Yurt along the river with mountain views

I loved this property and am even thinking of purchasing a yurt for a property I own on the east coast. Our host was great with lots of local info that made the trip even better.

Peaceful Getaway

I took my wife here for her 40th birthday because she has always wanted to stay in a yurt, and this exceeded our expectations. The location is very private and cozy. We will be back again!

Perfectly Private

What a gem of a place! The private yurt with the outdoor kitchen made living outside a bliss. The river and summer fireflies took our breath away. An absolute oasis, and the hosts are magnificent!

Loved everything about the yurt and the location by the river and all the accommodations. Highly recommend! Very private and amazing area for our dog! Recommend a visit to the Big B's Orchard it was amazing! Easy 40 minute drive to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison North Rim. Beautiful canyon views and hiking trails. George was the perfect host!

Wonderful experience! Set at the edge of the North Fork of the Gunnison this is one the special places to stay anywhere in Colorado! If you like the idea of glamping with all the amenities plus then you are in for a treat! George is an amazing host too! The Grove Yurt at River Run is better than priceless! It’s magnificent!

The Grove Yurt was wonderful! My partner and I had such a relaxing stay. We enjoyed breakfast by the river, hit up Big Bs, and made a fire every night before bed. We love Paonia and hope to be back! PS - The fresh cut flowers on our table were such a thoughtful touch. 3

Wonderful location with a beautiful setup, views, and attractions. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. The cool evenings really make it’s way into the Yurt so sleeping was no issue even with the hot days 😌

Great Outdoor Stay with Amazing Amenities

This is a great place for a getaway during the summer. The yurt was super clean and had tons of comforts. Bed was great. They provided everything for you and so we had overpacked a bit. Outdoor kitchenette, grill, firewood and pit, chairs, outhouse/porta potty, every kind of tool you would need, a small outbuilding with a shower, sink and toilet. The river right next to us was great(the dog jumped in to cool down) and the orchard nearby had a live music concert with food, ciders, and beer. We had a great time and the hosts were amazing.

It was very clean and very charming I especially loved the fresh flowers. It was a peaceful beautiful place to stay and I’ll go back whenever I can. George and Devon were very kind and accommodating! I didn’t want to leave! The shower house was wonderful and I enjoyed visiting with both George and d Devon. They had the yurt stocked with everything you could need and the books were awesome abd the games and puzzles were great. I loved the little sitting areas around the yurt a d the flowers and native grasses etc were very thoughtfully placed avd all the metal sculptures were charming I loved it there and so did both my dogs!

Fun Experience with beautiful views

Loved the property and beautiful views. Very relaxing setup and we had the whole place to ourselves all weekend (there are other nearby tipi, yurt, and campsites on the property. I’d recommend bringing additional lighting with you such as candles, lanterns, flashlights ect as there was very minimal on the property and you’ll definitely need those once the sun goes down. I’d recommend bringing your own drinking water as well!

I absolutely loved everything about this glamping adventure. I will for sure be back. The yurt was beautiful. Trails fabulous with all the eclectic artwork scattered about. Even loved the composting toilet trailer. Place is awesome.

Beautiful Getaway

A wonderful stay and relaxing getaway. Yurt was very charming and comfortable and the property is just amazing. Nice host and next door there is a really cool orchard with live music and food. Very relaxing place to stay.
