Calme, confortable, 2/2 Condo-Great Location-South Lamar

SituĂ© au cƓur de South Austin, Ă  seulement 3 km au sud du lac Lady Bird, ce condo calme, confortable, impeccablement propre et entiĂšrement meublĂ© est un bel endroit oĂč sĂ©journer. Cette maison de 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain est situĂ©e au large de South Lamar Ă  quelques minutes du centre-ville, du South Congress et de nombreux autres points chauds d'Austin. Pratique, mais en dehors de l'agitation - c'est le refuge parfait. La porte d'entrĂ©e s'ouvre sur un espace commun partagĂ© avec une piscine ombragĂ©e par plusieurs magnifiques pacaniers. Il y a une petite cour et un patio privĂ©s. Nous sommes une communautĂ© proche et amicale, prĂȘte Ă  vous accueillir.

Nous espérons que vous dormirez bien pendant votre séjour. Nous avons reçu de nombreux commentaires sur le confort des lits. Le condo est un endroit idéal pour deux couples ou deux colocataires avec une chambre et salle de bain complÚte à l'étage et une chambre et salle de bain complÚte en bas.

La disposition ouverte en bas vous permet, à vous et aux vÎtres, de cuisiner, de dßner et de vous détendre dans une atmosphÚre détendue. Avec une cheminée, une lucarne et des plafonds hauts, vous pouvez sûrement profiter de votre temps «autour de la maison». Détendez-vous et détendez-vous sur le canapé en cuir pendant que vous regardez quelque chose sur le téléviseur grand écran. Ou faites-vous tremper dans un peu de soleil à l'extérieur sous les imposantes noix de pécan. Trempez vos orteils dans la piscine ou détendez-vous à l'arriÚre en privé.

Austin est une ville incroyable et nous espĂ©rons que vous apprĂ©cierez votre sĂ©jour ici. Le condo est un endroit idĂ©al pour s'asseoir et se dĂ©tendre (on nous a dit qu'il se sent comme Ă  la maison). Mais si vous ĂȘtes lĂ  pour aller, faire et voir, c'est un endroit gĂ©nial et pratique Ă  partir duquel commencer votre aventure. SituĂ© Ă  seulement un pĂątĂ© de maisons et demi de South Lamar, vous pouvez facilement monter dans le bus ou sauter dans le tristement cĂ©lĂšbre trafic d'Austin. Good location for all things Austin. Walking distance to Zilke Park . Close to main bus route into town and beyond.

Perfect spot to stay in Austin!

The space and grounds were lovely. There are even some updates that aren’t shown in the pics such as a newer washer and dryer. There was more than enough space for 2 adults and 4 kids to stay comfortably. Stephanie was very responsive to requests or conversation.

The perfect getaway

We are just back in the UK from a wonderful stay in this condo. It was everything we had hoped for and more. We were a party of 4 adults and it was ideal. Stephanie was a pleasure to deal with and we were impressed that she had provided virtually everything a visitor needs – there were lots of linens, towels for the bathroom and pool, all kitchen equipment, wi-fi, and in fact some provisions were left which were very welcome. The condo was lovely, clean and cosy in a nice quiet, safe area. It was very easy to get just about everywhere cheaply and quickly: public transport appeared to be very efficient but we chose to Uber around Austin - the location is great for that, being so handily located. The pool was a real bonus. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely place and would definitely choose to stay again should we return to Austin.

Cozy comfort

My husband and I stayed for one week at Stephanie's condo during our visit to Austin in February. The place was cozy and comfortable. The neighborhood was absolutely great with easy access to downtown, east side, etc. and even to Hill Country. Everything was as advertised. We would not hesitate to stay there again in the future.

It was all we hoped for and more! Excellent property in fabulous location!

We are so grateful to have found a vacation rental that exceeded our expectations in so many ways! Stephanie was very welcoming and her property is truly fantastic. Her directions for locating and gaining access to the condo were detailed and translated into success (especially appreciated since we were arriving late in the evening)! The condo was well-stocked in every way, very clean, and gave us a homey feeling from the start. We were visiting our son and his family and the high chair was perfect for entertaining our 9-month old grandson! Though it is located near a busy Austin street, the condo's location in "the center of a city block" meant we could hear absolutely no traffic noise. Our visit was restful and we truly enjoyed the time we spent at the unit. The condo can easily accommodate two couples (2 bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms) and the sofa in the living room is a sleeper, allowing for a larger group. The washer & dryer were easy to operate and very accessible downstairs. I could go on and on. . .but you get the picture. I am confident you would enjoy a stay at Stephanie's condo. We will certainly be booking again!

great location

Our family enjoyed our stay. The condo was very clean and well furnished. The owner put lots of little extras in the unit, even adding a tasteful amount of holiday decorations for our Christmas stay. The unit is on a quiet street but still close to downtown and SoCo.

Great location, very comfortable, great Wifi, wonderful host

My wife and another couple stayed in the condo to see Austin together, and we loved it. Our host provided all the information anyone would need to enjoy their stay, and she was quite considerate when I needed some extra supplies because I was recovered from a cold. This was the first vacation our party had taken as a foursome since before we had kids, and this was a perfect basecamp. Threee of us walked along a lake on a beautiful day. Great foods included a pork taco at a nearby hole-in-the-wall Mexican place, a brisket and egg breakfast tacos a short walk from the condo, French contemporary at Justine’s , German lunches (in Fredericksberg and in downtown near the Capitol), and great restaurants on Lamar. We loved walking on South Congress. We tasted wines at a tasting room outside Fredericksburg. We took a tour of the Capitol. Wifi was strong, which was much appreciated due to work demands. I took a dip in the pool. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Austin.

Excellent location - Very comfortable

This two bedroom was very comfortable. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location on South Lamar was also within close proximity to many restaurants and bars and a quick drive to other downtown locations.

Great Housing Option for our Interns!

We housed our two company summer interns at Stephanie's home for June and July, and they loved the place. Nice and quiet area, but close enough to great Austin spots on Lamar and easy access to both downtown and highways to get to work. Stephanie was very hospitable and checked in now and again to see how the interns were doing and if they needed anything. The interns loved the up/downstairs set up so they could both have their private space as well as common areas, and enjoyed the community pool and their private patio space. We will definitely consider this location for next year's intern housing!

Perfect location!

Great house, the owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The shared pool could cause some issues with the neighbors just be clear on how many guest you have and if your having visitors. It was perfect for my family of 5 we where visiting family only 1 mile away witch came to visit us. There is so many cool things to do write in the neighborhood defiantly would stay again!!

Great place to stay in Austin

The condo was wonderful. It was clean and nicely stocked. It is perfectly located, everywhere we wanted to go was within 15 minutes. Our 5 and 6 year olds loved the pool. The wifi was great, it even worked by the pool.

Austin home away from home

The location was great and in a quiet neighborhood. The pool was refreshing and the carport was great to have in the July heat. We would definitely return if we are ever in Austin again, it was convenient to many of the places we wanted to visit. We had everything we needed during our stay!

Charming TX townhome with private yard and carport

We could not recommend this home more. The carport was a must in the June heat, and the whole home was set off from the street, with its own little yard. Easy walking access to the bus, to a 24hr drugstore, and lots of great food! My children loved biking to the 2 playgrounds nearby, and playing in the pool. Stephanie is an amazing homeowner, and was helpful & responsive while still being unobtrusive. We had plenty of towels and linens, and so much storage space for our things. We spent almost every day at nearby Zilker Park and downtown Austin, and it was so nice to not have to battle tons of traffic to get there. We loved every minute!

Great Home - Great Location

Our family stayed here because I had a medical procedure at St. David's which is only about 12 minutes away. I was laid up for a week so I was pretty much grounded here for a week and it was perfect! It was incredibly clean, cozy, and just plain comfortable. I joked with my wife that I was going to steal the couch as it was the most comfortable couch I've even rested on. And both beds were incredibly comfortable too. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. In fact, my wife and I agreed that if we ever have to come to Austin again we'll stay here. I can't imagine finding a better place especially at the affordable rate that this owner charges. It's a bargain for everything you get! When we stayed here the pool was still closed for the season so I can't comment on that other than to say it looked like a nice pool and the whole pool area looked very private. The nice thing too is that the pool is literally right out your back door from this property so if you have kids old enough to swim on their own, you can easily keep an eye on them from inside the home. The other thing I will say is that the owner, Stephanie, is phenomenal to work with. She responded to all of my emails and texts almost immediately. And when there were a couple items I needed, she took care of them without question. She's the best. Finally, the location is awesome. While I didn't venture out that much as I was recovering, my wife and kids did and my wife kept commenting how awesome the location was. She said it was central to everything you'd want to do in Austin!

Great Home and Great Location

Our family stayed here as I had a medical procedure at St. David's which was just a short 12 minute ride away. This was the absolutely best place to call "home" during my recovery. It was so cozy and comfortable and very relaxing. My wife also loved the location as she said it was centrally located to everything you'd want to do. We stayed when the weather was cold and crappy so the pool wasn't even opened yet but it looked like it would have been really fun for our kids had it been opened. It looked like the perfect size pool and the pool area was very private. Since I was grounded at the house the entire week I spent a lot of time inside. This home has everything you would need and then some. There was the perfect amount of room for a family of 4 and all the beds were super clean and comfortable with tons of pillows to choose from! I told my wife I was going to steal the leather couch in the living room. It was the most comfortable couch I've ever rested on! My only complaint is that the main floor bedroom still had an old-school CRT TV with limited cable (I think there were 15 standard definition channels to choose from). I know I'm splitting hairs but my kids are TV/Cable "snobs" and were really bummed their room had an "old" TV without any of their favorite TV channels to watch so they ended up crashing on the couches in the living room every night. Only the master bedroom has an HD flat panel TV with full blown cable channels to choose from. Again, a minor negative but one I feel compelled to share in case you're with someone that wants a "nice TV" with TV channels to choose from before they go to bed at night. Finally, I can't say enough nice things about Stephanie. She bent over backwards to accommodate us and responded to us immediately anytime we had a question for her. She also helped us figure out what things to do while we were there. She's the best! We have already decided that if we ever have another extended stay trip in Austin this is the only place we'll stay! I just hope if we do it's in the summer so we can use the pool!!

Great condo

Had a great stay in Austin.

We loved the condo and will stay again next time we are in Austin. Location is great. Close to downtown but not busy. Grounds and pool are quit and well kept. The codo was spotless and in great shape. Kitchen had all the necessisary pots, pans, coffee maker, etc. Beds were comfortable, even the pull out was nice. Owner, Stephanie, was very accommodating. Overall great experience.

3rd time staying here - we love it!!

We have stayed here 3 times & each time have been delighted with the property. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable & the outdoor pool is a delight (especially for the kids, if not the poor neighbours who get a glimpse of our pale Canadian winter flesh!!)....The location is superb, minutes by car from downtown, but with plenty of walkable local amenities - there is also a regular bus service into the city about 5 minutes walk away. Love the trees, bird song & nature that surrounds you in this leafy oasis. The owner is very helpful indeed - we cannot recommend this place highly enough!!

Great Experience

This was a girls weekend to enjoy Austin. This location was one of the best equipped places I have ever stayed in. The owner Stephanie Ball seems to anticipate any possible need a tenant might have. The condo was great, roomy, and nicely decorated. I would gladly stay here again when in Austin.

returning Austinite

The apartment was exactly as promised. It was comfortable and well equipped. The location is excellent; close to South Congress and downtown Austin. Unfortunately, unseasonal weather caused problems with the pool but we were kept well informed about it's return to use. The owner was available as required but not intrusive. We were very satisfied with the arrangements and would happily return.
