The cabin was beautiful and extremely peaceful, We overpacked because we didn't think so many things would be there and were relived to see the things we forgot. It was cozy and relaxing seeing the deer and going fishing. (The fence was a different color from the picture which threw us off at first apart from that no issues).
We absolutely loved our stay here as a family of 7! But the little things were the things that mattered most: coffee, firewood, even extra toothbrushes! We loved the property and the kids each had space. What a wonderful place with a great central location for all things southern Indiana!
Perfect location. Perks were the extra half bathroom, state park pass, satellite Wi-Fi, on demand water heater, and the washer/dryer. Bed was comfortable. Window A/C units kept the property cool in the hot summer and each sleeping area had one which allowed each person to set their own temperature. Cabin was well stocked. Lots of games and movies available. Slow cooker and air fryer were bonuses. Close to the gas station, winery, restaurants, and brewery. Plenty of parking for the car/boat. It's located in a quiet area.
We had an absolutely wonderful and peaceful stay at this cabin, made even more special as we were celebrating both a birthday and our anniversary. The setting was sereneâexactly what we needed to relax and enjoy each otherâs company. The cabin was immaculate, cozy, and clearly cared for with love. It was stocked with everything we could need, including a great selection of games and activities that made our time there even more fun and memorable. It truly felt like a home away from home, and weâre so grateful for the thoughtful touches that made our celebration unforgettable. We canât wait to return!
I wasn't going to leave a review, but I keep getting emails requesting a review. I left a note and a cash tip. We've stayed down the road, so thiught we'd try a new cabin. On a good note, it's a good location, and had everything we needed ( except a pan). The inside was cozy and clean. The price was good. Communication was easy enough. I'm not sure why the outside was neglected. I saw in the journal that we weren't the first people to stay this spring. The trash was 2/3 full out back, and smelly from 10 feet away. The front porch looked very different than the online picture. It was full of leaves, layers of dirt, paint cans, and a storage cooler thing covered in green.
We pretty much just slept and bathed there. Did make coffee. Not enough regular coffee pods only decaffeinated. But we went out and bought our own. We did no cooking but we did microwave a few things. Basically we stayed pretty much with family in Birdseye. It rained the whole time.We loved tge cabin it was perfect for what we wanted we will stay here again
The cabin has plenty of room and everything you could need for a great stay. Love all the personal touches and it was just so cozy and relaxing. We loved it.
