Had a great stay. There was construction going on when we were there but did not interfere with our stay or sitting on the balcony to watch the fabulous view. The room and space was perfect for our families to enjoy. Perfect location for the Ironman event. The running portion went right in front of the complex four times so able to cheer on our nephew and other Ironman. The restaurants in the area were great. Locale food.

The room was nice enough, but the housekeeping was only adequate (lots of dust and some of the extra blankets and pillows had not been washed). The listing warned us of onsite construction, but did not express the extent of the encumbrance. Our building's beach access was inaccessible, but the neighboring building offered access by walking through the parking lot and all the construction. One elevator was closed. The main issue however was that the listing said that the balconies would be closed from mid-November to mid-January, but when we arrived (October 10) there was a note from the HOA stating the balconies were closed and if we used them we would be evicted. We contacted Blue Swell to discuss the problem, and they thanked us for letting them know there was an error in the listing and to call the HOA office (no money back offered). We called the HOA after we noticed that the construction had moved away from our side of the building and inquired as to how we would know when we could use the balcony. We were curtly informed that the note would be removed from our door when that happened, and that it would be a long time yet, and we were reminded of the eviction threat. The key to avoiding situations like this is proper communication, starting with an accurate listing. This is not our first stay at Long Beach Resort, but it will be our last. We had thought about buying a condo at Long Beach, but are not interested in dealing with the HOA here.

Beware of construction

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were warned there would be construction work beforehand (was a short time before trip), but this was horrible. Woken up by construction noise nearly every day. Had workers outside our windows on scaffolds. Could not use the patio outside bedroom three since they removed all furniture and railing was covered with plastic. It sounded like they were drilling in the floor above us one day. Was so loud we could not hear the tv. None of this is Blue Swells fault. The condo itself was great as usual. Third time renting it. It would have been nice if they could have moved us to a comparable unit somewhere else.

WE LOVED THE LOCATION, THERE WERE A FEW ISSUES WITH THE ROOM BUT NOTHING MAJOR. THE BEDROOMS WERE HOT, SO WE USED THE EXTRA FANS AND THE BED IN MASTOR BEDROOM HAS SAND AND HAD A BAD SMELL. PUT THE SHEETS TO WASH AND HAD A CLEAN BED THE NEXT NIGHT. OVERALL I LOVED THE ROOM. THE STAFF AT BLUESWELL ARE VERY NICE. WOULD BOOK AGAIN.

Stay was amazing! The location is so great it’s incredible. It wasn’t crowded at all so elevators were fast. The beach has a sandbar that goes out a bit which was nice with our younger kids to allow them to feel like they were getting to go out further in ocean than previous years. We will stay again.

Nice condo

As for the place, it was very roomy and large. Need to change out mattress in Master as it had a slump in mattress where people slept. I will say we made a mistake choosing this location during spring break as there were thousand of HS kids and 100’s of police cars blaring sirens non stop

Sunsets galore

We absolutely loved the layout and location of this property. Perfect for myself, my husband and my sister, with an occasional guest. The beach and sunsets were stunning. When our family came for a few days we had plenty of room and the location was perfect. Blue Swell responded super fast and took care of the issue we had with the tv right away. We would stay here again and again.

The view is absolutely amazing from this 12th floor condo. There are several pools and hot tubs to choose from on premises. The bedrooms are lovely, each with their own bathrooms. The only negatives I noticed are the water doesn't get very hot and the kitchen sink faucet is a little finicky.

Great Winter Week

This was the most perfect layout in a condo that I've stayed at in my 50 years of going to the Gulf for vacation! Each bedroom with it's own bath was awesome for my group for personal privacy. The furniture on balcony was wonderful and kitchen was well equipped. We experienced the coldest week and snow fall in PCB in a few decades a resident told us, but who cares! In January it was the sound of the ocean waves, peace and tranquility that I came for. Plus the beautiful sunsets were amazing!
