Perfectly situated equidistant from the A39 and A30, and close to the Devon and Cornwall border you can enjoy exploring both of these ever-popular counties. Head north and visit the expansive golden sands at Widemouth Bay, and Bude, voted Best Seaside Town 2018 and offering a choice of beach, pretty canal and splash pool. Keen walkers can also spend their days exploring via the South West Coast Path, taking in the spectacular scenery and views along the way, or trekking across Dartmoor National Park and Bodmin Moor. Other places of interest accessible from here include Hartland Quay, the idyllic fishing villages of Clovelly, Port Isaac and Padstow, the Eden Project, and numerous National Trust properties and sites including the stunning Lydford Gorge.
Stepping inside this stunning converted barn you will firstly find yourself in a spacious light and airy hallway, this useful area is adjoined by a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and additional fridge. There is also an additional ground floor WC. From here venture further into the property where you will discover the first of the living areas and this comprises a relaxed cinema/games room with lovely exposed beams, a large corner group sofa and bean bags. Entertainment for all ages is provided in the form of a projector with Smart TV, Netflix, and there is also a full-size pool table for anyone keen to challenge fellow guests to a game. Accessed on the other side of the hallway further living space is provided in the form of the impressively spacious lounge/kitchen/diner. This fabulously sociable room boasts a feature vaulted ceiling, Smart TV, wood burner, lovely large windows and French doors to the outside, and provides a great venue for a relaxed family meal. The kitchen itself is also fabulously appointed with a granite work surface and breakfast bar area and offers everything any keen cook could wish for including two electric ovens, an electric hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, coffee pod machine, wine cooler and dishwasher. Completing the offering on the ground floor and both accessed via three steps down from the main level are the first of the beautiful bedrooms, the first of which is a twin (with zip-and-link beds that can be presented as a super-king upon request) with a Smart TV and en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC, and then a king-size with Smart TV, en-suite shower room with WC, and French doors to outside. Venturing up the oak staircase and into the first floor you will then discover the other perfectly appointed bedrooms, and these consist of a spacious dual aspect king-size with Smart TV and en-suite shower room with WC, a cosy twin bedroom with Smart TV and en-suite shower room with WC, and lastly a further king-size with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC.
Located to the rear of the property and accessed via both the lounge and ground floor bedroom, a large enclosed garden has been provided for your relaxation and enjoyment. A generously proportioned patio is presented with lovely informal garden future and a gas BBQ, and provides the perfect place to relax in the sun whilst children can enjoy the climbing frame with swing and slide, and at the end of the day you can relax in your own private hot tub. There is also an outdoor showr tap, perfect for washing off wetsuits and muddy paws. Private off-road parking for four cars is provided within the private enclosed area.
