À l'extérieur, vous trouverez une terrasse spacieuse et un porche grillagé avec vue sur le lac et la montagne; un barbecue à gaz et des sièges d'extérieur pour votre plaisir de griller et de refroidir et un bain à remous pour se détendre. Un foyer près du lac et un quai améliorent l'expérience du lac. Deux kayaks et un pédalo sont fournis pour les clients. * Veuillez faire preuve de prudence sur la rampe du lac qui est lisse. Idyllic lake home

Perfect lake home, steps to waterfront. Beautiful lake and wood views. Secluded, but not remote. Comfortable outdoor spaces and open concept indoor spaces for gathering all together. The landscape was beautiful. Everything about our stay was just lovely.

Perfect Lakefront Family Vacation

Beautiful lakefront property for our family of four. We loved having the boat on property. We enjoyed fishing, sunset cruises and just floating around the lake in the floats provided. We also enjoyed a great day hiking/exploring at Lake Lure/Chimney Rock about 20 minutes away. The new back porch was a joy for coffee in the am while the kids slept in and a glass of wine in the evening. We saw tons of birds, squirrels, deer and even chipmunks on the property. Thanks so much for sharing your home.

Amazing!

Lake life is truly the best! The house is nestled in a beautiful scenic area! It shouts relax and enjoy your stay. Everything was clean and the kitchen was beyond stocked. We rented the beautiful boat and enjoyed the kayaks. The screened in porch was my favorite! Coffee in the morning just listening to nature. My guys enjoyed the fire pit. Many laughs could be heard. We would absolutely return in the future. Thank you for one of our best family vacations to date.

60th birthday celebration with friends and family

Hawk Ridge Retreat is a beautiful property overlooking the lake with a large screened in porch perfect to start and end the day. From lake activities, to the fire pit, to visits to nearby Chimney Rock and Hendersonville our stay couldn't have been better.

Amazing lake house!

Amazing lake house, boat was fantastic, great swimming, with a wonderful screened in porch. Hot tub was private and lovely. Short walk down to the fire pit and pontoon boat. Would suggest more kitchen towels (only one in kitchen), and tp was very low. Would 100% rent again!

Serenity at its best

My family of four and 2 dogs had a fantastic stay at Hawk Ridge Retreat! The house had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We loved waking up and going onto the porch which overlooked the lake for our morning coffee, listening to the sound of the birds and watching the squirrels and bunnies scamper around the private yard. Lake Adger is a lovely upscale community with very friendly people who live there too. We loved visiting the village of Chimney Rock, Brevard, Hendersonville and of course, Ashville! The owner was also quick to respond to questions we asked thru VRBO. We highly recommend this home and think you would love it too.

Peaceful Paradise

Our family had an amazing stay at Hawk Ridge Retreat. The house was beautiful and clean. The flower gardens surrounding the house were exquisite. The dock is in a quiet cove with an incredible view of the lake. There were plenty of kayaks and flotation devices for everyone to enjoy. We will definitely return with our family next year. Our boys and our dogs enjoyed every minute on the lake front. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Terrific property

House was gorgeous and well kept. Good distance from Asheville and other destinations. Owners were great to work with. Really glad we rented the pontoon boat as the lake is scenic and peaceful. Everyone enjoyed. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

Great week at Lake Adger

Great home with wonderful access to Lake Adger. Rented the pontoon boat two days. Property manager was responsive when the battery was dead on the boat (prior user had left something turned on), but a nice neighbor jumped us off. Loved the kayaks and paddle boat. Easy trip over to Frog Rock - multiple visits. Easy access to two grocery stores and dining. Enjoyed our evenings at the firepit roasting marshmallows, and on the screened in porch playing board games. A few of us had some work to do that week, and the internet worked well. Peaceful, quiet property. Hardly had time to enjoy the hot tub, but it was lovely too. Beautiful landscaping, active bird feeders, great walking trails in the neighhborhood. Highly recommend.

Family & Friends mini getaway

Everything about our stay was just great. We thoroughly enjoyed the private lake setting; it was perfect, the screened in porch, and the fire pit, and mostly having access to kayaks & paddle boat. The kids and all the adults couldn’t get enough. Easy check in and out, great communication with property manager, everything we needed for our stay. We wish we had more time there. Perfect for our dog and we loved the hot tub. Only downfall was that we would have loved to take the pontoon out, but wasn’t feasible for the time in the area and the cost. While the kids didn’t mind so much we would love to see some rock or possibly sand added to the edge of the lake where you launch the kayaks. The grounds are very well maintained and the flowers were just gorgeous. This rental did not disappoint and we look forward to coming back! Thank you for helping us make great memories.

Letting Go Of Work Stress Instantly

We had a wonderful 6 days. The weather was accommodating and the lake was beautiful. We slept late, went out on lake on pontoon boat, my dogs swam every day, we sat in hot tub at night under stars, cooked some-mores over fire pit, and met the owners on the last day and said we’re coming back next year.

Wonderful vacation

We stayed at Philip and Lori's property for 6 days. We had an INCREDIBLE vacation. We rented the boat and enjoyed using it every day. We kayaked with the provided kayaks and used the paddle boat around the lake. The home had everything one could need and everything was in great condition. Our kids haven't had this much fun in a long time. It was a much-needed break and we couldn't have had a better time. Beautiful home, beautiful lake, beautiful vacation. Thank you, Philip & Lori. Hopefully we will be back again soon!

A great vacation spot

Beautiful home on a quiet, secluded lake in a private cove. Pretty good overall value (other than all the bothersome VRBO extra fees). It was nice having a pontoon boat available to rent however, it’s a very old, cranky, not that well maintained boat. Overall, beautiful property, nice time.

Weekend getaway

This was a nice quiet retreat. We opted to rent the boat which added a lot of fun. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in the woods but also interested in light boating. There was plenty of space and the owners were excellent to work with.

Just what we needed

everything was exactly as described. With kids in our group, the boat was necessary. Lake Adger is a small lake, and there were more kayaks and fishing boats out than pontoons. The kids loved jumping off Frog Rock and swimming in the middle of the lake. The grill was used every for allnofnourbdinners, and the screened in porch was awesome for the adults in the evenings. Owners were very responsive when we had questions. A very nice getaway for all of us. Definitely recommended.

Heaven on earth (and water)

We came for a week in July having no idea what to expect from Lake Adger. The lake is quiet and the water is cool. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. We saw deer, otter, and an egret in our cove. We spent most of our time on the water, either in floats, kayaks, or pontoon boat provided by hosts. Nice, clean dock with an easy walk downhill from the house – smooth, wide rock steps with lights. Halfway down there is a lovely circular fire pit, which makes for a nice outdoor room, complete with torches and chairs—- firewood, lighter, and other necessaries in convenient chest. The flower gardens around the house are beautiful. Great small side porch. Main floor is kitchen, laundry, den, and two bedrooms with spectacular, large screened porch with comfy furniture facing the lake. Upstairs is the third bedroom and a balcony office. When we were not on the water, we enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, playing cards and reading on the porch, and relaxing in the hot tub. We stayed for seven days and did not want to leave! It was a perfect getaway for our family with plenty to do for everyone. Thank you to our hosts for making this a truly memorable experience.

Peaceful Lake Getaway

Quiet mountain lake getaway with great screened porch overlooking the lake. Pontoon boat available for additional charge is a good way to enjoy cruising and exploring the lake.

A great lake getaway
