We stayed in the cottages of IndianRiver lagoon waterfront cottages March 1-31 The cottages are quaint and cute . They are perfect for a couple or small families . If the cottage walls could speak, I am sure we would hear great stories of their 80 year history. The grounds are beautiful with walk ways and palm trees and flowering bushes. The resort is a short drive to miles of beaches. The area restaurant are wonderful. We found two breweries we liked. The owners, Kim and Robert ,are very personable and they were available immediately for any of our needs.. Kim and Robert shared shore fishing spots with us. the sunrise on the cottages pier is stunning . . We have already booked a longer stay for next winter
Buildings are old and could use some TLC (which we knew going in for sure!) but they were clean and extremely comfortable! The community is so friendly and quiet, the property is absolutely beautiful. We would definitely stay again.
Originally we wanted to stay in Vero Beach. When I researched VRBO for Vero Beach, these cottages came up so I assumed they were in Vero Beach. It wasn't until after I booked and received my contract per email, that I then realized I had booked a cottage in Ft Pierce. It was my fault for not being familiar with VRBO. I should have been more careful as you should be when booking through VRBO. The cottage was nice and comfortable but totally empty of necessities such as salt, pepper and even a bar if soap in the shower. So plan to bring every little thing you might need. The only things that were supplied were pots, pans, dishes, glasses, dish soap and hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels and linens.
We were looking for a last minute dog friendly get away. We found the perfect spot with comfortable accommodations in an ideal location. Old Florida charm at itâs best! Great onsite contact who was visible on a daily basis. We canât wait to go back next winter for a longer visit.
