Great Week at Seaside- Biscuits

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our week at Seaside in Biscuits! We had 7 people in this house and while it can sleep more, it would have been crowded in the living space. The house was great for our group- great kitchen, huge dining table, great patio. The house is a bit aged but very clean and we would definitely stay there again. We did not know about the Fall Break happening during our stay- Seaside did as much as they could about this, but there were thousands of teenagers in the town, trying to sneak through the beach access and loudly running around the streets late at night. Other than that, we had a wonderful week and can’t wait to visit again. Also, the new gym and courts are fantastic!

Perfect Nest for our Dozen

We had a blast Loved the space, location, ambiance. It was clean and ready for us to sprawl as a family. The rooms are all tight, but the family spaces range from huge screened patios to beautiful dining table to multi seat living room.

Beautiful home! Awesome family vacation

Biscuits is a great house

The trail to the tennis court is right at the end of the street. We had plenty of room and sat on the front porch visiting a lot. We loved that the stores and restaurants are a few blocks away. We would stay here again.

Multi family trip

This is our second trip to Biscuits and it provided plenty of room for the 10 of us. One of the upper bedrooms seemed to be several degrees warmer than the thermostat. Not sure if this is an issue for repair.

Perfect for large family

This recent visit presented some minor maintenance issues and everyone from HC was so easy to work with and so accommodating regarding our needs and conveniences. Biscuits is a great house in a lovely spot close to the courts and playground with a short walk or bike ride to the beach and town center. Already planning our trip next year!!

Everything is updated and tasteful. Homeowners Collection is an excellent agency. The cottage was very clean. One note is that there is only one king bedroom, not two as the description states. It is close to the covered family pool and the tennis/pickleball courts which was very convenient.

Lovely Home for a Wonderful Family Vacation

The accommodations were very comfortable and suited all of our needs for three families including two young grandchildren! We felt the house was very clean upon our arrival which is extremely important to our family. The location was very convenient for beach, playground, town center and Ruskin Square. Even the Westside pool was only a short walk easy for the grandchildren. We enjoyed many meals in the town center, the airstreams make it convenient for everyone to find food they liked (even many dairy-free and gluten free options!)

Great for a large family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second year in Biscuits AND Gravy. My grandchildren especially love the nearness to the family pool. That was particularly important this year because of the rain since the pool has a roof. Homeowners Collection is very nice to work with. The large screened porch is important because the living room is not really large enough for everyone to be in. But screened porch living is what it is all about!

Fresh Cream rental review

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely time over Thanksgiving with our families in Seaside. We rented Fresh Cream cottage for ten adults and were so disappointed in the living room, which had comfortable seating for TWO on the one sofa facing the TV and fireplace. The window seat and small child-ottomans were woefully insufficient. We had nowhere to relax together at night.

Also with the hefty, non-refundable damage deposit we would expect complete sets of wine glasses, china, pots and pans. Instead the kitchen was an assortment of odd sets of this and that. We had to request more wine glasses (three mis-matched ones in cabinet).

Spring Break 2022

The house was great. Perfect set up for three families of four. The location was close to beach and town. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was stocked with essentials. I would note the house only has two parking spots, so if there are three cars that is something to consider. I’m sure in the summer it would be easier and feel more comfortable to leave a car on 30A, however with all those teenagers running loose we decided to pay for the closer parking. Nothing to do with the house, but I would also mention that there is an 8pm curfew for teenagers that week. I understand the towns need to keep it under control but it was a little unrealistic and annoying that the kids couldn’t even hang out on the beach until a normal hour. I would definitely stay at this house again, but I would wait for Summer.

The home has been renovated recently and the interior is beautiful with a "beachy" decor and beach-themed artwork. The layout is perfect for a large family or extended family. The rooms are spaced out evenly and each bedroom has it's own bath and feels private, like you have your own retreat. I also liked that there were multiple entrances into the home (front porch, back porch and even 2 outdoor shower entrances). The home feels much bigger than the listed sq.ft. The location is good - pretty central and very close to the playground and one of the pools. It's a little farther in the back, so you do have to walk a little more to the town square, but it's all still very close. We had a couple small issues, like the coffee pot not working, a stain on a quilt, etc - and HOCO fixed the problem right away. I loved that they were available via text all day long if we had questions and they were very helpful. Highly recommend booking through them. Loved the cute Seaside tote and nice amenities we got when we arrived.

Huge and Hot!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great house with a good layout for a big crowd - we had 11 staying in the house plus another 17 at times for dinner - and everyone enjoyed it! Clean throughout, great dining table, comfortable furniture, lots of light, and a huge porch! Only negatives were small maintenance items (like door knobs), some cheap pillows, and the A/C didn't always keep up with the heat on a couple nights ... at least on one side of the house:)
