The space
The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need to cook and share memorable meals together, whether it’s a hearty breakfast before a day of exploring or a cosy evening dinner. The inviting open-plan lounge features a wood fire place, comfortable sofa and armchairs creating a warm space to relax. With an excellent selection of DVDs, a smart TV, High Speed WiFi, books, and board games, there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained indoors, whatever the weather.

We have 3 bedrooms upstairs, one with a King bed, one with a Queen size bed and a bedroom with very small double bed. The Family Bathroom is on the first floor.

As an old and character property the door frame height is pretty low in parts - if you are tall then please be careful! The small staircase is quite steep.


We have dedicated parking at the rear of the cottage, any additional cars may be parked on the street at the front or in the car park by the recreational area 100 yards along the lane. There are no parking restrictions in the village.

Just a short drive from Whipsnade Zoo for a family day out and also a half hour drive to Harry Potter - Warner Bros studio tour. In Tring is the fabulous Natural History Museum is definitely worth a visit!
