We had an excellent time relaxing and playing here. The trails along the stream were really fun to walk the dogs through a few times a day. It was just as listed.
We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this charming, cozy, pet friendly tiny home on quiet and scenic 20 acres with lake and walking trails. This was a lovely place to unwind, and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, surrounded by the beauty of nature. Dave was a kind host, and we appreciated his hospitality. Thank you!
Our favorite weekend getaway! The cabin is so clean and cozy. We love getting the fresh air on walks and relaxing in the hot tub. It was our second time at the tiny home and will keep coming back - we love it!
This is a charming property perfect for a weekend getaway in the woods. Incredible hosts! We had a hiccup during check-in that Dave immediately responded to and went above and beyond to resolve. The rest of our weekend was smooth sailing and we had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the outdoors!
I brought my dog up here for her last days, she was old and sick. She had the best time walked through all the trails into the creek over the little bridges in the woods. It was amazing and I'll never forget it. And I will never forget the kindness from the owners. This place was clean, beautiful, peaceful and I will be returning for sure. Best place ever.
The property was beautiful and the stay was very relaxing and regenerative. the host was very friendly and helpful. We will stay again! Bring your dogs!
This place is so nice and cozy. The hot tub is fun to sit in at night under the stars. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again. Thanks for hosting Dave and Karen
Truly enjoyed our stay. The facilities were great and the nearby towns provided just enough to do when we ventured out. Communication with the owner was wonderful and he answered all our questions in a very prompt manner. Perfect long weekend getaway to relax and slow down. We will definitely be coming back to stay!
We absolutely loved our stay. It was the most relaxing part of our trip. We definitely took advantage of the hot tub and just sitting out back and listening to the birds. We also enjoyed walking down to the lake and just relaxing. We will definitely be back.
This place was super cute and quiet. We ended up getting snowed in and Dave plowed out our cars. The hot tub was a nice bonus! I would definitely stay here again.
We wanted a great get away place to relax and do our strategic business planning for next year. This place did not disappoint. A cozy cabin nestled in the woods, away from the sites and sounds of the city was perfect. The cabin is cozy, yet spacious, a walk on the trails was fun, the host was helpful and responsive, and the hot tub hit the spot! We highly recommend this place.
The property is wonderful. It's clean and has everything you need. The hot tub is really nice to have especially in October. We always enjoyed a stroll down to the lake to watch the sunset. It's a great location too. The sandhill cranes were migrating so we could enjoy their sight and sound. Dave is super easy to work with!
Dave takes great care of the property. Nice quiet stay, enjoyed our surroundings with some snowshoeing, antiquing, and brewery! Our favorite, of course, is the hot tub! Thanks so much!
This tiny home was a great weekend experience for us. We enjoyed the hot tub in the cold evenings with the stars overhead! The owner was super responsive with any questions we had. We especially liked the dog friendly nature of the house including the pet bowls and the outdoor lead! We will definitely be back to enjoy this little retreat away from big cities!
Beautiful 20-acre wooded property, many trails and wildlife, with an adorable Tiny House, welcoming, warm and peaceful experience. Abundant amenities. We will return for another visit. Outgoing and helpful hosts make this a wonderful vacation experience. Highly recommend this very special piece of heaven.
Our stay was wonderful. Dave is responsive and offers local suggestions. We did encounter a small issue with the gas fireplace but it was by no means a deal breaker and we let Dave know about it upon or departure. Pro tip: we used videos of fireplaces on YouTube in both rooms and it upped the cozy factor. Bonus that you can bring your pup! We would absolutely stay again. It's a great value and then some. Thanks Dave!!
We were looking for some quiet time and found it here. We spent time walking in the woods and sitting on the dock. Time in the hot tub really topped off a great. I have already booked for next year.
This is my second stay at the Tiny House. Dave and Karen truly care for their renters. They were very responsive to my questions. Dave also contacted me to make sure I was okay during bad weather. Thanks Dave and Karen!
I stayed with my two dogs in January 2023. I loved the hot tub, we all enjoyed exploring the trails and creek on the property. Peaceful and beautiful! The owner experienced a power outage at his residence during my stay and emailed and called with information, ways to stay warm and more. Luckily, either we werenât effected or slept right through it, but he was very prompt with all the necessary info had I needed it! Hope to be back!
It was a weekend intended to unwind from city life and work just perfectly for that. Dave was quite helpful, meeting us at check-in a describing all the features of the place, and the highlights and hotspots of the surrounding towns. We did get in to the little micro-brewery in Grantsburg (Brickfield Brewing...and I recommend the Kolsch) but otherwise wandered the paths in the woods, sat on he deck in the sun, listened to the rain on the roof late the first night, and watched the stars from the hot tub the second. Thanks Dave!
