Cette maison de style cottage anglais de 3 chambres / 2 salles de bain charmante et confortable mais élégante est exactement ce que vous recherchez! Située dans le quartier recherché du nord-est de Pasadena, cette maison parle de confort et de chaleur dès l'instant où vous franchissez la porte d'entrée. Le salon est spacieux avec beaucoup de fenêtres et une cheminée à bois. La salle à manger formelle a une belle table pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes et possède des portes françaises menant au charmant porche en brique - un endroit parfait pour déguster un verre de limonade tout en admirant la vue sur la montagne. Le coin cuisine est ensoleillé et lumineux et un endroit merveilleux pour prendre votre café du matin. La buanderie est idéalement située à côté de la cuisine. Il y a 2 ch à la fois avec des lits queen size et une 3ème chambre agit comme une salle den / tv avec 55 'à écran plat Smart TV avec Direct TV ont de belles portes françaises qui mènent à la charmante terrasse. Il y a un canapé-lit queen qui peut accueillir 2 personnes. Recevoir est un délice car l'arrière-cour a un patio en brique parfait pour manger en plein air et un jardin luxuriant avec des arbres fruitiers, des roses, 2 orangers, des citronniers et des grenadiers et un merveilleux avocatier! Maison est livré avec un système d'alarme de sécurité, jardinier, wi-fi, DirectTV (payé par le propriétaire) tous les appareils - laveuse, sécheuse, lave-vaisselle, élimination, micro-ondes, cuisinière, réfrigérateur sont également inclus. Le propriétaire couvre également tous les services publics: gaz, électricité et eau. (Un plafond par jour est fixé) Grands sentiers de randonnée, bons restaurants à Pasadena et à proximité de la région d'Altadena. Bienvenue à la maison!

La vieille ville de Pasadena et le Rose Bowl ne sont qu'à quelques minutes ... À quelques minutes de l'entrée du 210 Fwy. Los Angeles est à 10 miles au sud sur l'autoroute 110, les plages sont à 25 miles au sud et à l'ouest. 20 minutes de l'aéroport de Burbank.
Près de CalTech (2 miles!) et les célèbres jardins Huntington, à 15 minutes de l'hippodrome de Santa Anita et de l'arboretum de Los Angeles. Nous sommes à seulement 8 km de l'hôpital Huntington et de la clinique HRC. À 12 minutes du JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory) et à seulement 11 km de l'Art Center College of Design. L'hôtel de ville et le centre de conventions de Pasadena sont également à seulement 6,5 km.

Il y a aussi une station de métro de Los Angeles à moins d'un demi-mile de distance (l'arrêt Allen sur la Gold Line) à distance de marche.

We had a great stay at Marla’s charming home in Pasadena. Needed a short term refuge as a result of displacement from the fire and Marla’s home had everything we needed to make our stay easy and comfortable! She was also so easy to communicate with and very welcoming and hospitable. Lovely quiet neighborhood in a great location with easy access to all we needed in Pasadena/Altadena. Wonderful property with a great host!

Weekend getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. I’m sorry we didn’t have more time to spend there. The whole place was very comfortable and beautifully restored. We live in a 1920’s house and love older homes. Marla did such a nice job with keeping so many of the original details while at the same time updating the important parts. The roses were in full bloom and lovely, as was the sweet smelling jasmine. Thank you for a quiet and comfortable place to lay our heads after a busy day.

Best Stay Ever!

What can we say that has not already been said?! This home is beyond beautiful and located in a gorgeous neighborhood! As for the lovely Miss Marla, such a wonderful and caring lady! We loved everything about our stay and could not have asked for a better host! My mother, sister and I will always cherish the time we spent here together! It was great waking up, having our coffee, going for walks before heading out then knowing we'd be coming back to such a beautiful, tranquil and safe place to rest. Thank you for having us!

First I’d like to say thank you to the owner for being so responsive and communicating quickly. Secondly, the house, she went out of her way to make the house very cozy, the fridge was stocked, extremely clean, fresh flowers in almost every room. Amazing job!

Just like home--maybe better...

Marla had everything to make our stay as easy as possible. Arrival was super easy and the keyless entry meant we didn't have to worry about carrying (or losing) the key. Since we arrived late, she anticipated we wouldn't have time to shop and had a few breakfast essentials in the fridge. The furniture was all comfortable, towels plentiful and Marla herself was incredibly responsive to any questions. And unlike at home, we didn't run low on toilet paper... Thank you

Beautiful Home & Fabulous Host!

What an amazing rental experience! This home is even more beautiful than the photos, is in a lovely neighborhood with well kept homes, has a great view towards the mountains, and there are parrots in the street trees! The furniture is all super comfy and there is a lovely patio and garden out back. Our dog loved it too! The host is by far the best we have experienced. Breakfast items, fruit, and an amazingly good avocado were left in the fridge for us. As we were there for Easter, there was cute Easter decor and baskets of candy - yum! The kitchen has everything and there is a full pantry with anything else you might need. Tons of soaps and cleaning supplies and a fresh kitchen sponge too. The bathrooms are stocked with soaps and shampoos and other grooming essentials and all done in a super stylish way. What a way to vacay in my old home town - thank you!

A Home Away From Home

We enjoyed our stay at this warm, inviting home. Our flight to LAX was delayed. Marla was easy-to-reach and helpful. She left the lights on for us. The home is located in a safe, historic neighborhood on a tree-lined street. It is a classic California cottage-style home with modern amenities. When we arrived, a sitting porch welcomed us. It opened to a stylishly decorated living room with a fireplace and a view of the San Gabriel mountains. A spacious dining room connects the living room and kitchen. Vases of fresh flowers were a nice touch. The kitchen is well-equipped. I appreciated this since I like to cook. Breakfast items were in the refrigerator. There was a kitchen nook with a coffee bar, a pleasant spot for dining. Sleeping was quiet and comfortable. There was ample closet space. It can sometimes be difficult to figure out an unfamiliar TV, but not here; there were instructions for each remote and we had no problems. I noticed that the TV room closet was filled with games and puzzles. The TV room has French doors that open to the backyard. The backyard is like a private oasis complete with lemon, avocado, and orange trees. The back patio has comfortable seating, a perfect spot to relax with a cocktail. This charming home exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully stocked. Marla is a gracious host. The location is fabulous! It is a great home base for exploring Pasadena. For us, it was a wonderful place to visit with family. If you are looking for a special place to stay, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND this home.

Just a wonderful experience, from start to finish. Marla is one of the best hosts we have met in all our travels, friendly, responsive and has thought of everything she could to make our stay more comfortable. The cottage was immaculate and indeed charming, decorated in a vintage style befitting a home in the "Bungalow Heaven" neighborhood of Pasadena, where I read that the craftsman homes there have earned a spot on the National Register of Historic Places! The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We especially loved the patio accessed through French doors, surrounded by Marla's beautiful rose gardens. We were in the area visiting our new grandson, and hope to return to this rental many times in the future!

Clean, quiet, roomy, nicely furnished, abundantly supplied and amenitized! Owner was very kind and communicative. The kitchen has everything. We were 3 adults and a 1 year-old so backyard (with fruit trees!) was a plus as was the playground within walking distance. Really felt like home here!

A wonderful place to stay in Pasadena.

Marla was a wonderful host. She provides some breakfast items and a fairly well stocked pantry. She was attentive to our needs and even had fans shipped from Amazon since there was a major heatwave and the ac was having an issue. I highly recommend this property.

Very beautiful complete home in quiet neighborhood

We stayed at this beautiful home for eight days with my family to attend my daughter’s college graduation. This home is complete with all amenities and much more beautiful than described on VRBO. Marla is very helpful. We needed shower chair and mini food grinder for my mom and she arranged it on very short notice. I would like to stay in this home when visiting Pasadena in future.

I am a very easy going, outgoing and relaxed person…I consider myself to be a very positive person and love surrounding myself with beautiful things…I love my garden and take pride in my numerous rose bushes and fruit trees…Spring is my favorite time of year when everything in the garden is new and in bloom.

I grew up in San Diego…but left at 20 to live and work in London.
I ended up traveling all over Europe and was in London for about 4 years.
I then moved to Vancouver, Canada to attend film school…and moved to LA…I have been here for almost 20 years and I love it. I know lots of hidden treasures and fun places to go off the beaten path here in LA and Pasadena and would love to share my city knowledge with people visiting from out of town. I know what it’s like to take a trip and be away from the creature comforts of home…and I would really like my home to provide you all the comforts and luxury of being in a true home so it's makes your trip all that much more fun and relaxing.

I love the outdoors and love hiking, sailing, stand up paddle most of all, I am avid bicyclist. I did a 100 mile ride to raise money for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Foundation a few years ago and I got hooked!
There's a great ride from my house down to The Rose then it's 3.2 miles around the of fun! There's also many wonderful hiking trails here in the San Gabriel Mountains to explore..
I work in film editing and have worked for numerous popular tv series like Ray Donovan, Preacher, Desperate Housewives, Bates Motel, etc… I am also a entrepreneur and am working on an app - hope to have it in the App Store soon…Very Exciting!!

I love meeting new people from all over the world and look forward to a wonderful experience on airbnb.

My home is a perfect example of what makes Pasadena such a unique and charming town. The neighborhood is quiet and serene with wonderful mountain views and yet close to everything that Pasadena and the surrounding areas has to offer.

Old Town Pasadena and The Rose Bowl are just a few minutes away... Just minutes to the 210 Fwy entrance. Los Angeles is 10 miles south on the 110 Freeway, the beaches are 25 miles south and west. 20 minutes from the Burbank Airport.
Close to CalTech (2 miles!) and the famous Huntington Gardens, 15 minutes from Santa Anita racetrack and Los Angeles Arboretum. We are only 5 miles from the Huntington Hospital and the HRC Clinic. 12 minutes to JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory) and just 7 miles to Art Center College of Design. The Pasadena City Hall and Convention Center is also only 4 miles away....

There is also a Los Angeles Metro station less than half a mile away (the Allen stop on the Gold Line)within walking distance.
