The unit was amazing. It was very comfortable and well equipped. Parking was around the corner but wasn’t a huge issue. The area where the unit was located in was not very desirable and is my only complaint. If this unit was in a different part of town it would be perfect. Communication with host was prompt and responsive. Our overall experience was wonderful and we would definitely visit Charleston again.

Great place in an excellent location

This apartment is comfortable and in a great location. It is decorated nicely and has everything you need. It's on the second floor so be prepared to cau your luggage up, and the parking is a couple houses away.Parking you're not prepared

Cozy Charleston apt.

Cozy upstairs 2-bedroom apt in a convenient location just off King Street. Reserved parking fairly close. Comfortable and quiet. All the basics needed for a couple of day visit.

Convenient to King Street

Upper unit conveniently on king street which makes everything walkable. The two bedrooms with a tv in each make it great for two couples. The units accommodations are more than enough for an extended stay (washer/dryer, dishwasher, stove, pots/pans, etc). Host accommodated dropping luggage early which was very helpful. Would recommend checking out if you have a smaller group and want to be walking distance to places.

Beautifully decorated upstairs rental. Close to businesses and restaurants. We were there during major construction across the street which started at 7 am daily. Downstair tenents were loud and inconsiderate.

The apartment is very well decorated and maintained. Extremely clean. Very close to King street. We enjoyed using the bicycles to explore around the market area. We reached out to the owner 2 times and received quick replies both times.

Great place for a family get away

We had a great time staying here. It was two adults and two children. The house is situated just outside of downtown, but very close to everything. The off street parking was located two houses away and was very easy to find, but could have used a little more lights at night. The house had everything we needed and was cleaned and ready when we arrived.

Amazing stay!

We had the best time at this unit! Definitely enough room for 4 people even with only 1 bathroom. We walked almost everywhere. It’s close to amazing restaurants and great shopping. Our favorite restaurant by far was Felix Cocktails Et Cuisine, it is just a short 6 minute walk - highly recommend if staying at this unit. We felt totally safe even walking back at night. Parking is not as far down at all as you would think and the lot feels secure and safe! Would definitely stay here again.

Spotless, excellent location, well appointed, newly renovated 2 story house. Beds were extremely comfortable and nice linens provided, as well. Easy walk to all kinds of shopping and dining. Parking for upstairs unit is off-site but only 2 doors down; we could see our car from a bedroom window. Don’t judge the beauty of this place based on some of the surrounding structures - it really is a great place to stay! Highly recommend.

Poor location

Freeway was behind us and major construction out front. Street blocked off during the day due to the construction. Noise all day and the condo sometimes shook. Gas was turned off first night and throughout next day so no hot water to bathe and no cooking. Owner returned half of cost. Vrbo returned nothing.

Inside is really nice and looked exactly like the pictures. It’s just off kings street and a easy walk to everything. However, some of the other holmes in the direct vacinity look a little run down and there are some empty lots near by. That can make people feel uneasy about the location. That being said, I never once felt unsafe.

Trip was great.

The property was great. Extremely clean and easy access to everything. The only things that could use improvement is the parking in the back. We were concerned about our vehicle and the AC. The AC cooled well in the living room, but both bedrooms was hot. I think a little extra AC or a bigger unit would be beneficial.

Enjoyable stay

We enjoyed a few nights in Charleston just before Christmas at this charming spot! Second floor meant we had a great view out the front/ king bedroom windows down the King St. Side (East). It's a light and airy property and really well decorated. Great vacation home for a few days with the kids. We walked down King and took bike taxis back each day. Didn't need the car while we were there - it stayed parked in the assigned spot in the lot one house over for the duration of the trip. Was really nice to not have to park on the street or have to pay for parking. Whole place was sparkling clean!!! Great shower. hSheets d towels were great! Mattresses were comfy. Everyone slept well. Sofa is so great I napped there and our six year old fell asleon it the second night and chose to stay. To

One and done.

This is a good house and location for you and your buddies for a quick get away however I do not recommend it for the wife and family. The location is decent but not near as nice as others we have stayed at for same price. They advertise 2 bikes you can use to ride around but we couldn’t even get them out of the fence because the tenant on the the lower floor who parks in the drive doesn’t leave any room to get them out. The surrounding houses look like trash hence with trash in their yard every where. If I had the availability to cancel in the spot I would have and I’m an easy to please kind of guy so good luck.

Our new favorite spot!

Location- I used to live in Charleston so I am pretty familiar with the area. This is a great location! We loved being so close to King and walking to the coffee shops near by. My children weren’t old enough to walk down the battery and market without getting tired so we did drive down and park closer to that. I didn’t hear people on the street late at nigh- white noise machine provided. Cleanliness and comfort were too notch. Every thing looked exactly like the photos. The beds were very comfortable which made for nice restful sleep after long days in Charleston. Checking in was a breeze and parking was so easy to find. Parking was two houses down but extremely close and convenient. Our only regret was not booking the whole week when we had a chance to. I can see why this place is so popular. We spent the last night in a hotel before we returned back home. Next time we won’t make that mistake again and we’ll book right away when making plans to visit again. Thank you for a great stay!

Nice little place, just noisy during construction

Overall it was a great experience, and only had a few small issues that were quickly resolved by the landlord. The listing was updated about the construction so we expected that but it was loud so be cautious if you have light sleepers. The street was also closed most of our stay and the water was shut off for a short period one day, but that was not known to the owner and they quickly spoke with the construction crew to ask when it would be back on which was great to see the quick action. The only issue we had was the comforter/sheets were really disgusting so we had to request new ones, which the owner quickly got them swapped out. Just was not expecting a cleaning company to use a comforter with a giant stain on it. Other than that the house was great and the host was responsive and helpful!

It is downtown Charleston.

Great location in downtown Charleston, walking distance to just about everywhere. Just be aware that with the city comes noise.

Decent location, needs better disclosure

We enjoyed our stay in Charleston but i think this property needs a better disclaimer and we also had a couple issues with our stay.1. The property is located close to the freeway and the noises are quite loud.2. There is a major construction project happening across the street that begins there work at 6:30am each morning. It is very loud as well.3. When we arrived our parking spot was taken and we were directed to "block in" the vilolating car if we wanted to. This is an issue for the property management and not to pull a guest into the situation.4. The refrigerator broke half way through our stay.

4 of us stayed at this apartment and we truly had the best time. We could walk just about anywhere from it, and it was also clean and adorable.
