Situé sur la côte d'or de l'île de Bainbridge, Pleasant Beach. Détendez-vous dans la baignoire sur pattes ou lisez un livre sur le porche couvert. Profitez de draps en coton de haute qualité, avec peignoirs et serviettes. Promenez-vous sur la plage pour trouver des agates, des sables, des coquillages, des pygargues à tête blanche, des hérons, des loutres et des phoques. Étendez une serviette de plage et profitez du soleil chaud et des vagues qui clapotent contre le rivage. Super vélo et randonnée directement devant la porte d'entrée. Une promenade facile à votre latte et boulangerie du matin, restaurants, marché de quartier de Walt, The Historic Lynwood Theatre, ainsi que les nouveaux magasins et restaurants de Pleasant Beach Village. Perfect weekend getaway

This is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway on Bainbridge. Waterfront with beach access, close to a quaint little town (Lynwood Center) with all the necessities, and only 10 minutes from the ferry. The cottage is cozy, clean, well-decorated, and has a spectacular view. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Diane went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Highly recommend!

Lovely cottage

Lovely stay at this cottage. We enjoyed short walk to Lynwood center for breakfast, and longer walk to Fort Ward. Picturesque view of water with lots of birds and water fowl.The main drawback was the loud road noise when a car drove by. The cottage is close to the road and the noise was loud enough to wake me up.

I wish I could live there forever!

This cottage was perfect in every way. Nearby a little shopping area but totally private. Huge rear yard area which was perfect for our little dog to run about but not near the road. Everything inside was top notch (bed, sofa, dining table, kitchen) and lots of nice little touches. I hope we can return some day...when the weather is nice :)

What a great place to experience the peacefulness of Bainbridge for the weekend! Walking distance to restaurants, a wonderful bakery and small grocery store. Diane was wonderful and accommodated us last minute. Thank you!

Slice of heaven

10/10 stay and experience! From the moment we walked in to when we left, it could not have been a more pleasant stay -- very clean, comfortable and has everything you might want. The views from the home are breathtaking and you can easily walk to get food / coffee in town! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you Diane for such a special getaway weekend!

Lovely Beach Cottage

We had a lovely time in this cute, old-style, rustic cottage. The bed and overall decor were comfortable and cozy and the view magnificent. Maybe the only negative for us was that the cottage is right on the road and it was a bit noisy during morning and afternoon commute hours. But all in all we had a good stay.

Step back in time at this darling beach bungalow!

Our stay at the smaller of the two Pleasant Beach Cottages provided a really fun contrast to our own VRBO cabin in Montana! Salish Sea v. Clark Fork River, a "Sweep-out Cottage" v. Log Cabin, a very short walk to good restaurants and groceries v. driving to get almost anywhere. The cottage harkens back to a far simpler era of waterfront homes. Not many of these quaint little cottages are still around but surely many once existed. It was great to be able to experience it as a place my grandparents might once have stayed. However the cottage is more comfortable than anything of its era! It has a good bed, pleasant bathroom, and well-equipped kitchen with a new fridge. We truly enjoyed our time there. We walked the beach at low tide and viewed the newer "fancy" homes and found shards of well-eroded iron as well as well-scratched Ray-Bans. Highlights were the Mexican restaurant (both nights) and The Bloedel Reserve. Bloedel is such an amazing experience. We were there 2 1/2 hours and I wish we'd had more time. Also the Kitsap transit system made going carfree carefree! Once we figured it out it was super easy and remarkably inexpensive. Scheduled BI buses are coordinated with ferry times and there is also on-demand bus service. Our bus took us straight from the ferry landing to the property. Thanks Diane for a very special experience!

Perfect Anniversary Getaway

The Pleasant Beach cottage was great for a weekend getaway! You can't beat the location- walking distance to several restaurants and a short drive to the ferry and several hiking trails. The cottage was perfect for two of us and was stocked everything we needed for the weekend. Host was very responsive and provided lots of recommendations for places to visit.

Cozy! Perfect get-away

A wonderfully sweet little cottage complete with a beach and front porch. It was a quiet, peaceful place with good hiking nearby. The kitchen had everything we needed. I struggled with the bed's mattress (too soft for me), but my 6'2" husband had no problems. The clawfoot bathtub is heavenly!!

The Perfect Beach Cottage

If you want a true beach town experience, in a cottage with a unimpeded and constantly-diverting bay view, this is your spot. It is about 20 yards from the water, and a 5-minute walk to “town.” It is nothing fancy, but it has everything you need. Pleasant Beach/Lynwood is a true BI community, not at all like Winslow’s hordes of people. There are several restaurants, including a great Mexican spot, with real Mexican food, and a small grocery for things you forgot to bring. And, I can’t say enough good things about our host. She was a gem.

Peaceful & darling vintage beach house

This one-room cottage was perfect for this couple. The one-week minimum stay yielded an immediately relaxing & spacious feel to our time at Pleasant Beach. Favorites were our morning walk along the beach, one way or the other; returning along the road. And then our evening walk just down the street to the liveliness of Lynnwood Center, restaurants, shops, a well-stocked small market, bakery, even a movie theatre! In addition to the cozy interior, outdoor spaces were inviting - the porch, the teak(?) table & chairs, the chaise lounges down on the lawn.

Weekend Getaway

Wonderful location and stay! Could walk to the Village in minutes and enjoy the Marketplace, the wine bar (which has live piano on Mondays) and the bakery for breakfast! Loved the view and the front lawn that leads you to the beach where we had several great walks. Great stay!

Beautiful Property - Great Host

This provided for a perfect little getaway for my wife and me. The cottage has all the amenities to make it feel like home and there is a gorgeous view of the water. It was also great being within walking distance of restaurants. The host was very responsive to all of our questions! Looking forward to staying here again.

Charming Beach Cottage

My husband and I had a relaxing getaway at this charming beach cottage. We particularly enjoyed watching the water, boats and birds while sitting on the porch. The cottage was just as described, had everything we needed, and is in an excellent location.

Amazing Spot

The cottage was perfect for my solo trip. A perfect home base to explore the island and at the end of the day jump in the water and relax. Diane was very helpful and responsive and very welcoming. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

we found these cottages and the location reminiscent of cape cod where we grew up - "sweep out" cottages, great for a romantic get-away or piling the whole family in. We love the location, warm in the summer protected from the northern winds, southwestern exposure for lovely sunsets. We like being able to walk 1 block to the movie theatre, bakery/deli, morning latte, 3 restaurants and a small grocery store. Our favorite activities include hiking and biking from the cottages.
