Great location to Flamands, Gustavia, St Jean etc in a quiet / off the beaten path neighborhood. Well equipped for breakfast and lunches. Staff was very accommodating and helpful, would highly recommend.
We had a wonderful time .. The villa was amazing and Pierre was most helpful. We enjoyed the French Pastries brought to our villla every morning. If you are looking for a place to stay on St Bartâs this villa will not disappoint you .
We so enjoyed our stay at Ti Lama. Serena helped us so much with check in and during our stay. The villa was just as described and the croissants delivered each morning were such a nice treat! Would definitely recommend having a car as the neighborhood is residential, which we enjoyed as a nice hideaway from the hustle and bustle.
We really loved this villa's style and the location is perfect. It's close to town, the airport, and 3 great beaches (Colombier via hike; Flamands and St Jean via short drive). The pool deck provides shade and privacy, and both rooms are air conditioned and comfortable. The daily delivery of pastries to our kitchen while we slept late was wonderful (like a croissant chocolat fairy slips in with a gift!), and the daily friendly housekeeping service around 11am was a treat, too.
You are tucked up in a quiet residential neighborhood, at the end of a steep road, with a view of the distant ocean, a valley with a tennis court (hardly used in July), and a hard working man that cuts stones by hand on the hill most days that we loved to watch from a distance (not loud).
The kitchen is simple (more like a guest cottage than a full villa), so if you like to cook, you'll need spices, oil, etc. We used the outdoor grill many times. You'll also need to purchase water for drinking, and the island was mostly out of ice during our visit. July was very slow, and many days too hot and windy on our favorite beaches, plus the sargassum was a bummer in several spots. The roads are under construction in several areas, which requires short waits for the 1 open lane. Not a big deal in off season, of course. The upside was our time in this sweet villa, so thank you for sharing it.
I don't hesitate to recommend it. Merci!
Lovely little villa- perfect for a couple or small family. Celebrated my Bday here and it was great. Pierre did everything to make our stay enjoyable, including daily delivery of fresh croissants! What could be better! Coming back next year.
We found Villa Ti Lama most comfortable and furnished in good taste. It is divided into two buildings - bedroom/bathroom and living room/kitchen. There is a lovely ocean view across the plunge pool from the covered patio. We look for a king size bed, a stall shower, and quiet, all of which are available here. There was post-hurricane hammering and sawing in the area but not intrusive, and sure to abate. The property is at the end of what is really an extended driveway so there is virtually no traffic. Light sleepers will want to use ear plugs for the early-crowing neighborhood rooster. A bonus was the nespresso machine and Pierre's early morning (non-intrusive) delivery of croissants and baguettes. Pierre was also most helpful with restaurant reservations and responded quickly to texts. The TV was out (post-hurricane), so if this is important, check. We would happily return and have no hesitation recommending Ti Lama.
