Golf et pêche Dream - Lake House sur le lac Wilson

Cette maison de lac a une pente facile à la jetée et de belles vues de presque chaque pièce de la maison. Il y a un bordereau de bateau pour les clients qui veulent apporter leur bateau. Il dispose de trois chambres à coucher, deux salles de bains et deux espaces de vie (une avec un canapé-lit). Il y a une cuisine complète à l'étage et une kitchenette en bas. Il est un court trajet en voiture des magasins et des restaurants. Très proche du terrain de golf Robert Trent Jones à Muscle Shoals.
La maison est à seulement deux miles d'une épicerie et un magasin de vins / spiritueux. Stanfield's Steak House est également proche. Il est à une courte distance en voiture des attractions et des restaurants de Muscle Shoals, Florence et Tuscumbia.

Family Birthday Getaway Weekend

Thanks for sharing your home with us. My Dad is from this area and I treated him to a trip home. We loved your record collection and the coziness of your home. We fished off the dock and watched the boats go by. Great relaxing location!

Amazing

Great from start to finish, home owners checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed the neighbors are nice quiet area easy to get in and out. The home has everything a family needs on a get away and alot more. My wife just wants to say thank you as well for making her birthday special.

Perfect getaway

We came in town for a baseball tournament, and never had stayed in Muscle Shoals. What a treat!! The property location was perfect. It’s close to everything but tucked away in a great spot. The house had everything you could need and more. Our family is definitely hoping to return next summer.

Perfect Spot for RTJ Getaway

We stayed here for our golf weekend while playing the RTJ trail golf courses in MuscleShoals. The location is 7 minutes from the golf courses and it is everything you want in a lake house!

Great for golfers!

This is a perfect place to stay if you’re in town to play the RTJ Trail in Muscle Shoals. We golfed in the mornings then spent the afternoons and evenings relaxing at the lake house. The owner is incredibly nice and readily available if there’s anything you need. We hope to return soon!

Absolutely perfect

I just can’t say enough about this property. It was clean, fully stocked with everything you could think of. The views of the lake are amazing and no steps down to the water. Nice grassy back yard for games or just sitting by the water under the shade trees. Fire pit right on the water as well. Camille is so easy to work with and checked on us several times and told said about fireworks that were happening near by. 5 star all around!

The property is in excellent condition. Large and spacious went plenty of room to move around. It was what I was looking for: peaceful and serene; a nice break from the stresses of work. Its off-the-beaten path location gave that total sense of privacy that was so important.

We have enjoyed staying at this home twice! The owners are Wonderful and I can't speak highly enough about them. The neighbors are also very nice people and we have loved visiting with them. The home fits our families needs and is very well furnished with all the things that made our month long stay very comfortable. We would return in a heartbeat!

Amazing!!!

The place was Beautiful! Had everything you needed. The owner was very nice and the neighbors were great. We didn’t want to leave when it was time to go. We will definitely be coming back to this spot. It was peaceful and the sunset was amazing.

Christmas 2023

This was our 3rd or 4th stay at this property and it is perfect for our needs. Summer or Winter our family and friends that visit are always comfortable and excited for all the things to do in the Shoals. Whether it's RTJ golf, the Handy Festival in July, fishing from the dock, summer water sports, all ages in our family enjoy visiting this get away. Fully equipped!

I’ve never stayed in a rental that felt more like a home. Fully equipped throughout, and we loved the record player and records. It’s evident the owner went the extra mile to make sure the house has everything anyone could need. Note: The staircase is probably not safe for young children, so plan accordingly if you have toddlers.

Great place for family get away

We spent 3 nights at this lovely home. Two - 50 somethings, one - 20 something and two- 80 somethings. The home is in a great location, decorated very nicely, comfortable beds, clean and well stocked! Owner was friendly, and a great communicator. We fished off the dock, rented a boat to cruise around the lake, enjoyed 2 nights at the firepit, met the sweet neighbors and had yummy dinners in Florence and Muscle Shoals. My only note is that the stairs are very steep - worked out fine for us because we put my folks in the primary bedrm on the main floor so they were able to keep the stair climbing to a minimum. Highly recommend.

Look no further....book your stay NOW!!

I have been renting from VRBO for years, for family vacations and for golf trips with friends. On this trip two friends of mine came to Muscle Shoals to golf the Robert Trent trail. Everything about the house, from communication with Camille, to location, to price, to how well the house was stocked, etc. was AMAZING!!! I can also see how the house would be fantastic for families, couples and just friends who want to get away. When we go back to Muscle Shoals to golf the trail, we have our house already chosen. Thank you Camille for helping to make our golf trip an amazing time!!

Christmas 2021

This property met every need! Comfortable, clean, cozy, a kitchen that felt like home and it was conducive to having guests you could fish, play golf (RTJ), watch football, and also celebrate my sister's birthday. We were blessed with good weather for December. We checked in with Camille on arrival and departure and otherwise had no need to contact her. She provided a welcoming southern charm to this home and we hope to be back soon.

Peaceful & Relaxing

What an awesome lake house! We looked for a place close to Robert Trent Jones golf course. Had a great stay. The house was super clean. Views were incredible. Weather was perfect. Neighbors super friendly. Excellent communication with the owner (thanks Camille!). We enjoyed a great dinner at George's Steak Pit. Highly recommend the place. Also Yumm's Thai and Sushi. Would give the house 5-stars except for a few things that would make it better (and safer). Wish the upper deck had a couple of comfortable chairs for morning coffee. The living room sofa/chair was low to the ground ... pretty, but not comfortable (at least for tall people). Also, the floor suddenly drops down a whole stair step by the front door. Maybe a piece of bright colored tape to draw attention to that. Lastly, the deck stairs going down to the backyard were very awkward and narrow. You almost had to walk down sideways. Other than these few things, we loved the place and would highly recommend it!

Family-friendly lake house great for dogs

We loved staying at Camille and Al's property. It was a great space for our family. Highlights were the gorgeous view, the great family spaces (kitchen, two living areas, large dining table), the well-equipped kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms, and the ease of communication with the hosts! They decorated beautifully, beds were comfy, and anything we needed for cooking was readily available in the fridges/cabinets. Fishing was great (based on what I saw, we didn't fish) and plenty of people boated and jet-skied happily by! A couple of caveats were that the cleaning crew didn't do a super thorough job before we arrived, so the dog-friendliness of the space was extremely apparent...if we didn't have three dogs with us as well, we would have been pretty turned off. Hopefully that's an easy fix by the cleaners. Additionally, the mosquitos/bugs were INSANE; every time we opened any door (quick as could be!), at least a dozen bugs would swarm inside. Maybe some zappers/fly swatters would be helpful? Lastly the stairs to the bottom floor are extremely steep (so fair warning,) and noise carried from top floor to bottom quite easily, so just FYI. As our family grows, I think we'll probably have to upsize to more bedrooms, but if I ever come back with a 6 or fewer people, I'd definitely consider staying again at this property!

We have lived in Memphis, Tenn., since 1994, but we are both from North Alabama. We love to spend time at the lake house when we are not working.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Al's grandfather owned a house right across the slough from this house. It has since been torn down and the lot is soon to be developed. This area of Donegan's Slough is very special to Al.
