My family really loved the place. It appears to have been recently updated and was quite comfortable. It is located in a very quiet part of Narragansett. Very easy walk to Salty Brine Beach and the restaurants that surround PT Judith.
Layout of the home is wonderful. Gorgeous lawn and flowering plants. Easy walk to beach and restaurants. Also, walking distance to take a ferry to Block Island.
This home is easily one the nicest rentals I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. It is in great condition, is very welcoming, and in a fantastic location near great great restaurants, beaches and the ferry to Block Island. I would highly recommend this home if you are looking to stay in Narragansett.
We had a great time at our stay ! The house was super cute as well as clean and it was in perfect proximity to where we wanted to go. We will be back :)
The house was very clean and comfortable. We went on walks to the little town and salty brine beach (a bit of a walk but very nice). 5 min drive to Roger Wheeler beach which our 3 year old loved.
The home was everything we expected. It was very comfortable and equipped with all that we needed. I only gave four stars for cleanliness because under the beds was fairly dusty. I would rent this place again!
We had a fabulous time at this well maintained and comfortable property. We loved the open space and the well planned layout. The attention to detail could not be better. We hope to return to visit this property and the area again. Thank you for a great and smooth experience.
This was a beautiful, bright , airy home with everything needed for a relaxing stay. A quiet, serene setting not far from the beach. We were able to bike to the beach, farmerâs market , dock and fish market .
The kayak launch site was a 2 minute walk .Lots to do, a short car ride away . We are repeat Great Island renters but this home was by far the cleanest, most modern and comfortable.
The house is lovely and the area is beautiful.
Its not just a summer house but a beautifully maintained home in an established neighborhood.Close to the beach, the kayak put in on the pond and an easy bike ride to the farmer's market or Aunt Carries .
This year the new construction across the street was a surprise..it does change the look and view out the front door and there was some construction noise.Fortunately not much building was happening or it would have been very disappointing
Beautiful property with all the comforts of home. The landscaping was BEAUTIFUL. The house was remote enough for privacy and quiet outside dining yet close to stores, ferry and beaches, as needed. Well equipped kitchen and gas grill w/full propane tank. Parking was a bit small (4 cars max). It helps to carpool to leave room for a day visitor. I highly recommend !!!!!
The property was very nice, clean and comfortable. We did have a problem with a cat, not ours, that came to back door multiple times a day. It hissed and bit my grandson. No one else touched it. Also, I feel 14 days for refund of security deposit is too long. We left the property spot less. Seems like refund could be in at least 7 days.
Our party of 6 was perfectly comfortable in the Great Island Beauty. You can tell that the house has been completely renovated over the years. The outdoor shower was a nice amenity. We didn't find the water access on Great Island but we weren't really looking for it. The property is about a mile from Salty Brine Beach, which we visited a couple of times during our stay. We rode bikes. I appreciated that the owner left the shed unlocked and there was ample storage for our 6 bikes. The house was clean, and near some very good dining just over the bridge.
The house and property were as beautiful as last year. Access to everything g you need was just minutes away but the house far enough away to be private and quiet. Accommodations for 5 adults (all women) worked perfectly with plenty of space to steal a quiet moment. Only negative was that the kitchen lacked complete sets of items. Glass plates, placemats and cookware. TIP. Bring a grill lighter or matches and remote batteries. Some light bulbs were burnt out but not replaced. We are ready to rent again next year !!
This house was super clean and nice. We were a little worried staying away from home during COVID but this house was spotless and it is well maintained in a cute, quiet neighborhood. My husband and I travelled with our 2 sons ages 8 & 10. The house was perfect for us. You are a short walk down to the water where you can launch kayaks or SUP or just walk down to skip rocks. Salty Brine is the local beach about a mile away but it is small and gets very crowded. We would go later in the day for a swim or just to relax and read. Narragansett Town Beach is a 10-15 min drive away and is very nice with big waves. You just have to arrive early (like 9am) to get a parking spot on the street. There is no parking in the lots for out of towners during COVID. Also, there are lots of great restaurants around that you can get take out or sit outside (George's, Aunt Carrie's and Pasquale's in Wakefield has great pizza). Also, Narrow River Kayaks is an awesome place to rent kayaks for a couple of hours or take a SUP class. Overall, a great trip and highly recommend this house!!
My family really loved the place. It appears to have been recently updated and was quite comfortable. It is located in a very quiet part of Narragansett. Very easy walk to Salty Brine Beach and the restaurants that surround PT Judith.
The location is excellent, the house is incredibly well done and in really great shape. All the amenities you need for a full family vacation whether you choose to eat out every night or grill out at the house. The kitchen is gourmet the bedrooms are comfortable and the air conditioning is refreshing. The outdoor shower was a huge hit and itâs a nice quiet neighborhood which seems mostly full-time residence. I highly recommend this property along with the management company and the owners
We loved staying in this house which was located around the corner from my in-laws - perfect for going back and forth! The house was wonderful. Kitchen stocked with pots/pans etc.
This house is advertised to accommodate 8 people and it gets 5 stars in terms of kitchen space and utensils, dining area and living space for 8 people. The beds were very comfortable with the exception of the futon, which provides the 7/8 sleeping spaces. I would also suggest that the owners put some blinds in the sun room where the futon is located. If you have 6 or fewer people, this place is great, If you have 7 or 8, you may want to bring an inflatable mattress. Thanks for sharing your home!
We very much enjoyed our stay at this home, however we would have liked to have a functioning vacuum cleaner to keep the house tidy during our two week stay. We did sweep. We ended up buying bowls to use as the dishware was a little sparse, but overall we would stay at this property again. Everyone we met on Periwinkle Rd was very friendly!
