The house was beautiful nice and clean ,great eater pressure in the shower. Hot tub was great, nice gas bbq as well. The hosts stopped by and were very nice to talk with. Great location ,lots of amenities near by.

Great vacation home

We enjoyed our months visit at this vacation home. We had a great many TV Chanel’s, great washer and dryer, fabulous location in Scottsdale, the managers were very accommodating. We highly recommend this rental.

The host really went out of her way to make us feel at home. After learning that we played MahJongg, she secured a set for us to use during our visit. The back patio is a relaxing oasis and the property is conveniently located to a variety of hikes as well as upscale shops. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property and it’s gracious host.

Great Scottsdale stay

This is a really well-cared for home in a nice Scottsdale neighborhood. Terrific Mountain Views and awesome neighborhood community center. Very gracious host and good experience.

Host was fantastic and easy to communicate with. Property was in excellent condition with all amenities, in a quiet neighborhood featuring paved trails and a heated community pool/hot tub. Hulu with Live TV was a bonus.

Quiet neighborhood, close to WestWorld

We stayed here while working at Arizona Bike Week, the location is super close to WestWorld. Very Convenient, quiet neighborhood and relaxing hot tub. The owner was super friendly and helpful. The house is just what we needed!

Rachelle was the best host I’ve ever had! She was so thoughtful and her communication was top notch!! She took time to buy some special treats for us and she even came over to introduce herself and to make sure we had settled in ok. I’ve never seen a host care so much!

Great

Great location to hiking and Scottsdale. Beds were so comfortable and hot tub was added bonus. Quiet neighborhood. Our host was so nice being available if we needed anything and provided extra snacks coffee etc! Overall a great house and location to see Phoenix Scottsdale area and for us hiking.

Perfect home base, away from home

This property was exactly what we needed while we were visiting extended family at a distance during the holidays - a clean, nicely equipped home, in a quiet neighborhood, close to shops and trails of North Scottsdale. The owner had great communication with us leading up to and during our stay; she was so attentive to our needs. Relaxing in the hot tub was the icing on top! We definitely recommend this property and hope to stay here again.

The host was very pleasant to work with. she presented us with some snacks and drinks when we arrived great communication the house was very clean beds were very comfortable I would give a 10 out of 10 and definitely would love to stay there again.

Perfect vacation!

Everything about the home was perfection from the great location to the home itself to the super responsiveness of the owners from the time we made our reservations until our departure. Loved the community pool and playground just a short walk from the house. Did mountain biking and hiking right out our front door. Home was best supplied VRBO we’d ever stayed in from the bedding to pool towels to the Keurig with coffee to our own hot tub. Definitely recommend!

McDowell Mountain

The location was great. The property was clean. Our only comment is that it was a little pricey for what it was. It was our first VRBO. I learned a lot about the process. The hostess was great and very responsive.

Everything We Were Promised and More

We recently stayed at this fabulous home, and Rachelle delivered on everything she promised and more. Hot tub was perfect after long hours on the golf course, and the neighborhood is clean, quiet, and full of amenities. The house was clean, the toiletries were top of the line, and the beds were comfy. We will definitely make this our first choice the next time we visit Scottsdale.

Everything about this was great!

We loved Rachelle's home! It was at the end of a vacation traveling throughout Arizona having stayed at 2 other properties, and was by far the best. Rachelle was a thoughtful and gracious host who made a special effort to ensure all our needs were met. From a personalized welcome letter and flowers to the spa-like bath supplies and refrigerator stocked with beverages, breakfast foods and snacks, she thought of everything! The immaculate home was open and spacious with comfortable beds for our family of 5 adults. Located in a well-maintained neighborhood with a beautiful community center and convenient to everything we wanted to do and see. We would highly recommend! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Overall nice and comfortable, with a couple of notes

Overall comfortable, pleasant home in a quiet family neighborhood. Hot tub right out the back door is very nice. The beds were comfortable. Having access to the nearby community center is a huge plus. If you have kids, there is a nice playground there, and a pool. The main drawback was that the kitchen was poorly equipped. So if you like to do a lot of cooking, keep that in mind. Specifically, there were no chefs knives, or even any large chopping knives of any kind - all small parking knives. There was also only one small cutting board and one baking sheet. And finally, all of the pans were non stick. so nothing heavier duty which you may want depending on your needs. But if you keep that in mind, and plan accordingly, then you'll be all set.

I was quite surprised by this review. The home is well equipped with kitchenware which none of my (21) 5-star reviewers have ever taken issue. If the guest had asked me for additional items I could have accommodated, but he never did. Rather than thanking us for the full fridge of starter food and drinks we left for their party of 5, we were repaid with a full trash can left in the house rather than taken to the bin, an unflushed toilet filled with excrement, and a dirty diaper hidden under the bathroom cabinet which they claim was placed there by their baby?? Unreal. And then asked me why I gave only 1-star for cleanliness...They also didn't follow house rules by covering the hot tub when not in use, which caused ample debris and strain on the pump. Very inconsiderate to say the least.

McDowell Mountain Ranch Home

Lovely home in a great neighborhood. We made use of the hot tub, and the community swimming pool. Close to many trails, great for hiking, birdwatching, and seeing other wildlife. We enjoyed our month long stay, and hope we can return sometime soon.

Perfect place, location and wonderful hostess

This is a beautiful home that is nicely decorated, private and close to several hiking trails. Rachelle was very organized and gracious providing us with "extras" to welcome us to her warm home. We enjoyed coffee, breakfast items and a personalized cake to honor an achievement of a family member. The hot tub was a nice bonus in the private back yard. She cares and it shows! If you want a guaranteed wonderful experience, stay here!
