The condo was in a great part of town short walk to just about everything you wanna do when youâre in downtown Astoria. There was parking plenty of close restaurants, I really couldnât ask for a better location to be honest. Tyler was a great host checked upon our arrival. The check-in process was very smooth and straightforward.
Great location in downtown astoria, walking distance from shops and restaurants. Very clean and right by the waterfront. Fast response times with any questions/information about the rental.
Many wonderful aspects of this stay. Great location, well equipped kitchen (dinnerware not microwave safe since it was melamine & dishes stated not safe for micro-host notified & I am sure that has been rectified). The main issue for our party was the 2nd bedroom that is a stretch to be called a bedroom. No closet & no privacy. The barn door does not close properly & the green curtains in the listing cover 2 large square openings so the room is not quiet but the bed is comfortableâŠotherwise great flat & we really enjoyed our stay. If possible I would give 4.5 stars for the stay but that choice is not offered.
This was a perfect place for our family to stay! It was very clean and it had all the amenities we needed to make our stay great. I highly recommend this place.
Good location
Pizza 1 minute away
Comfortable accommodations
Parking near by and cart for unloading
Vehicle can be seen from room, which was nice being in a city, a few people roaming around.
We would stay there again.
The property was in a great location, (especially if you are a Goonie at heart!) Easy access to downtown, restaurants and the pier. It had a beautiful view and was nicely decorated. There were a few snags, but quickly acknowledged and rectified by the property manager. Would definitely chose to stay here again, if ever back in this part of the country. We enjoyed our stay.
We loved this converted loft apartment in a former industrial building! The location is ideal, an easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants or take the trolley. The apartment itself is spotless and very well appointed, with ample space for everyone. Iâd book it again in a heartbeat!
We had a great stay at the Fisher Bros Flats. We were delighted to see how roomy the apartment was and how close it truly is to the water and central part of town. I would recommend this spot to anyway. T
Super cute flat/condo very close to everything Astoria has to offer. Beds were super comfortable (even the convertible/pull-out) and there was a great view of the river from the balcony off the living room. The listing says there are three bathrooms, but there are two full baths. Otherwise, everything was absolutely great.
This was a great place to stay and location was awesome. Host was so responsive and accommodating. The only reason I have it a 4 vs 5 was due to cleanliness. We found Cheerios on the floor and moldy coffee grounds in the coffee pot. Not a big deal but could have done without the moldy coffee grounds. I would definitely stay here again.
I hadn't been in Astoria since the early 90's. My family & i decided to come back and see everything we remembered as children. It was a wonderful experience & I'm sure ill be back. When I do come back, I'll be staying at Fischer Lofts again! Great place, perfect location with beautiful views of the river. Wonderful escape from the cities!
The flat was very nice. All updated appliances, flooring ETC. The group living out of their vehicles in the designated parking lot was a little alarming. The massive pile of crumbs on the bench of the dining room table didnât scream very well cleaned, but all and all a nice place to stay.
Absolutely loved this property! Four of us (two couples) stayed here for a wedding, and couldn't have asked for a better stay and location. The condo is beautiful, clean, and the beds were both very comfortable. The location is right on on the river walk and a short walk into downtown. We only used our car once, when we needed to drive down to Safeway, but otherwise walked everywhere. Check in and check out were a breeze and there was plenty of parking. Would definitely stay here again, and if only two of us, would be interested in other properties in this building. Highly recommend!
The check in process was great as well as the location. Easy to walk to local shops/restaurants. Unfortunately, the roof was leaking which kept me up all night with the stream of water into the kitchen and dripping noise. The ceiling had visible water damage and the unit had a moldy/musty smell. I reported the leak and the property manager did respond they will look into it after further prompting they said a roofer would be out to take care of it. Never heard back after that, but luckily on the second night it didn't leak any longer. The lack of sleep pretty much ruined the day we had planned as I was exhausted after only getting a couple hours sleep the prior night. We also found used dirty laundry left by prior guests in the master bedroom, which didn't instill a lot of confidence in the cleanliness of the unit.
The place was nice and clean and in a good location. The only location issue was the proximity to the brewery which had an awful smell the first night we were there, like, nauseatingly awful. If this is a common smell, the I'd suggest avoiding any unit in this building because it permeates the entire space.
However, regardless of that, on our last day there, we noticed a large amount of water damage on the wood beam in the kitchen. In addition, there was visible black mold on the ceiling. Host was contacted and asked for pictures which I provided. After which, I ghosted by them even with a follow up text message.
Mold in any unit is unacceptable. That the host essentially offered no discount of any kind or even acknowledgment that they received the photos and that the issue would be addressed is very surprising given the high reviews on this unit.
In the end, we enjoyed our stay, but I'm very frustrated with the handling of the mold situation and would not stay here again.
What a great place! We were in Oregon for the first time and this was a great location to have as âhome base.â Took in the coast line, Astoria history, etc. The place has a lot of character, right on the water and we watched ships come in to port, walking distance along the trolley tracks to breakfast was nice, and close to shops. Would highly recommend!
