This beautifully designed retreat is ideal for a romantic escape or indulgent solo getaway. Enjoy total privacy with glen views through huge windows, a super-king-size bedroom, and a snuggle chair perfect for curling up in style. Just 50 miles long, the Isle of Skye is packed with breathtaking scenery and iconic sights, making it easy to explore in a single trip. Nearby, discover Neist Point Lighthouse (4.5 miles), perched on Skye’s most westerly tip with dramatic cliffs and unforgettable sunsets – especially popular with photographers. History buffs will love Dunvegan Castle (8.5 miles), Scotland’s oldest continuously inhabited castle, complete with gardens, guided tours, and boat trips to spot seals. For a slower pace a scenic picnic on the white sands of Coral Beach (12.5 miles).
After admiring this home’s sleek wooden exterior, step through the entrance hallway and head right to find a handy cloakroom with a WC, washing machine and dryer. The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area is a truly gorgeous space, with triple-aspect windows framing lush greenery. Cosy curtains, warm wooden touches and a corner wood burner make this a snug spot on chilly days. There’s a breakfast bar for casual meals and snacks (or sipping wine while your partner cooks up a storm). The spacious bedroom includes an en-suite with both a rainfall and standard shower, plus a bath with a hand-held shower for added indulgence.
A lovely outdoor area is accessed via patio doors from the living area. In good weather, you can dine outside on the deck and pull out the sun loungers for some quiet reading or snoozing. There’s also bike shelter area and parking on the driveway for two cars.
