Place was clean towels and sheets were still in the dryer bathroom sink is slow to drain. Location was great since I was attending a conference at Choctaw Landing. Hot tub could be hotter 98 degrees. All the jets are not working. Overall it is a great place to stay
Best VRBO I have rented. Everything from check in to check out was excellent. Cabin was as excellent couldnât have been better. Definitely will stay again.
Loved everything about this cabin. As another reviewer said, the backyard is very rustic, even though the cabin has other cabins nearby. Location was close to both Broken Bow State Park and Beavers Bend State Park.

Perfect cabin for 4
We loved the quaint cabin - it was very quiet and gave us the secluded atmosphere we were wanting without being too far from the main areas of Hochatown! The hot tub and fire pit were easy to use and was a perfect way to end a busy day of activities! Our dog loved the patio and would sit out there watching for squirrels and deer! Would def book again!
This was a great stay at Broken Bow. The house is very conveniently located about a mile from Hochatown. Very close to the casino, dining, lake, and other local attractions. The host was great on communications and the house was very clean.
We stayed in the cabin for two nights and had time to explore surrounding areas. It was great to go back to the cabin at night and enjoy the hot tub and the grill
There were knats in the kitchen that have never been there before. The sink in the kitchen and bathroom didnât drain very well. I believe the drain in the kitchen may need to be snaked. Everything is always clean and nice. Iâve been there six times over the years and itâs always been exceptional. Sorry to see itâs for sale.
The cabin was cute and spacious. Very clean and located pretty close to everything. The negative about the location was the road. Definitely not the cabin owners fault dave was a noce guy and responded fast. But the road to the cabin was so rough that it actually caused damage to our truck even though we drove slow. The cabin itself was perfect for a weekend anniversary trip. The hot tub was a nice touch and the back porch was peaceful. The cabin was a alot closer to neighbors than it looked online and we had one side that was loud with kids but that again wasnt the owners fault. The cabin has all the basic supplies but thats it. Be sure to bring all bath soaps etc and creamer if ypu enjoy coffee however he did have huge thing of coffee and that was nice since i normally only use k cups and the coffee machine was a pot coffee maker. There was a roll in hlf of toilet paper so if you have more than 2 people you moght want to bring that to. Overall it was a great clean cabin with a very responsive owner and we would book again just prepare for the road a little better.
Such a great and quiet retreat from everything! We will definitely be back! The pictures are great, but what is even better is how much bigger it is in person. 10/10 will return again.
This cabin has many updates and lovely big kitchen. Bed was comfortable and in March - no other neighbors- hot tub was great! Very clean and well appointed, but do bring seasonings and any condiments with you. Best grocer is Pruetts in Broken Bow.
I own and manage the Hideaway cabin, in fact I own the two cabins next door. I've lived in Idabel/Broken Bow area for 24 years, originally from Northern California. All the kids have grown, graduated college and live in different areas of the country. The grandkids are beginning to arrive so it makes an exciting time for the wife and I.
The Hideaway cabin is large and spacious for only having one bedroom. The property it's on is in an older neighborhood so the cabins don't sit on top of each other. It's located near Hochatown, Beavers Bend State Park, Broken Bow Lake and the Lower Mt. Fork River for trout fishing. The cabin is just off the dam road and all roads leading are paved!
The Hideaway cabin has wonderful decks on the front and back, the back deck is where the hot tub sits, the view is U.S. Forest service land, you see no other cabins, which means no other cabins see you, this is also where the BBQ grill is set up. The front deck is perfect for morning coffee, afternoon socializing or just hanging our listening to the birds!
