Or plan a visit to the Fleet Air Arm Museum (6 miles), the Haynes Motor Museum (5.5 miles), numerous National Trust properties including Stourhead (16 miles) and Barrington Court (20.5 miles) or the historic town of Sherborne (4 miles).

At the heart of this stunning barn conversion, guests will find the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a wonderful space to relax and socialise, with vaulted ceiling and large windows, which together give the room a fantastic light and airy feel. The lounge area, at one end, is a cosy spot with a Smart TV, warming wood burner, and inviting sofas. There is space to dine just opposite and the kitchen area is well designed to bring families and friends together for sociable meals. A separate utility room is the ideal spot to leave coats and boots after country walks. Each of the property’s three bedrooms benefit from doors which open out into the garden. The first is a super-king-size master bedroom featuring an en-suite with shower and WC. The second is a twin room which can be made into a super king on request (please request at time of booking), located next to a bathroom with shower and WC. The third bedroom has a double bed with a Jack-and-Jill style en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Outside, the property has a patio garden with furniture and a charcoal BBQ, beyond which is a pleasant lawn area with views across the surrounding countryside. Ample private parking is also available.
