s'estompe, profitez de nuits tranquilles qui se terminent tandis qu'un défilé de lumières passe des navires se dirigeant vers le port de Long Beach à proximité. Cela crée un cadre si paisible que les clients ont souvent du mal à décider quelle vue ils préfèrent!

Loved this property! Has everything you need, a shortage happened with the microwave on day 1 and the host Tyler immediately replaced it, same day without inconveniencing us! The rooms were spacious, the view was breathtaking, it has everything you need, location is perfect and we cannot wait to go back. My family including the kids cannot wait to return to this same house, is next month too soon?!One can only wish

Awesome beach getaway

Our stay here was awesome! The house is as described, beautiful backyard beach access, couch and beds were comfortable, large enough living room and kitchen to accommodate family of 6. Beach equipment was more than enough and still in good shape! We did have a second car and parking was easy to manage. The winter sand berm was still up but did not block view from 2nd floor master bedroom, and was easy enough to walk over for my 70 yr old mother and the kids. We had some minor questions on check-in that were promptly answered. Would definitely stay here again.

Time at the beach with friends.

Cozy beach cottage with beautiful views. Lots of outdoor beach furniture and bicycles to ride. Close to shopping. Me and my friends had a great, relaxing time.

Perfect location!

Great location right on the beach. The home has a great layout for friends or family with tons of extras included - bikes, beach toys, games, surf gear, beach chairs, towels! The master suite has incredible views, we left the balcony door open & fell asleep to the sound of the waves crashing. This is our 2nd stay w friends from high school & we're already talking about our next trip.

We had a great time over Memorial Weekend and enjoyed our stay. However there are things we need to point out: The garage is NOT usable for a car, so there is only 1 parking space, most of the outlets in the kitchen don't work, no dishwasher soap even though we were supposed to wash dishes, TV upstairs did not work at all and the downstairs TV was only Netflix. We were also disappointed that communication with the manager was not good, and we would have preferred to know ahead of time that we wouldn't hear about check-in until the last minute.

Pictures were clearly photoshopped, great location, cleaning crew was horrible, had to buy some basics - measuring cups, spatula, dish soap…etc. Outside area was less than clean

Hello, the house was cleaned directly before your stay and is stocked with basics; we wish you would have notified us of any needs as indicated at check- in - we are more than happy to provide items and assist our guests when needed. Not sure what you mean by photoshopped, the house is provided as pictured. As nothing was brought up during your stay, we fear this review may be retaliation for your breaking house rules including double parking/crossing into our neighbors property, having a fire in the backyard, and delaying our cleaners by 2 hours with unapproved late check out, all of which you were fined the absolute minimum for

Perfect for family getaway

Anything padded (bar stools, seat cushions) could use a deep clean. As seen in previous reviews we had issues with the microwave, tv in upstairs main bedroom and the dryer. We couldn’t wash any clothes while there which was a bummer for a larger family. The access to the beach was perfect and we all enjoyed that. We used Instacart and had groceries delivered and made several meals. This rental definitely needs a new set of pots and pans. The master bath has a lot of water pressure and hurt a little to shower. All and all we had a great time and would stay there again.

A home away from home where your backyard is the sea!

The moment I saw the pictures, I knew this would be our daycation destination. The pictures were representative of the actual house. The kitchen and living room were roomy yet cozy. The bedrooms were spacious, the master bedroom had the million dollar ocean view! The icing on the cake was the sandy backyard. It had an area for privacy that was spacious with a laid back feel. Just a few steps away, you are welcomed with a seating area that showcases the ocean as your backdrop. This is where we spent most of our time. For a group of 10, you won't be disappointed. There's Bikes, boards, toys and a nice grill at your disposal. Please enjoy responsibly.

Great Location- Smaller Than Expected

This house is in a great location with direct access to a gorgeous beach. Great views!! However, the home was significantly smaller than we expected, smaller than the pictures made it look, and significantly smaller than the other three houses we rented for our coworking trip. The bathrooms are also super tiny and one is located right off the kitchen. As other reviews mentioned, there is so much furniture that its hard to move around. We weren't there much so it worked for what we needed but if we were spending much time there, it would have felt disappointing. Also, the communication with the owners was hit or miss.

We are unhappy with the rental for several major reasons: 1) There were homeless people camping across the street from the property during our stay. Despite this obvious risk, security of the property was questionable because the lock on one of the sliding patio doors would not lock properly. Our next door neighbors mentioned that someone outside their party used their patio hot tub during the early hours of one morning. This shows how easy it could have been for us to have had a break-in due to the faulty lock. 2) When we moved in on Friday night, one of the king beds was broken and not useable. We repaired it ourselves after talking to maintenance person who could not come out until Monday. 3) The flooring in the kitchen was uneven in front of the dishwasher/sink area and was a trip hazard which we tripped over. The deck flooring in two locations was badly buckled. Some of the deck boards were bolted down with the bolt tops sticking up at last a half inch causing possible injury to bare feet. We covered up the bolts with the outdoor floor mats. We kept tripping on the uneven deck flooring at the end of the outdoor hallway leading to the back of the property, 4) The hot water fixture in the downstairs bathroom sink had almost no running water. Consequently we could not wash our hands with warm water in the downstairs bathroom. 5) The downstairs bathroom window has a broken latch, again a security concern. 6) Although recent upgrades have been made to kitchen appliances, the property overall was substandard and shabby. There was so much old dirty furniture in the family room that movement was greatly constrained for our party of eight which included two small children. I would not rent this property again.

Hi Donna thank you for staying with us. Unfortunately we cannot control the movement of people outside our property, though did confirm all of our locks to be in working order. As this is a beachfront property it is faced with inclement conditions and a shifting coastline, which seems to have affected the foundation and caused the raised floorboards. Jared from your party informed us of the temporary bed fix and that "we don't need a maintenance call for the duration of our stay". Nevertheless these repairs have been scheduled. We also confirmed working hot water in our downstairs sink. Our property and location are presented as shown in our listing, and we hope that you will make sure to book fully renovated and gated properties in the future if that is what you seek

Location, Location, Location!

House was perfect for myself and family. The location was excellent. Furniture didn't bother us, we simply moved some into the garage and created more space. Bikes are useless, so if you want to enjoy a nice bike ride during your stay, rent or bring your own. Overall really enjoyed our time in Sunset Beach.

Had an amazing time. The house is wonderfully located and plenty of room to enjoy this beach. Only thing missing that could be a make or break with us was a fireplace/ring in the back. Our neighbors had one and we were quite jealous! But other than that one missing item, the place was great! Had a wonderful time.

Do not stay here. VRBO should take down until improved. READ THIS before you rent!

This is our only time EVER giving a negative review for a VRBO property. We have stayed in many VRBO homes and have had overall very good experiences. We know that sometimes with a rental home some things might go wrong. No big deal. This situation was very different. After we got home, they sent us a notice that they wanted additional money for cleaning. Mind you, the cleaning fee was already nuts considering this is a small house. They DID NOT provide us with ANY checkout instructions, we ALWAYS leave a home compliant. We DID NOT abuse this home. Our home is nearly triple the size, in a major metropolitan area and it is half the cost charged twice a month to clean our house, our housekeeper has been with us for 14 years. I don't think she would stick with us if we were wrecking our house like a bunch of 80's rock stars. Anything these property owners asked of us we did. We had been willing to just grin and bear the experience and not review until the extra charge was sent. Here's what you should know: -no check in information, even day of, had to message and call multiple times to get access to house -house 85 degrees inside when we entered, AC only helped in upstairs hall, bedroom ceiling fans inoperable. -dishwasher soap tray does not close, had to wash all dishes by hand, very inconvenient with 6 people -washer does not work, also inconvenient with 6 people. (we know they knew about this and did not tell us) -requested wifi info multiple times, did not receive until 4th day of stay -no hot water in downstair shower, this is the best shower in the house and was unusable. Master bath shower has painful water pressure and main bath shower shoots right out the door when you get in, soaking the whole bathroom -torn up furniture cushions in home and on patio furniture -took time out of our vacation to be present for a microwave repair person to come and work on behalf of owner (repair person spoke with owner while there, we overheard them discuss broken washer) -"fleet of bikes" are corroded, falling apart and mostly unusable -every evening many homeless people set up camp in park next to front of house right outside downstairs bedroom. They did not seem dangerous. Police come every morning around 6-7 AM to clear them out We have escalated rejecting their request for more cleaning funds and have asked for funds back. This seems more than reasonable in my opinion. I have given them days to respond and have heard nothing.

Hello, thank you for staying with us. Wifi info and house information was provided with access codes and instructions sent at check in; this info is also posted inside the home. Please make sure to read amenities thoroughly as this home does not have AC and is listed as such. We appreciate your staying back for the repairman though as we mentioned it was not necessary to do so. We have since removed the bikes in question. The extra charge was for replacement bedding due to irreparable blood stains and excessive trash left throughout the house which is why VRBO has closed the case. We cannot comment on the difference between cleaning prices for SoCal beach houses and Washington homes that are triple the size, and regret that you did not enjoy your stay like our many other guests, but do not feel this is a fair assessment.

House with a view but low on supplies and maintance

It was a great location, right on the beach with beautiful views. The home had lots of sand chairs, some that were old and dirty. The outdoor couch was very dirty, we didn't sit on it. The inside was alot smaller then the pictures. The fireplace and microwave didn't work, however there was a small counter microwave that worked. We called and they didn't respond for 4 days, on which they sent a repair man without notice or any warning. There was one small shampoo & conditioner, and toilet paper in each bathroom, enough for one person and we had 7 people for 5 days, one roll of paper towels so we had to go to the store to get supplies. We also had to fold someone elses towels that were left in the dryer in order to dry clothes. There was also a big buckle in the kitchen flooring that was a tripping hazard. I normally don't complain about little things but there was a lot for the price we paid. All in all we still had a great time and even wanted to stay another night. We most likely would not rent this home again.

Lasting memories were made, but there were some issues….

The good: we had an AMAZING time, and I wouldn’t trade this time I was able to get with my family for the world. Sunset beach is a special place in our hearts, I hadn’t been there in years and I was crying when we left because I just wasn’t quite ready to leave yet. The bad: the outlets in the kitchen don’t work. I alerted the property manager and they said they would get an electrician out, but that never happened. We were there several days so there was plenty of opportunity, nobody ever showed up. The grill outside is useless, well beyond repair, needs to be tossed. There’s a TON of furniture, a blessing and a curse, depending on how many people you have. We brought our own nespresso so only having one outlet in the kitchen to work off was annoying, and lack of response super frustrating. The view from the master is everything it claims to be, but the price tag with issues that could be rectified easily…. :/ we will be looking for another place next spring break.

Property is gorgeous. Any and all beach toys and needs are fully accessible. View and Beach access is phenomenal. There was plenty of sleeping areas and bathrooms for our family of 7. Would definitely stay again.

I usually am not a 'reviewer'

I will start out with the good things: The location is great, you are right on the beach and there are many things surrounding the area to do. The view is gorgeous as shown on the website. The master is great...but so much furniture you can hardly move around other than the sleeping area! The reason for my low review (which I hate to do) is listed below: *The property was dirty-the kitchen cabinets, dishes and cups. The coffee cups were black inside like old coffee was left there and it was on multiple mugs *There is so much furniture in that house you can hardly move around, we had to move so much into the garage and move it back upon departure *.The microwave did not work, The dryer did not work and the bunk beds are so warbley out of the 4 kids (this room was a main reason I rented the house) 1 slept in that room because they did not feel safe sleeping on top bunks...squeeking and moving around so much *I contacted management to fix micro, beds and washer and did not get a repair person *There was a rodent running around the first night, I called and pest control came to set traps (OMG Not FUN) *Of the "fleet" of bikes" that are advertised about 5 of the 13 are operational *The main floor bathroom did not have hot water, they sent a plumber who stated it worked and to just leave it running until the desired temp...I left it on 5 minutes still didn't heat and then just turned it off....so all 7 people shared 2 bathrooms to shower... *Day 3 there was a leak in the garage from the pluming in the ceiling prob from the OLD bathrooms... *They did send their housekeeper to "reclean" (vacuum) and take the wet towels to launder them and return them. She was lovely! I would never return to that house for a relaxing vacation....Again, I am not one to leave a review, but this was just unacceptable... They were apologetic and offered me $750 refund 🤷‍♀️

Thanks for your feedback Keri. We regret that you had to deal with so many issues as is never the case, seen from other reviews. Since your stay, we have installed a new microwave and BBQ, removed the broken bikes, continued regular preemptive pest servicing, and made fixes throughout the property. Maintaining an older home directly on the sand can be a challenge, and unfortunately "when it rained, it poured" during your stay. We'd love to welcome you back to enjoy a more typical stay with our home improvements!

Perfect beach house

Location is everything when you want a beach vacation, and this house is in the PERFECT location! The master bedroom had the perfect view. If you want a cozy beach house vacay. This is your place.

Great Location

Great location! Property and house were very nice. We were able to enjoy the beach and sunshine in private outdoor space. The house itself is nicely furnished and has lots of character. The only complaints I had was with the pots and pans and outdoor grill. The cookware was dirty and in need of replacing. The outdoor grill not only was missing Propane it was completely was unusable/unsafe. I would definitely stay here again but would like to see a working grill and some updated cookware.
