Great house - roomy, well stocked. Close to nice public beach, whistle stop - also close to train if that bothers you but we enjoyed it all.

We stayed for a girls weekend - and absolutely loved it! The house was perfect for us! We said the pictures didn’t even show how nice it was. The location was amazing! Easy walk to the beach, coffee and local restaurants. If we find ourselves back in the area we will definitely stay here again. Only one small issue it may be helpful to have the key pad instructions sent with the code. It might have been just us but we had trouble getting in the first time - we did have the owners number but figured it out before calling! Overall highly recommend!

The layout was wonderful for our girls weekend, and it was very clean. The location was perfect! The host was very responsive via message - but be aware much of the communication (documents for renal agreement, check-in info) will be sent via email. My one complaint that there was definitely a very strong smell (wet dot/musty) in the home - which was surprising given no animals are allowed at this listing. Was unable to get rid of it despite keeping windows/doors with screens open. Did not bother my allergies thankfully, but worth noting.

Thanks for your feedback. Yes we communicate via email which includes the rental agreement, check in and check out instructions. We also use the app for regular communication. Guests are also welcome to call us as well. We have never in 6 years of having this home has anyone mentioned a moldy/musty smell. We will investigate but has never been a comment we've heard before.

Perfect location for our planned activities for the long weekend. A short walk to the beautiful, clean beach and downtown Union Pier. Just the right amount of space for our family!

Just Beachy is Just Peachy (sorry, couldn't help it!)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This probably the 4th or 5th time we've stayed at Just Beachy in Union Pier, and it never disappoints. The house is clean, well-provisioned, efficiently laid out, and super convenient to the beach, dining, and shopping - which are all just a short stroll away. There have been some nice upgrades to the house and grounds recently, which is much appreciated. The locale is quiet and private. If you're concerned about the proximity to Red Arrow or the train, don't be - both traffic and train noise are inconsequential. It's a wonderful rental, managed by a great team that are extremely easy to work with and communicative. I've never had any problems or issues with the management - dealing with them is the proverbial "Lake Michigan" breeze! We'll be back...

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our fifth year staying at just beachy. We love the layout of the house. Everyone can have their own space if needed. Outdoor screened porch was great after a day at the beach coming home to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. Five minute walk to the beach does back onto the red arrow highway and that doesn’t bother us. We do enjoy hearing the trains go by. New owners of the house upgrades Were comfortable bedding, lovely landscaping at the back new fire pit area and we love the outdoor shower. Quiet beach area. Walking to restaurants, bakery, convenience store. We will definitely be staying here again until we outgrow the house. Management companies is very responsive.

This property was lovely. The home is well kept and updated. The location could not be beat. We walked to the beach a few times a day. You're close to everything but at the same time feel like you're away from it all. We would stay again! Thank you for sharing your home.

High school girls weekend

Absolutely perfect! Comfortable, homey, clean, and just right for our reunion of high school friends. Plenty of room and great location. Decor is gorgeous. Loved the walks on the beach, deer outside our window, the peace and quiet, the beautiful trees sheltering the home, etc. Everything A+! Thank you!

The location is quiet and an easy walk to Whistle Stop cafe, Red Arrow Roadhouse and downtown Union Pier. It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach, which doesn’t get crowded even on weekends. This was our second year staying at Just Beachy.
