A wonderful quiet getaway in this amazing cabin set out of the way on a river. We had a wonderful time here, the cabin is great, especially the kitchen, and the location is secluded enough to feel private.
Quiet soft mornings drinking coffee while watching the deer and horses across the river. Afternoons shopping in the darling town of Bigfork! Evenings mesmerized watching the sunset reflected of the mirrored river. It was perfect
Beautiful location! Cabin had everything we needed. Furniture in main living could stand updating and would have been crowded with more people than our 4 - but it was fine for us. We were out and about during the day anyway. Beds were comfy and that's always the most important for us!
Excellent location for unwinding and even had the fortune of watching a Black Bear take an evening swim all from the comfort of the beautiful deck view of the Swan River.
Easy for day trip to Glacier and Whitefish.
This cabin was amazing. We loved the windows running the full length of the cabin so we could always see the river. One morning at breakfast we saw a bald eagle flying overhead. We enjoyed that there was outside seating in the front and in the back. We loved being just a few minutes from downtown Bigfork and lots of shops and restaurants. And we saw a fantastic musical at the Bigfork Summer Playhouse.
Fabulous rental for remote working and vacationing
Stayed at Cabin 6 of the Nest with two adult friends. We found the cabin to be very spacious and comfortable for remote working. Kitchen has more than everything we needed. The property owners, Pam and Mike, weâre wonderful hosts and that go above and beyond. They noticed we went out for a paddle and didnât return after a hail storm, so they came looking for us and towed us back to the cabin. Canât recommend the Nest highly enough!
Unique quiet magical spot, modern rustic with a gorgeous 24 hour view of the river. Fun kitchen and dining area. Privacy and solitude galore yet within easy (<15 minutes) driving distance to the town of Big Fork.
This place is even better in real person! The views from the cabin are amazing- beautiful sunsets and wildlife. And Pam was an amazing host. We hope to be be back someday!
Cabin was nice and quiet. Pamela and Mike were welcoming and informative about the area. Close to Flathead Lake and Glacier National Park. We would definitely stay there again!
What a wonderful stay we had at The Nest. Cabin 6 is spacious, well kept and has a stunning view of the river. It is rustic yet has all of the necessities that made our stay comfortable. We spent every morning with coffee overlooking the wild horses on the neighboring peninsula, and every evening watching the sunset.
Pam and Mike were wonderful hosts. The garden and the lakeside bar were a treat. Plus, we were close to town and the lake, but away from all of the lake traffic and activity. Overall, I highly recommend this place!
This is a beautiful cozy cabin along the Swan River with all the Accommodation you could possibly wish for and more. Sit on your deck in the morning with coffee and watch horses and deer feed. Bring your fishing rod and through out a line or visit with kayakers paddling by. This is a very relaxing and tastefully decorates property just 5-7 minute from Big Fork. The most important thing to know is the owners, Pam and Mike are some of the best hosts we have ever had. Responds within minutes to requests in a very friendly way. We enjoyed visiting with them and they have great information to share of the area! We were not disappointed in any way and you will not be either!
What a beautifully renovated cabin RIGHT ON THE WATER. I can still visualize the views of the water...so peaceful...like a postcard. We enjoyed spending time in the kitchen and even baked a cherry pie from cherries we picked from a tree on the property. I hope we can stay again.
Mike and Pam have lived in Montana for 32 years. They love the outdoors, mountains and playtime in the water. Raising their three kids in this amazing place has been so rewarding to them. So much so, they like to share there accommodations with you! With the river right on the property, mountain views as you walk outside, no wonder they have such a passion for introducing others to this wonder!
