We had 11 people ages 4-60. The house more than accommodated our large group with sitting and sleeping spaces. The hot tub was a hit as was the bumper pool table. At no time did anyone say "I wish this house had -this- or -that-."The prom, beach and shops were all within walking distance.Parking was perfect for 4 cars (that's the max allowed).
We took my daughter for her 13th birthday with some of her friends and family. There were plenty of rooms for the adults and kids alike and being able to take our doggos was a plus! We loved being in walking distance from downtown and the beach and will absolutely be staying again in the future!
The home was very clean, spacious, and cozy. There was ample space for our entire family. The location was well suited for walks on the promenade and into the center of town.
Iâm really bummed to be writing this, but we were really disappointed with our stay. After a few days of unanswered messages and calls prior to our stay, the host informed me they are too busy to communicate through the VRBO platform and their call volumes are too high to respond to messages daily. The house was so dirty that our babyâs legs were stained after crawling on the floor. There were nails in the driveway that ended up going through a guests foot. We were asked to complete additional paperwork upon check in, which conflicts with VRBOâs policies. Silver linings - The house is large and conveniently located.
Book through the Property Management Website, NOT VRBO
All was great with the property but the only issue was the VRBO website with unexplainable additional charges that 6 reps via chat and 1 live person via phone was unable to explain. I spoke with the property manager and the issue was clearly on the VRBO side. Be careful when using this website to book anywhere.
This home was everything we wanted; room for 5 couples, a very short walk to the beach, living space to hang out together for meals and a hot tub to relax in at the end of the day. Such a great way to enjoy the beach and reconnect with family!
This was our first stay at Seaside. Twelve family members in all. Everyone had a wonderful time. Weather was just about perfect. House was nice, just not quite what I envisioned.
This is an amazing home. We enjoyed our time sitting around the large kitchen table, lounging in the living room, and making the short walk to downtown. The fact that this home is centrally located is a huge plus.
Overall the house was great and a good fit for 3 coaches and their families with kids for a weekend basketball tourney in Seaside! The location was nice due to the relatively close proximity to the beach and downtown Seaside. Would stay again if we are in Seaside (admittedly not my favorite coastal town)
There are tons of things that are wonderful about this property and a few things you might want to consider. Here is my thoughts in no particular order:
- the person who sleeps off the kitchen will have the washer/dryer and access to the hot tub as well as loading and unloading vehicles. It is also drafty and cold at night bring extra blankets.
- kitchen is pretty nice, lots of dishes. if you are a cook and plan on cooking meals, you will need to bring your own cooking box (spices, pots, pans, etc) there are some but again it is a rental so think used well. Also there were not any dishes/cups for kids. We found one plate and that was it, we had a toddler so made it difficult with all glassware in the house. The kitchen isn't laid out for logic but all things are kept clean, my suggestion is you go through and take time to organize what is there.
- lots of hot water was a plus with so many adults in the house
- house was quiet when everyone needed space, you could go into the rooms and no really hear others unless door was open.
- when we was there none of the TV's worked and it also seemed that there was a stereo systems but we couldn't figure it out, so we ended up never using the TV for movies. They are also not smart TV's so you will not be able to stream. Internet was great and they did use for gaming.
- heat works well, but due to ocean and time of year we all had no slip sipper socks or slippers (HIGHLY advise). If you are cold easily our suggestion is to bring lap blankets.
- Seems that all bathrooms are slightly added as they remodeled, so they are unique sizes. Showers are small and can feel cramped but its is winter so contributed to all the tile being so cold. Fans do help but might bring poop-r-ee just saying.
- Lights went out during a small storm when we was there, we had a hard time finding any emergency lighting. We ended up eventually finding a box in the kitchen, but would have helped to be clearly marked for safety purposes.
- the listing gives the impression that you will have really nice beach access, so to be fair, I will say, you are about 2/3 blocks away and your house faces east and their is a tiny home across who likes to watch all that you and your guests/family do.... think they are local you are not then you will understand.
- Master bedroom bed is a spring bed and very springy. Bedding fresh tons of pillows.
-Overall I give it a 4 out of 5 for experience/home/setting/etc.
The customer service was great! We lost power Saturday morning for a bit. It was nice to have the gas stove to be able to still cook. The hot tub was great!
Our book club of 7 women stayed here and it was WONDERFUL! The home was comfortable and clean and easily accommodated all of us. The Hot Tub was super great and an amazing location super close to the beach and town. Highly recommend!
The home was nice and roomy and beautifully decorated. It was a perfect holiday getaway for my family. It's just two blocks from the beach and about 4 blocks to bumper cars, pronto pups, candy stores, etc. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.
it was really an enjoyable experience. The hot tub was really nice as well

A NOTE FROM THE OWNERS: If you are still in the researching phase and wondering why to choose our company we hope you will keep in mind we also have made some tough choices with your stay in mind! At Seaside Vacation Homes we are very selective on allowing properties into our collection and while more homes = more money, we have historically turned away most of the 300+ rental homes in our area because we felt they would not offer you the value in location, amenities, layout and condition needed to keep you coming back to stay with us. Specializing in offering you the cleanest and most highly maintained homes within a diversity of price points has been the foundation to our business model. Not only must the home be desirable but also the homeowners we work with must have a perspective that allow us to do what is needed to ensure your guest stay is perfect. If you have any special needs or requests please let our staff know as everyone in our offices views the guests we serve as extended family and wants to make sure this trip ends up being all it can be! Thanks again for considering us and if you do come know we can't wait to see you at the Beach! -Mark and co.
