Rustique, Ă  couper le souffle, calme et serein! Le rĂȘve du Colorado! SAUNA, HOT TUB, FIRE-PIT!
Nous sommes beaucoup plus proches que les lacs Red Feather, oĂč les routes ne sont pas entretenues et parfois dangereuses.
Ce n'est pas une piÚce à l'intérieur de la place de quelqu'un d'autre. comme la plupart des autres offrent. Il s'agit de votre propre cabine de 148 ans, privée, historique et entiÚrement rénovée. Vous n'entendrez personne tousser, éternuer ou siffler pour préparer votre petit-déjeuner!
Nous savons que vous apprécierez notre chalet familial restauré de 148 ans avec les meilleures vues de ce cÎté des Rocheuses! Lorsque vous dßnez au West Sunroom avec ses baies vitrées de 8 x 12, vous admirerez la chaßne des momies et le parc national des Montagnes Rocheuses. Nous avons construit cette salle en pensant aux clients!
Les logements sont trÚs confortables avec un lit double Serta dans un cadre Aspen, un four micro-ondes, un réfrigérateur de la taille d'un dortoir, le sauna Finlea dans votre cabine, le Majestic Twilight Master Spa (bain à remous) à quelques pas et 3 foyers à feu également! Belles zones pour s'asseoir, regarder la vie sauvage, les oiseaux ou la randonnée!
L'activité céleste la nuit sans lampadaires est phénoménale. Il n'est pas rare de voir des pluies de météores et des étoiles filantes pendant votre séjour. Il y a aussi la chaleur et l'air conditionné si vous en avez besoin.
Rien d'extraordinaire, mais isolé, privé, propre et beau.

Pas de téléviseur, magnétoscope ou lecteur DVD. mais excellent satellite WIFI HAUTE VITESSE si vous avez besoin de votre propre appareil.

Juste la paix et la tranquillitĂ© pour les temps d'arrĂȘt et la relaxation suprĂȘme. DĂ©branchez-vous au son de notre ruisseau, du grand-duc d'AmĂ©rique, des coyotes et de la nature. Le "son du silence" est vraiment un luxe Ă  l’heure actuelle.
Petit dĂ©jeuner copieux servi pour les deux premiers matins Ă  8h. m. dans la belle vĂ©randa de notre cabane en rondins! Eggs Benedict et Eggs Rancheros et la garantie d'ĂȘtre le meilleur que vous aurez jamais puisque je suis un cuisinier gastronomique. Je suis aussi un CMT pour que vous puissiez rĂ©server un massage aussi! Ce sera mon plus grand plaisir de vous accueillir!

The cabin and surrounding property are very beautiful, and the host was kind and responsive. We had a peaceful stay overall.That said, the cabin was more cluttered than what was shown in the listing photos, which differed from our expectations. We also found that the propane on the grills was empty, and we were unable to get the electric kettle to work during our stay. This was just a little disappointing given the price point of this listing. Overall, it’s a lovely location with a welcoming host, but we felt some aspects of the listing did not fully reflect the experience. With a bit more alignment between the listing and the on-site experience, it could be even better.

Our host was very kind and welcoming. The cabin was unique and historic. She very kindly allowed us to have a campfire in the evening and that was very special E-bike riding on the road and enjoying the views was a blast! House was warm. A good amount of bedding was provided. Unfortunately the house was much more cluttered than I would have liked. There was nowhere to open and place a suitcase. There were a very large number of decorative objects (including a few Christmas decorations), so much that there was no shelf space even for the few kitchen supplies provided and they mostly resided in a low bench in the kitchen. This would have been more handy if on a shelf or there was a proper cabinet in the living area and then the bench could be used for suitcase storage. The bedroom had a queen size bed up against the wall with a giant head and footboard that was lovely but to large for the space. A partner in the bed has to crawl over the other person to get out of the bed. The pillows were worn and flat. The outside of the house was also quite cluttered and many things sitting around outside with no organization or purpose, things like extra gas containers, hand weights, a ladder, a sink apparatus on the front porch which did not pump water (except manually), nor did the other sink in the yard. We did dishes in the bathroom sink. She is a nice lady and I just think the house needs a little sprucing up and it would be perfect.

We had an amazing stay here. We were in town for a family reunion weekend and found this little place that was perfectly located for us. What we weren’t ready for was everything else that we got. Hospitality and the little attention to detail that the hosts and this neat little place offers. The feel of the history of the area was captured in this old cabin. And we didn’t need much from our hosts but they were very hospitable and ready to attend to anything we would need. Communication was soo on point as was everything on the property made us feel welcome and special. I hadn’t been to Colorado in 20 years and this was my wife’s first trip, and even though we were only there for 3 days this cabin helped make our add to the fun-ness of the trip. Highly recommend staying here.

Dream vacation to unwind and de-stress

Breathtaking location. The family that owns the property are extremely friendly and offer a wide variety of amazing suggestions and add-ons to the package. The cabin is truly something spectacular and is extremely comfortable.Me and my wife had an absolute blast enjoying the scenery in Colorado and getting to come back and relax at the cabin and take in all the stargazing.We will definitely be going back in the winter for another couple's retreat. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to get away and unwind for a little bit.

A cowboy getaway

Wow!! Where do i start? From the time we requested the place to booking the cabin it was so easy. It was a geataway we hoped for for so long. We got to the cabin and the place was so rustic and dated to our liking. The farm was with chickens and a horse and the views were lpriceless. Thank you.

Nice place

I liked staying at the tranquil homestead. It is on a very pretty property, though about 25 feet from main home. The sauna and farm setting there were an awesome experience. The sparsely furnished cooking items were camp clean. I was surprised that I needed to clean flies out of the coffee pot, for example. The cabin itself is a mix of old and new, so hard to nail the feeling created there. It's cozy and charming in it's own way. While I enjoyed our stay, I thought it was quite expensive and was rubbed the wrong way the surprise mandatory insurance on checkout. I also wasn’t a fan of the numerous disclosures about what not to do as a guest, that creates a bit of tension in trying to enjoy the experience.

Beautiful

The cabin was nice and homey. Karen and Al were so friendly and were the first thing we were greated by after a 12 hour drive. Karen was very helpful over the phone answering any questions I had. Other than that I did not see much of them. There property is beautiful and I'm so glad we got to see it when it was raining as it made it even more a rare site for city people like myself and my partner. The hottub was a nice thing we used every night to relax after site seeing every day. It over all was a very relaxing and peaceful stay and I could not have asked for anything better.

Amazing Getaway!

We live in Loveland so this was a short weekend getaway for our anniversary. We had so much fun! The hosts are amazing and so accommodating. They had a beautiful breakfast spread for us and the hot tub was extremely clean and comfortable. The cabin is cozy, warm and clean. The bathroom was excellent with all the accommodations you could ever need! The 360 views are INCREDIBLE! Pictures do not do it any justice. Do not hesitate to stay here! We already can't wait to go back. Thank you Karen and Al! We will see you soon!

Beautiful stay!!

So thankful for this stay! For someone to open up there home and be so kind, what an experience. Couldn't ask for a better vacation. Being a nurse and my husband military this was peaceful, I have told friends and family about this place. So if you want coffee with a view an amazing egg Benedict, like shopping with amazing food, and a beautiful hike. It seriously has it all!

Breathtaking views and first class hospitality, can’t wait to go back again

Nice relaxing country cabin.

We were in the area for a wedding and choose to stay at the cabin for a little seclusion and relaxation from a hectic family wedding on a different ranch. It was nice to come back to the peace and quiet of the property and use the jacuzzi. The owners are very nice pleasant and were spot on with the breakfast recommendations for Verne’s in LaPorte.

Awesome place

We loved this cabin and we are glad we chose this one . Amazing area , we took a day just to go out and explore on bicycle the area and was so peaceful and relaxing just to go and seat on the few waterfall that Karen and Alan told us witch are super nice and very helpful host and Im glad we met them also . I had totally forgotten how beautiful the ski looks at night away from every street light . It was hard to get out the bed in the morning since the mattress were so comfortable. This was exactly what we were looking for a nice cozy cabin that we can just get away and enjoy a nice relaxing peaceful weekend . I just wish we could had stayed more days but I definitely will go back very soon . Thank you for everything Karen and Alen you guys are super . Hope to see you soon

Wonderful Stay in a Historic Cabin - Cross Creek Ranch is a Quintessential Colorado Experience

Cross Creek is such a beautiful ranch with tremendous views of the mountains, wonderful peace and quiet, and great amenities to enjoy. The lands itself is awesome, with the views all around, wildlife in abundance from Pronghorns to songbirds and birds of prey, Such beautiful sunsets. The night sky is particularly dramatic at this site, free of city lights. The hot tub is a very nice feature, located just a few steps away in the courtyard of main home. The sauna, located within the cabin is very nice to have access to as well. A brand new shower has been installed - great to cool off after the sauna. I had a good nights rest in the comfortable bed and I really enjoyed the eclectic western décor throughout the cabin. The hosts provide an outdoor barbeque which I took advantage of. High speed Wi-Fi is another useful amenity. I had a chance to visit with the hosts - a wonderful couple who very much enjoy sharing their beautiful land. There are several interesting hikes to do at the ranch and the ranch is also a great location for excursions to Fort Collins and the Red Feather Lakes area. Experience a historic. rustic 1880's pioneer cabin! Beauty and wildlife abound! Everyone's dream is to live on lots of land in a beautiful log cabin in Colorado, so we're living the dream! We wanted to share this with others and know you will love the privacy and "down-time" you'll be able to experience on many many acres.The place is vast and beautiful, peaceful and serene.

Vastness, breathtaking scenery, MANY birds, wildlife, sunsets, celestial activity, sounds of coyotes and great-horned owls! Tubing, kayaking, fishing welcome. Our place is rustic and unique!
Modern additions: new Copper infused, wrapped coil and member foam mattress (Corsincana) Double Mattress, (not a queen or king) Majestic twilight Master Spa, (Hot tub), Finnleo (Swedish) infra-red sauna, fire-pit, star gazing. (no city lights)
The birds, river and wildlife will astound you. It's not uncommon to see bald eagles, mountain blue birds, yellow finches, orioles, hummingbirds, and pronghorns on the land. We have bike rental available and now allow pets at $50 per pet!
Please ask about your pet before, as we need to approve it on a case-by-case basis and then send you the fee request.
Hiking on many acres without seeing a soul is pristine! Horseback riding is offered down the road at two different places, and our friends offer guided fishing tours on the Poudre River.
