My family enjoyed our stay cause we were together. Cleanliness of house did not met my standards. Dishwasher flooded kitchen at first use. No response after messaging owner. Dishes were washed by hand, dried with paper towels as only one drying tea towel. This house sleeps 9. Only 5 chairs for high top table. 6 forks in kitchen. No directions for leaving house so we just followed instructions from other rentals.
We had a great time staying at the Victorian Center. The host was communicative and gave us a heads up about an issue inside so we knew what to expect prior to arriving. They had plenty of linens, towels, and everything else you would need to stay for a few days. This house is way bigger than pictures can perceive and itâs a beautiful house on a quiet street! Just what we were needing!
A beautiful old home. Very clean and comfortable. Extremely convenient to everything we had planned for the weekend. Definitely a place we would reserve again.
Older, but beautiful house. Plenty of space for our group of four teen girls and two moms for a girls trip to the Bourbon and Beyond festival. Wonderful host who was very responsive and helpful! Cute area! Would definitely stay here again!
Overall very clean and in a great neighborhood. Cons- the beds are hard and very loud any time you move. The bathroom downstairs is super small. The shower was hardly big enough for one person to stand in. Outside of those things, I had a great experience.
Great home located across the river. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms with a sitting room in the master suite. Linens, utensils, dishes, cookware, and towels provided. Wonderful porch for sitting. The house was not clean. The baseboards and fireplace mantels had not been cleaned in some time and the upstairs bathroom shower floor was black. The shower almost flooded until we unclogged the drain.
Beautiful rooms and furnishings, fireplaces in every room that would have been used long ago.
Everything we needed for us, adult children and grandchildren
Our host was very accommodating on letting us know when we could drop off our luggage and food. The house was beautiful on the inside and the master bathroom went on forever!! My only recommendation is to have more seating in the living area and the dining room. There was 5 of us and we could not all sit at the high top table because there were only 4 chairs. Otherwise, we loved the house!!
We were in town for a basketball event at Louisville expo center. This was an ideal location close to everything but away from the clutter. Host was great would stay here again.
Rented this property for Thunder 2023. Property manager was easy to work with and the property was as advertised. Very combienient foe Thunder! Would absolutely rent again!
We had a nice time, and the place was good for what we needed. It is an old, creaky house and some of the renovations seem to have been done hastily (bedroom doors don't have working door knobs and don't latch shut, for example). The only complaints would be that it wasn't very clean when we arrived, and there's not enough seating given the size of the house. For a house that sleeps 9 with 6 beds, a four chair dining table and seating for four in the living room seemed insufficient. But we had a nice time and enjoyed our Thanksgiving. The location is nice for walking down by the river, to the little downtown of Jeffersonville, and even the pedestrian bridge over the river.
We are a Brother and SIster Team continuing our Family Legacy in Real Estate set forth by our Father. We have always worked together as a Family and when our Dad, passed we carried the tradition on. We hope our children learn from us as we did our Dad and can continue on the legacy one day. They are too young right now!
This home was purchased by a very dear friend of the family and her mother. Together they began an extensive remodeling project as this home is almost 100 years old. We do not know the exact age as records were lost in a fire in the early 20's. Many of the items in the house are original and are dated as early as the 1860's. When our Friend's mother passed, she decided to sell and offered the home to us first. We took it! We remodeled some more and decided to offer it to Others to enjoy as well. We hope you love it as much as we do.
