Had such a great time and one of the best locations on West Lake Okoboji. The host was very easy to communicate with, accommodating, and took care of anything we needed
Nine of us spent a week at this cottage - my husband, my four adult children and three significant others. Everything was perfect. The cottage was extremely clean, well-stocked with the supplies for daily living, including towels, beach towels, and extra bedding. Every single bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware, tableware, and serving ware. Best for us was the history of the cottage, the antique furniture, and the piano. We spent nearly all of our time on the front screen porch or in the water. We walked throughout the neighborhood many times. We even fished off the dock and caught four large bass. There is not one thing that could have made our stay better and we feel so fortunate to have this family treasure shared with us.
Your hosts, sisters Karen and Linda, are the current owners of this family-owned property. We reside in Colorado, but have been spending summers here throughout our life.
The historic L&C cottage has been lovingly owned by the same family since 1898. Our families have enjoyed summer gatherings together for >120 years. We look forward to sharing the unique Okoboji experience with you.
