Super endroit! - un accès facile à Karsten Creek et à 3 km de l'OSU

Trois chambres, deux salles de bain près de Lakeview Drive. Grande cuisine ouverte, salon et salle à manger. TV 60 pouces avec DiSH. Une chambre a des lits superposés avec matelas complets et un lit gigogne avec un matelas complet. Une chambre a un lit simple et la troisième chambre a un lit queen. Gril à gaz, foyer et Big Green Egg presque neufs. La cuisine a une cuisinière à gaz et un double four électrique. Il y a une machine à glaçons sur l'île ainsi qu'un réfrigérateur à vin dans le coin boissons.

Itinéraire direct vers Karsten Creek en évitant les feux de signalisation et la circulation en ville. Deux milles au nord du stade Boone Pickens et de l'aréna Gallagher-Iba.

Beau sentier de randonnée autour du lac Sanborn derrière la maison. Sentier de marche / course / vélo de trois milles à deux pâtés de maisons à l'est du lac Boomer.

Perfect for a weekend in Stillwater

We were visiting for mom’s weekend. It is the perfect space for large gatherings of friends and family. It’s very convenient to the University and all restaurants.

Nice place for a larger group

The place had a great open feel to it for hanging out with a group. The only down side to the place was the uncomfortable mattress in the main bedroom.

Homecoming Weekend

We stayed for OSU Homecoming weekend and had a great time. It was cold and raining on game day so it was really nice to have a lot of space to hang out and spend time as a family without being right on top of each other in a hotel room. The Osteens met us at the house Friday evening for a quick show around and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend this home for anyone looking for a great place to stay with family!

Surprise engagment party for our daughter

This was our second time to stay at the home and it was perfect both times. The process was easy and the home is well appointed, clean and located close to campus and grocery stores. The kitchen island is large and offers tons of seating so it worked really well for our family this visit. We hosted a surprise engagement party for extended family and there was plenty of room to serve all of the food and drinks. The layout is open so decorating was easy and fun. The kids loved the bunk beds and the living room and fireplace provided a great place to relax and visit. Thank you again for allowing us to stay again. Great hosts!

Best VRBO Ever!

Family and friends gathered to honor our daughter with her graduation from Oklahoma State University! This home "Blew" everyone away as it was exceptionally well furnished and decorated, and floorplan was perfect for gathering and entertaining. Owners were gracious hosts and very accommodating. Just a remarkable and memorable event and this property was absolutely perfect in every regard. Highly recommend and if our travels take us to area again, I will be certain to try to book this property again! Many thanks to the owners!

This home was Beautiful and the host Barbara was very friendly and helpful. She responded to all my messages quickly. We had a wonderful experience. It was the perfect place for our daughter’s graduation celebration! Thank you Barbara & Vic for the generous hospitality! The host even left some snacks & congratulations balloons for us when we walked in the front door. We felt very welcomed and felt like our “home away from home” Thank you again 💕

Thanks for turning over your house

House was great in terms of space, bedroom, location. Only note for future renters is to know that this is Barbara’s house that she vacates a few times a year - mainly for osu football games. She does a great job clearing out the common areas but you know you aren’t in a Marriott. Most people don’t mind but always good to know.

Thank you for your feedback. The bedrooms are only used for VRBO guests except for our master which isn’t available. The same goes for the bathrooms, towels, etc. There’s always free coffee, bottled water and snacks as well. Pretty sure the Marriott charges for their water.. 😀

Amazing Experience

Our large extended family had a wonderful time staying here to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from OSU! We’ve stayed in many rentals but none had gone to the lengths that Barb and Vic went to ensure we had a pleasant and stress-free stay. Their thoughtfulness and attention to details is exactly what we needed. We did not have to worry about one thing. From the welcoming gift basket, cookies, and balloons, the well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms, the large, high quality towels, the clean and organized home, the large casual eating areas, the cozy front and back porches…the list can go on. Thank you for helping to make this weekend even more special!

Dangerous Bedroom, Undisclosed Cameras and Spying

The hosts seemed nice at first, however we encountered major issues with the home and the hosts themselves during our short stay. First, the bedroom with the bunk bed is dangerous due to the ceiling fan overlapping with the top bunk—which resulted in my daughter being struck in the head shortly after we arrived and required staples at the ER. The hosts have ignored any attempt to contact them in regards to her injury. Secondly, the property has an undisclosed Ring doorbell camera which the owners have demonstrated they use to spy on guests by monitoring any and all activity at the home (more on that below). Finally, Vic visits the property frequently, unannounced, and even approached children in my group to ask them for personal information while they were on the patio area. Vic also visited the home unannounced while only my mother, daughter, and myself were on the property. He pounded on the back door shortly after we arrived to the home, allowed a strange, unknown man into the home, and demanded details of our group and additional payment for “extra guests.” Overall, I do not recommend staying at any property with these hosts. The home itself was fine (aside from the ceiling fan overlapping with a bunk bed setup), but the hosts are aggressive, do not respect privacy, and do not take responsibility for injuries that encountered on their property due to their neglect.

We have never had a single complaint registered about our property or us as hosts. My husband has a greenhouse in the backyard and we ALWAYS disclose this to our guests, including Maeghan, as he does enter the backyard to water the plants. The Ring doorbell is a standard safety feature that certainly does not constitute spying as it points to the front porch and driveway. This person registered 8 adults in her reservation. There were well over 10 people staying at our home with 5 children. The child jumped off the top bunk bed (over the safety rail) resulting in the injury which we were not informed about until we questioned this person about the number of people staying in the home. She then thanked us for allowing them to stay.
