Situé à Lake Placid, FL, magnifiquement rénové maison en A sur le lac Henry. C'est une escapade parfaite pour le canotage, la natation, la pêche, le kayak ou tout simplement pour se détendre en famille ou entre amis près du foyer. Profitez de la véranda, des vues sereines sur le lac, du barbecue, de la terrasse et du quai. Superbes vues sur le lac Henry depuis le porche, le pont ou le quai grillagé à l'arrière.

Dispose de 2 chambres avec un grand grenier et 2 salles de bain complètes. Le loft à l'étage dispose d'un lit queen-size et d'un futon pour 3 personnes. Une cuisine complète avec tous les éléments essentiels pour cuisiner. Salle à manger ouverte sur la cuisine, salon avec télévision par câble, wi-fi et buanderie avec laveuse / sécheuse pleine grandeur. Un endroit très tranquille et convivial pour profiter de vos vacances ou de votre escapade saisonnière!

Nous avons deux restaurants incroyables à distance de marche ... Jaxson's on the Lake et Dock 633. Un canot et des pédalos sont sur place, un quai pour la pêche ou la navigation de plaisance sur le lac Henry avec un accès limité au lac June, et un pont pour accrocher dans la cour arrière! Apportez votre propre bateau ou jet-skis. Profitez de votre café du matin ou de vos repas dans la grande véranda avec vue imprenable sur le lac. Rampes de bateau, pêche, golf et shopping à proximité.

Adventures on the lake.

Spent two days on the lake jet skiing and power boating. We went jet skiing, tubing, and knee boarding around the lake. We even took some other vacationers that were down the lake knee boarding. Needless to say, we met some very nice people around the lake and had a wonderful time. The house was very nice and comfortable to stay in. The dock was accommodating and the use of the canoe and kayaks was a lot of fun also. The house is close to restaurants and other lakes to explore. Wouldn't mind staying there again.

Our second time staying here and it was great!

My parents have a cottage on Lake June, so we have stayed here on Lake Henry (just down the road from my parents’ cottage) the past two Memorial Day weekends. It is the perfect house for my husband and our twin 5 year olds. Cute, clean, quaint, and with all the accommodations we need. Lake is great for skiing, fishing, or just letting the kids swim out front. Kayaks are an extra perk for the kids to enjoy too!

Wonderful stay

Awesome place and host. I usually don’t provide Vrbo reviews but was really impressed. Jodi is very thoughtful and clearly a pro. We were visiting family who live on lake june and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Would definitely choose this property if available on our next visit!

Lovely getaway on Lake Henry

My 13 year-old son and I stayed here for four days for a well-needed spring break getaway from a long Michigan winter. Jodi was an absolute pleasure to work with from the moment we requested a booking, answering all of my questions, doing some research for us, and providing a comprehensive list of recommendations for the area. We found the house to be immaculate and exactly as described. The beds were super comfortable and the house was fully stocked and equipped with everything we could have needed. Fresh new towels, too! Jodi left us a fire log and provided life jackets for the kayaks, beach towels, and fishing gear for my son. The lake is peaceful and beautiful, our week there was quiet and we felt like we had the lake to ourselves. The sunrises from the porch are a lovely way to start each day. Local amenities are close and plentiful—Publix is near, as are restaurants, a gas station, a boat launch, and local places for bait and tackle. There are cute shops in town to explore as well as the murals, making a stop and a stroll there worth your time. We rented a pontoon from Woohoo and found them to be as helpful and friendly as Jodi! We checked out the murals in town, ate at Jaxson’s and Main Street, walked the trails at Highlands Hammock State Park, kayaked, fished, and drove into Ft. Myers for a spring training game. If you want to keep busy with activities there is a lot to do, but plenty of reasons just to relax on the quiet dock and enjoy the warm sunshine, too. If you are looking for a truly peaceful getaway where you won’t be overrun by tourists and traffic, where you’ll meet friendly and generous locals who are eager to see you enjoy your stay, you’ve found it here at the Blue Oasis on Lake Henry. We can’t wait to come back!

Convenient change of scenery

This was my third stay and most enjoyable. Quaint home with outstanding lake view from inside home. Quiet non-thru street. Most surrounding homes are older well kept modest homes unlike the typical stucco homes now seen all over the state. Welcoming and responsive property manager.

Perfect lake escape!

We spent 3 nights at this beautiful cottage! Such a cute little A frame house, well appointed decor and very tranquil atmosphere. Jodi had everything we needed at the house and was very helpful during our stay. Gorgeous lake views, very clean house and perfect getaway location. We will be back soon!

Jodi was a great host. Our family was in town for our grandfathers funeral so we did not hang out at the house much but it provided a homey place to lay our heads at night!

Quaint and well appointed

Our second time at home. Everything you might need is provided. Quite street and surrounding neighbors. So enjoyed it close orientation to water and dock. Back screened porch shaded well and the comfortable during the heat of the day. Dock 633 restaurant was a real pleasant experience.

A Perfect Lake House Getaway!

What an amazing weekend. What an amazing Lake House. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The layout and the decor of the home was so welcoming. The beds were un-believably comfortable! Jodi was a perfect host and we could not have asked for a nicer getaway to Lake Placid. Since we have friends there, we will be back!

Enjoyable stay at the lake house.

We loved the cute A-Frame cottage. We enjoyed the peaceful days and had a fire most every night. We were lucky enough to have a couple Crane's visit most days with their newborn chick. They kept us entertained. Hopefully we can come again. Great place.

R & R with Capital R's

We had a great relaxing time at the Lakehouse! It was just what we were looking for. The house is absolutely adorable. We had great lake views during the day and campfires at night. We explored Highland Hammocks State Park and had a picnic there. My girls fished off the dock and played cornhole. We felt completely at home. Jodi makes you feel like you are renting from a friend or family member, very sweet and just a quick message away for anything you need. We hope to be back again soon!

Perfect Getaway!

We were looking for a perfect place for a quick getaway, and Jodi's place was perfect. The listing is accurate, and the home was immaculate. Communication with Jodi was excellent. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed for two nights of cooking. The view was incredible; we woke up early one morning for a beautiful sunrise. We used the grill (charcoal) and the firepit (bring wood) but didn't get a chance to take the canoe out. Notes: There is no dishwasher, but soap, towels and a drying rack were available. The coffee maker is drip; filters were provided.

Serenity on The Lake

My daughter and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving break at this charming Lake House. The pictures do not accurately depict just how special this home is. We spent most of our time relaxing on the dock which was peaceful and beautiful. We did venture out to the Highlands Hammock State Park where we enjoyed renting bikes and biking the 3 mile paved trail (easy). There are many trails to explore by bike or foot and a wonderful experience. My daughter enjoyed the sour orange ice cream at the Hammock Inn Camp Store. We also had fun strolling along the streets of the downtown Lake Placid area looking at the entertaining murals. A stop at the Caladium Arts and Crafts Co-Op is a must! So many talented artists in the area and beautiful, memorable gifts. We sat outside of Morty and Edna's Craft Kitchen for lunch where we enjoyed the most delicious BLT called "The Notorious B.L.T"--and my daughter loved their huge chocolate crinkle cookie from the bakery. The owners of the house, Jodi and Glenn, are top notch and very dedicated. When an emergency maintenance issue arose prior to our arrival (Thanksgiving week) they went above and beyond to have it fixed before our arrival and to make our stay perfect. Thanks Jodi and Glenn for sharing your lovely lake house with us. We felt right at home and made some wonderful memories! We will miss the breathtaking sunrises from the screened in porch but we will be back! Pam and Lexie

Getting away!

We live Paradise, but wanted to get away for a few days. No planes for us right now, so we drove up to Lake Placid/Sebring area and stayed in an adorable A-frame on Lake Henry (connects to Lake June) The place is adorable and was exactly as described. It was great to swim in fresh water for a change and the lake was very peaceful during the off season. Went to a few places close by that had outdoor seating and several restaurants have take out. Jaxson's is highly recommended, but wished waitstaff wore masks. Highlands Hammock State Park is about 20 minutes away and you can walk through ancient cypress woods. The stress just fell away! Did I say the house is cute? It is, and well be back! Thanks, Jodi!

Great Staycation

We enjoyed our brief stay here at this Lake House! This charming Lake House is very clean, equipped and the owners are SUPER accomadating! We were able to bring our 19 ft boat and dock it right there! We enjoyed time on Lake Henry and Lake June fishing and hanging out on the water! The fire pit was nice too! We enjoyed our S'Mores!!! We will definitely come back! Thank you Jodi!

Relaxing Retreat

Lovely place. Great location right on the lake. Owner was wonderful to work with. My husband loved the fishing. It was a perfect week. We will be back.
