Very nice place

Customer service was excellent. The condo was clean and comfortable. Great location, too. Check out was also extremely easy! Only thing they might want to change is the fire alarm since it is obviously very old. Otherwise, we highly recommend this place to everyone!!!

Good location, but needs updates

We love staying in silverthorne, but this place was in serious need of updates. Would be okay for $150/night but with the ridiculous fees and per/night charge, it was nearly $400/night. Bed was awful, carpet was nasty, and pretty sure the building has a mold problem, because my allergies acted up big time every time we walked in the building. Staying somewhere else next time!

Overall impression of this Vrbo was good with the cleanliness and comfort being the highlights. The rooms and beds were clean with no complaints. The only issues were the constant smoke alarm that could not be fixed immediately or there was no immediate relay of information from Vacasa of what the property manager had said after multiple phone calls. The knives in the property were not very sharp either and could be barely be used to cut things. Otherwise, the property was good.

Nice Place and Good Price

The living room and kitchen area are nice and spacious and great for a group of 6. The unit was clean and the appliances we used worked fine. Nice view from the balcony. The reason I can not give a 5 on this review is the master bathroom is unusable if you are over 6'2". The shower and toilet area could not be more than 3' wide and I am guessing smaller than that. The exhaust fan did not work and sounded horrible. The p-trap for the shower was holding water and did have a slight smell.

A few issues, otherwise comfortable

Check in was easy. We carefully followed the directions for the parking permit but the permit was “out of stock,” then we weren’t able to get in touch with anyone for 2 days for a fix, meanwhile our car got booted and we had to pay $140 for removal. Thankfully, vacasa refunded us for that expense. The TV in the living room also wasn’t working upon check in, luckily we are tech savvy and could fix it after awhile with some troubleshooting. Otherwise a very comfortable stay.

Beware - Treehouse condos.

What did we love? Nothing! The living areas had no heat except for the fireplace whose starter required new batteries that we purchased. A young man came out when we called - brought us a small stand-up heater which heated whomever was standing in front of it. Comments were - the heating system was old and had not been maintained. Stay away from Treehouse.

Stay at your own risk

When we pulled up I realized why there were no pictures of the outside of the property. It was very well unkempt. I pushed that aside since we did not come for a view of the complex. We did choose this partially for the game room, which was also very dirty. A lot of the games did not work, no ping pong balls, etc. Again, trying to stay positive. Sock in the closet, toothpaste on the vanity, cans and chips out on the deck from previous people... ok, we still can do this. Dirty underwear when I pulled out the bed on the pull out couch. NOT OK! We really tried to put all of this aside. The day before we left, my husband intervened before there was a fight in the parking lot. They can't control who stays here, but there were a few gatherings in the parking lot we weren't too thrilled for our kids to hear what was being said and the fight was the last straw- but we had one more night and then time to leave. We checked out and got 3 hours down the road when I realized I left my husband I my shirts hanging in the closet. Big bummer, but there were signs posted there was a $25 finder fee and your items will be shipped back... ok a light at the end of the tunnel. It took almost 3 weeks and several calls to get my items back and then when I got them back the brand new shirt I got from our white water rafting trip was gone. I didn't have to pay to have my stuff shipped due to the untimely manner in which they were returned, but it was a wash since I did not get ALL my items. The customer service group did the best they could to help, but how can I prove anything to get my property back? I can't, so I am out. I know I messed up leaving my items, but if there is a policy to return things then I expect to have all my items returned. I would say if you choose to stay here be prepared to clean up a little before you settle in and take inventory of your stuff and please check , recheck and check again that you don't forget anything! We have been looking for a yearly place to go, but this is definitely off the list and nowhere I would recommend anyone bring their family, based on our experience. We are hoping to try other locations in the area with better luck- as Home Away has helped us have many memorable vacations in the past, including this one, but not for the right reasons.

Good location, some hiccups

The location is good but we had quite a few issues with the place - the lockbox was stuck and it took us a while to be able to open it, we had 2 cars and were not able to add the 2nd car to the virtual permit registration, had to call support because the instructions provided did not work, the bed in the master suite had a huge dip on one of the sides and, finally, there were no extra trash bags and we had to buy some ourselves.

Good location, very basic condo!

The location was great! Comes with a fully equipped kitchen which was good for our family vacation. However, the place itself is pretty old and hasn't been updated in a while. It had a strange smell when we first got there which we assumed was from having pets even though we thought the pace didn't allow pets in there. There is no washer and dryer in the Unit.

The location was great but tv only worked in the living room was dusty needs new mattresses very uncomfortable some pans weren't exactly clean but we left it cleaner but we didn't sweep or dust they do have housekeeping but for those fees someone should do that before the guests show up I know customer service quite well

Mostly very nice

The cleaning list posted was dated from June and I visited in August. Was it cleaned? They asked us to remove shoes and floor stained our socks, so not really clean. The hall bathroom sink stopper wouldn’t open so standing water, unable to use. Couches not very comfy. Lights in the master bath flickered, and the reading lamp by the master bed had no shade, so unable to use. Overall, though, very cute and comfortable, nice kitchen, easy location, peaceful. I wish they had told us up front none of the amenities were available during Covid-19- other places we stayed at monitored their facilities and would reserve time for us at pool, hot tub, etc. Also, since we paid a fairly hefty cleaning fee, I don’t really think it’s ok to ask us to launder the towels and sheets. The taxes and fees doubled the price of the rental.

Great Experience

My friends and I were looking for a nice and easy place to stay for a ski weekend, and this fit just what we needed. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Very nice pool, hot tub, and suana too.

2019 Spring Break

Condo was dated. Had new appliances, but the beds were not comfortable at all and pillows were flat. It was a two bedroom, one room was always cold the other hot. Shower stall was extremely small in one bedroom. My husband could not even take a shower, had to use the other. Sinks did not drain properly and the water temp was either cold or scorching hot.

Modest accommodations in beautiful area

The place had most amenities. However, the rooms were hot and adjusting the heater didn't seem to help. As well, the satellite TV got off its settings and we were unable to get it back despite multiple efforts. A guide would have been helpful or instruction sheet.
