Gorgeous home, equipped with everything you need. Close to the shops and walk to the beach. Our family had a wonderful time in Folly beach and this home had all the comforts we needed.

Awesome house in quiet Folly Beach neighborhood

This house was just perfect for our group of 8 (two families). Super well supplied with everything we needed. Great kitchen and we loved the screened porch. Easy walk, bike or golf cart ride to the beach or town. Loved everything about our stay here!

Wonderful stay at Islay Folly! House was clean and spacious. Porches are wonderful. Neighborhood is nice and yes walkable but felt further than we thought. Definitely glad we added the golf cart rental to our stay. Would absolutely return!

Beautiful, well-stocked home

Pretty, quiet neighborhood, beautifully furnished house about 12 minutes’ walk to the beach. Exceptionally well-stocked kitchen -serious cook’s dream. There is plenty of room for 8 or 9 people.

Beach Bliss

We have stayed at this property for 3 years in a row. It is beautiful, well equipped and we love the porch. We had an infant, a 3-year-old and our son and daughter-in-law. Truly wonderful vacation. Our family is growing, so we will, sadly, have to move on.

Extremely Well Equipped and Very Clean

A beautiful property with every amenity, especially in the kitchen. Screened porch, deck, grill, front porch, large tv's, 20 minutes from historic Charleston, easy walk to the beach, upstairs for family, downstairs master for the old folks. Just wish the weather had been better! We were extremely happy with this rental.

Family vacation

House was beautiful! Spacious enough for everyone to go their own way. Loved the fact that every light switch was marked. Steps were a little rough on not so great knees, as there’s A LOT! But was a great week and would definitely recommend this house.

Beautiful house! The house and everything in it was extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals for our group of 9. We had plenty of room to spread out in the house when we wanted to, and we enjoyed the big dining table for dinners together. The screened in porch was perfect for relaxing and hanging out in the evenings. The distance to the beach wasn’t bad if you have bikes. The one thing that wasn’t clear in the listing is about the availability of beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, etc.. We got the 250 credit for beach gear rentals, which we spent on beach chairs and umbrellas, then when we got there we saw the house was fully stocked with everything needed for the beach so we didn’t even use our rental gear. We would have spent it on bikes instead if we knew the house was stocked with beach gear. Other than that little detail, the house was great!

Fantastic. The house was everything that was advertised.

All we can say is Wow.! We had a 5500 square foot home on the beach in the Outer Banks of NC for 19 years and I thoughy Judy had decorated the house beyond comparison with all the amenities and kitchen utensils and condiments that anyone could want. Well we were surpassed. There was nothing that we needed that was not in the house. Nice walk to the town and beach and on the cul de sac were able to play a lot with the grandkids and the neighbors were welcoming. Would recommend this home without any reservations. THANK YOU. This home was amazing! The owners have thought of everything that could possibly be needed and provided down to a drawer full of spices. I have never seen such a well stocked kitchen. Plenty of dishes, silverware and wine glasses so that you didn't have to be constantly washing dishes. The decor was really nice. We were there with our two grown sons and their wives and there was plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. My favorite part of the house was the screened porch where you can sit and listen to the wind rustle the beautiful trees surrounding it. We appreciated the 250 rental credit which we put towards a bike rental. We also rented a golf cart which you really need to get all your stuff to the beach. It was a perfect relaxing vacation! I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

Perfect for our group!

We had a group of 8 - mostly teens. Islay Folly was built in 2018 and it was such a treat to stay in such a nice and new place. The layout was perfect. Easy bike ride or walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Great property

The house was in great shape and it was able to accommodate our group of 6 adults and 3 children very well. The location was close to the beach but not walkable because of having smaller children. All in all a very enjoyable vacation rental.

Amazing week at the beach!

We 100% enjoyed our stay in this lovely home! So much thought was put into making this a great getaway home for a vacation. We cannot thank the owners enough for opening it up for rentals. A wonderful place to stay at Folly Beach. The house was terrific!!

We could not have asked for a better house to stay at Folly. The first class accomodations met every expectation we had. The house was so well presented and everyone had a great time. Thanks for the use of the golf cart which made the biggest difference in our beach outings. We hope to stay there again on our next trip to Folly Beach.
