Country Cabin récemment rénové et moderne, prÚs de Devil's Den!

Cette cabine rustique a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ© et est moderne et Ă  jour Ă  l'intĂ©rieur. Le poĂȘle Ă  bois vous garde au chaud avec des unitĂ©s de chauffage et d'air supplĂ©mentaires Ă  chaque Ă©tage. Profitez de la paix et du calme d'ĂȘtre isolĂ© dans les bois, mais Ă  seulement 25 minutes du centre-ville de Fayetteville. À seulement 10-15 minutes d'une Ă©picerie et Ă  5-10 minutes du parc de Stake Den Devil's Den. Beaucoup d'options de randonnĂ©e sur nos 63 acres et de nombreuses activitĂ©s de plein air autour. Une chambre privĂ©e avec un lit king size. Il y a aussi deux lits jumeaux dans la partie supĂ©rieure. Un endroit parfait pour s'Ă©vader et se dĂ©tendre. Le Wifi n'est pas disponible, mais le service tĂ©lĂ©phonique et la couverture des donnĂ©es sont parfaits pour la plupart des tĂ©lĂ©phones. TV et lecteur DVD dans la cabine. Apportez votre propre matĂ©riel de plein air pour le tir Ă  l'arc, la pratique de la cible (avec permission) ou la pĂȘche. Un Ă©tang de source alimentĂ© par une source de 30 pieds de profondeur a des poissons Ă  attraper et Ă  cuisiner pour le dĂźner. En outre, un bateau Ă  aubes pour votre amusement sur l'Ă©tang. Our families varied with infants through teens and the family cabin was a hit with all the playground amenities, not to mention easy to keep an eye ALL at once ! Love this place.

Weekend get away

Enjoyed the proximity to Devil's Den State Park, and Fayetteville was just a short drive away. Son is going to school at UArk. We will stay again!

Perfect accommodations for spring break hiking trip!

This cabin is perfect! So clean with every thoughtful detail provided. The property is beautiful! Wonderful hiking & fishing right on their property. Fire ring for night fires & smores. Very close to Devil’s Den for hiking and just a short trip to Fayetteville to some delicious restaurant choices. Connie was an amazing host & promptly answered every question I had. An SUV would be better suited to traverse the road to the property - but that’s part of the charm. You are on your way to a fun outdoor experience! We will definitely return & tell others! Ty for a great spring break!

Peaceful cabin

The cabin was a peaceful place to relax and get away for the weekend. It was very clean and well stocked. The owner gave good directions, which is good, as this property would be hard to find without good instructions. It was in close proximity to Devil’s Den with some great hiking.

Great time

It rained prior to us arriving but the stay was still awesome. A short drive Devils Den and other small communities makes this a perfect location. We had everything we needed and more.

Fabulous get away: Hidden Gem

We loved our stay at the cabin. The trek down was steep, as the owner indicated, however, it was passable in my truck. The cabin was clean, homey, and welcoming. There were fantastic hiking and other paths around the property. We loved our stay there.

Weekend Getaway

We were so pleased with our stay. The cabin was very nice and comfortable. We loved getting to fish just outside the cabin and had we stayed longer we would have done one of the trails. Getting to hear the night time wildlife was something we were missing but the icing was the bats that came at night. Would definitely come back.

Anniversary and Husband Birthday

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Connie was so helpful with text messages regarding directions in to West Fork to go grocery shopping. The view is breathtaking with sights of the Ozarks and wildlife. The pond was nice to fish at in the evenings. Cabin was well stocked with towels and a small laundry closet to wash clothes. I wasn't quite sure of the cooling units when we arrived but, it cools the cabin just fine with the ceiling fans on. Also enjoyed time on the porch in the nice porch rocking chairs with ceiling fans above to help stay cool. Maybe a cooling unit in the upstairs bedroom would be my only recommendation. The terrain in quite rough so bringing our truck was a must. We enjoyed the Farmers Market Saturday morning and walked to Farrells for a drink and lunch on Dickson street also to cool off. Sunday we went to Devils Den. I would love to return in the fall and catch a game and see the sights in the autumn. Thank you Richardson's for the use of your cabin we will be back as soon as we can. 🏞🐞🐟🐝 Sincerely Randy and Leanora McCullough. Wichita, KS

Amazing place!

Just what our family needed! Quiet getaway with plenty to do on site of property! State park 10 minutes away for more hiking trails and scenery, but plenty of onsite scenic hiking as well. Fully stocked kitchen as far as utensils and cookware available. Great owners!! Will definitely be our go to for any future trips!

Serene setting

Such a beautiful stay! The cabin was cozy and our family had a blast. Lots to do at the cabin and around the property. We didn't even leave. We hiked around the property, fished, played games, watched Flubber, and cooked all of our meals at the cabin. Definitely will be returning. Felt so welcome and loved our stay.

Excellent property

This place had so much attention to detail. I told Connie she had a gift of hospitality! Enjoyed some hiking around the property along the beautiful rock formations. The cabin itself was so comfortable and well stocked, and the large front porch was so nice to have. Already thinking about when we can come back! The listing says a 4x4 is recommended because of the road that goes down to the cabin. We drove a minivan over it, and it was fine except for one part where we did drag a little. Not a huge deal for us.

Awesome Cabin in the Woods!

My wife and I stayed in the main cabin for 2 nights. For our ninth anniversary. Everything that you would want to have in a cabin there was. No need to bring anything they have everything. All you need to bring is yourself and food.

Devils Den

This property was very scenic and beautiful. I do agree I don't think a low setting vehicle could make it up and down the drive way. The cabin had so much to offer as in cooking and family entertainment. This cabin is in a great remote area just min from Devils Den and Fayetteville.

It's sooo relaxing!

Mountain meadow and pond with some privacy, or busy streets with people everywhere? We may never stay at a hotel in a town or city again. Not when we can get a relaxing getaway in a comfortable well thought out home like this. Great!!

Relaxing Getaway

We enjoyed our stay in the main cabin. Very roomy for the 2 of us, but very relaxing and quiet at the same time. We didn’t take advantage of all the property had to offer because we ventured out to some surrounding places during our stay. The cabin was very close to Devil’s Den state park and Lake Fort Smith, which is where we spent most of our time. Connie provided restaurant recommendations, and we absolutely loved the one we picked from her list. I would also recommend eating at Grandma’s House Cafe for lunch; amazing home cooked food and delicious pies for dessert. Thank you for our stay Connie. We loved it!

A hidden gem!

Pictures don’t do justice to the beauty and character of this place. The family is looking forward to enjoying this quiet and beautiful place again soon. Easy check in and out, and excellent hosting.

Richardson Cabin/Main Cabin

Connie was great and kept us in the know for the check-in process and made sure we knew she was available if we needed anything. The property and cabin were awesome, from sitting on the front porch, to hanging out in the living room watching a movie, maneuvering and cooking in the kitchen. It was a very comfortable and clean place to stay.. The king size bed was extremely comfortable.. overall great experience and I highly recommend if you are wanting to be in close proximity to Devil’s Den.

A Very Quiet Place

We came to the area to do some hiking but we had rain the 3 days and 3 nights we were there. However, we thoroughly enjoyed the quiet, the wood stove and the sound of rain on the metal roof. The first afternoon, before it started raining, we enjoyed the front porch. We had no problem getting in and out on the rough road, even with all the rain.

We are Vernon and Connie and are the proud parents of 12 children. As the grandchildren are being added, we decided to develop a place where they could come and visit and also be able to share that with others. Family is very important to us and having a place for families to be together and make memories is valuable! We love Arkansas and all the beauty that it offers. Come visit and enjoy the peace and beauty that God has created here.

Our little woodland village is a retreat is a great escape from the stress and chaos of life.
We are creating a place for families to make memories and bond through valuable family time. Unplug and take a walk, sit by the pond, and tell stories by the campfire. Family unity is so valuable and it comes from spending time together.
Short distance from hiking, ATV trails, Lake Fort Smith, and much more.
Swimming pools are located at Devils Den and Lake Fort Smith.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Down in our little "holler" it is peaceful, quiet, and you feel a thousand miles away from the "rat race" yet you have running water, AC/Heat and a nice bed. You are a short drive from a grocery store and 25 minutes from Fayetteville for fine dining. A valuable bonus is you are just 5-10 minutes from Devil's Den State Park!
You can hike on our 60 acres and scale the huge rocks down our ravine.
Fish, ride the peddle-boat, row a kayak on our little pond or just sit on the dock and take in the view.
A classic old time playground is great for the kids young and old. Try out the swings, merry-go-round, teeter-totters, and “whirly-gig”.
Our cabins are located on 60+ acres that you can hike and explore. You can stay here and vacation or venture out and explore many things close by such as: Devil's Den trails, Lake Fort Smith, West Fork and more. Please visit our website for more local information.
