Perfectly positioned between the South Downs and Sussex coastline, this impressive six-bedroom detached home combines modern comfort with practical living, making it ideal for families, groups, contractors and business travellers alike. Recently refurbished throughout, the property offers generous accommodation all on one level, creating a relaxed and accessible environment for guests of all ages. With six comfortable bedrooms, five private en-suite shower rooms and a spacious communal shower room, guests can enjoy both privacy and convenience throughout their stay.

To the rear of the property, the large kitchen, dining and living spaces create a welcoming social hub where guests can cook, dine and relax together after a day exploring the Sussex coast or countryside. Large windows and garden views help bring the outdoors in, while the generous rear garden offers plenty of space to enjoy the fresh air, dine outside or simply unwind in peaceful surroundings.

KITCHEN / DINING / LIVING AREA
The heart of Downs Escape is its open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, creating a welcoming space for guests to cook, dine and unwind together. The fully equipped kitchen includes a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, two four-ring hobs, two ovens, microwave, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine and everything needed for a self-catering stay, including cookware, crockery, glassware and cutlery. Complimentary tea, coffee, salt and pepper are also provided.

The dining table comfortably seats 8 guests, with an additional 4 seats at the breakfast bar, making it easy for larger groups to enjoy meals together. On warmer days, open the French doors onto the balcony and garden where an additional outdoor dining table and chairs provide the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch or evening drinks in the fresh air.

After a day exploring charming and vibrant Sussex, settle into the cosy lounge area, complete with comfortable seating, a Smart TV and free Wi-Fi. Whether you're catching up with friends and family or streaming your favourite shows using your own Netflix or Prime account, it's the perfect place to relax and recharge.

Our Guest Promise

We want you to arrive at a spotless home. If anything has been missed with the cleaning, please let us know straight away, and we will put it right as a priority. If we are unable to resolve it on the same business day, we will offer to move you to another property or refund you for the affected time!

Check-In

We’ll send your check-in instructions via email and SMS at 3 pm on your arrival day for check-in from 4 pm, once your damage deposit/waiver has been paid.

Damage Deposit

We work closely with our property owners to protect their homes and take damage deposits for all bookings. The day before check-in (or on the same day, if applicable), you’ll receive a 3D Secure link to select your preferred damage deposit option. The full deposit is simply pre-authorised on your card and released within 7 days of check-out if no breakages or damages are reported. Guests who prefer not to do a fully refundable damage deposit have the option of a one-off non-refundable damage waiver at a much lower cost.

Smoking

To keep our properties fresh and clean for all guests, smoking of any kind, leaving traces behind suggesting smoking of any kind, or vaping (including e-cigarettes), is not allowed indoors. Please smoke on the street or patio area, if available.

Noise

To help keep things peaceful for our neighbours, we kindly ask that noise be kept to a minimum between 10 pm and 8 am. We want you to have a great time. A little consideration goes a long way to making sure everyone can enjoy their evenings (and get a good night’s sleep!)

Not all properties can host hen, stag, or similar group celebrations. If you’re planning one, just drop us a message, and we’ll happily guide you to a property that can accommodate your group.

Please note that call-outs due to excessive noise or parties may incur a fee.

Check-out is by 11 am. Unauthorised late departures may incur a £50 per hour fee.
