La cabane Owl's Nest est nichĂ©e au cƓur des magnifiques montagnes Blue Ridge de Caroline du Nord, surplombant la North Fork de la New River. La cabine est Ă  une courte distance de Boone, Blowing Rock, West Jefferson et Mountain City, TN

Cette grande cabine confortable est le lieu de vacances idéal - avec vue sur la montagne et la riviÚre. To Start, This Was One of Our Favorite Vacation Rentals to Date!! From the First Contact with the Owners, to the Day We Checked Out, Everything Was Wonderful and Smooth!! Our Family Truly Enjoyed Everything This Cabin Had to Offer as Well as the Area/Location Around It. One of My Favorite Parts of Our Stay This Year was the Mountain and River Views as Well as the Sounds of Nature. Thank You So Much for Such a Wonderful Place to Spend 7 Days of Vacation in the Mountains. It Was Truly a Welcoming Home

This was the third consecutive summer that we've stayed at Laura's cabin and it was wonderful, as usual. Hurricane Helene washed out the bridge to the cabin, which required a slight detour, but otherwise the cabin and area right around it seemed to have survived Helene without any problems. And the porch continues to be a wonderful spot to sit and visit, eat, read and have a fire.

The Mountains Are Still There

We Absolutely loved everything about this special place. Hanging out on the porch. Fishing in the river. Our granddaughter got in the river and had a blast. The host are wonderful people. So much has been done to rebuild. To give us a place to go to enjoy. So, I say go. Come to the Mountains! It's a Blessing! It's Still there.

The property is an absolute slice of heaven and perfect escape. Laura was so kind and informative from the beginning of the booking process. The house was perfect, but the porch is absolute perfection! We couldn’t have booked a better place for a Father’s Day getaway. I could’ve stayed forever.

Mountain magic

Always a lovely stay at this beautiful cozy cabin. Home is clean, beautiful mountain decor and stocked full of every weekend essential. Property is very well maintained for our young son to run free. Back porch has the most breathtaking view. Hosts are so welcoming and kind. We have already rebooked two more trips here. Thank you again for a wonderful holiday weekend!

Peaceful vacation

Our 2nd time staying here. Cabin is perfect, big front porch connecting to outdoor great room with stone fireplace, gives you multiple places to sit and listen to the sounds of the river, watch birds/animals, and admire three top mtn. Looking forward to returning soon.

A great getaway!

This is our 4th time at this cabin and we enjoy it every time. The stillness, the trickling of the river and the birds flitting by the feeders just makes it such a nice place to be. The kitchen is very well equipped. The proximity to downtown West Jefferson and the state park, and a stop at Ingles makes it location most desirable. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful getaway

This is our second time at the cabin. We love the outdoor living space, where we enjoy watching the wildlife. My husband loves to fish in the river right in front of the cabincabin.

Fantastic Restful Stay

This is always such a magical and restful place to stay. It has all the basic amenities you need, and once we settle in on the covered porch and look out on the majestic vista before us, a sense of peace settles in that remains for the entire stay. Such restful sleep and good times - we can't wait to visit again!

Great property

The cabin and its location were perfect. The only things to note was that a hand towel to the right of the bathroom sink was soaked when I went to dry my hands after washing them upon arrival and someone did come mow the lawn (we weren’t made aware but no big deal) making it difficult to enjoy quiet time or time on the porch until it was completed. The cabin is beautiful and did have everything that was needed. Would definitely recommend!
