Sympathetically renovated in 2018, this charming character cottage sits alongside the owner’s home, but privacy is assured. Cleverly combining contemporary style with original features, the cottage is set in a picture postcard Wiltshire Village surrounded by verdant countryside, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is ideally situated for days spent exploring the many walking and cycling routes nearby. Visit the bustling market town of Marlborough with its wide high street where you will find a great selection of amenities and individual shops. To the southwest is the Georgian city of Bath, famed for its stunning architecture and numerous historic sites, including the Abbey and Roman Baths. Or explore the iconic Stonehenge, Silbury Hill and Avebury, well worth a visit.

A shingle path leads from the parking area through the garden to the private entrance of this attached property. Just inside the door is a stunning open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which has an inglenook fireplace with wood burner and has been furnished with care, ensuring your comforts are considered. The stylish kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave,fridge, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is a comfortable dining space adjacent, perfect for cosy meals for two. Take time to relax in the lounge area, where there is an inviting sofa for curling up and watching a film on the Smart TV, which also has a Sky Sports and Movies package. When the day is done, head up the staircase to the beautiful double bedroom that overlooks the garden. Just next door is a stylish bathroom with rainfall shower over bath, and WC.

Heading outside you will find a pretty shingle terrace with garden furniture, just perfect for al fresco dining or a spot of star gazing. Off-road parking for two cars is available to the front of the cottage.
